People tell me i am very smart although i dont think i am of exceptional intelligence. I have Uranus in the 10th conjunct MC which squares Saturn in 7th and Mars in 1st and trines Sun in 2nd. My mercury squares Jupiter in 4th and trines moon at 6th house cusp and sextile venus in 3rd. Also have a grand air trine/kite involving Mars, Moon and Pluto with Venus on the kite end. Having photographic memory is the best aspect of this trine to me. I dont retain information past a few day. I read books at a fast speed (one a day is not unusual)but a week later i have problems telling you what the book was about.IP: Logged |

I have a friend who is off the charts genius, although he doesn't come off that way at first. He has a conjunction of Sun, Mercury, Uranus, and Pluto in Virgo. His North Node is in Gemini. IP: Logged |

Adding asteroid Sapientia 275. I have it conjunct my Merc [both 22 degrees Aries] in my 3rd. Lucky me . From the almighty wikipedia: quote: The word sapience is derived from the Latin word for wisdom, sapientia.[2] Both are related to the Latin verb sapere, which means "to taste, to be wise, to know ;"

incredible how many geniuses we have here, considering that only about 0.1% of the whole population actually has a genius iq.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_distribution wait. if you're here, chatting about how smart you are, who's saving the planet, building the rockets, finding the cure for the flu? I'm the lonely genius. lol. I have several of those aspects but dumb people always think I'm dumber than they are like this girl in one of my classes. Only the other smart people get me. I had a card reader on Venice Beach who just didn't want to believe it. He must've looked at the cards 4 times. At first he said "you're intelligent?", then "Really intelligent" as he kept shaking his head looking at me in disbelief, then finally "REALLY intelligent". I thought tell that to my math teacher. I don't have that kind of smarts. He said, "noone would ever guess, that's for sure. I didn't. Seeing you, you look like you're in your own little world, definitely go to your own drum". For some reason when I dress up they seem to take me more seriously. It really feels more like a curse sometimes, but still, I have to be grateful, I'm sure it's saved me a lot of times. It can really be isolating though.IP: Logged |

Uhhhh......rofl Yes, and my stunning beauty and wit are a curse as well. Why, beating back the suitors is such a chore these days, I do declare.

Saturn hasn't had much of a mention. A notable exception being Einstein's chart. Dazzling brightness is all very well but without hard work and dedication it tends not to go very far. Stephen Hawking hardly got to produce ground-breaking work 40 years after being given 6 months to live by resting on the thought that he is a thoroughly clever chap. I bet his chart has a strong Saturn. IP: Logged |

I hate that he debunks Astrology. http://dir.salon.com/story/books/wire/2001/01/17/hawking/index.html I also wonder what in his chart indicates his Lou Gehrig's Disease. IP: Logged |

My husband likes to tell me every know and then about the fantastic IQ scoring he got about 30 years and two million pints ago. So how come he can't work the washing machine or find his own underpants without help? Another strong Saturn chart. There is a brain, maybe not dazzling, but he puts the effort in and gets results. Mercury in Capricorn, Virgo Rising (if it's worth doing, it's got to be done right). p.s I used to live by Stephen Hawking School which was a specialist school for special needs kids. His name is used in this capacity quite frequently in the U.K

Good aspects between Mercury/Pluto, Mercury/Neptune, and Mercury/Uranus. Mars conjunct Uranus is brilliant when it comes to movement. Play a game of basketball and it'll whirl you into action.

I don't believe that there is such thing as good and bad aspects. One thing that I agree with Magi Astrology is that all natal aspects can be good. Sir Isaac Newton even had Mercury square Jupiter-Saturn. Nothing else aspects his Mercury. Nicholas Culpeper had Mercury oppose Saturn. IP: Logged |

Can indicate a rebel, but shows a radical search for truth. Can indicate a tyrannical bent especially around ignorant people." Finally he said uranus/chiron midpoint conjunct Jupiter equals a, "super researcher as the intuitive grasp of knowledge is combined with incisive critical analysis. Much power in your knowledge but the probability that you are isolated as few can stay with your intellectual level."[/B]
I have Uranus/Chiron midpoint conjunct Pluto exact in Scorpio in the 4th House. What does this mean? And my Jupiter is almost in a conjunction with it, except it's 10 degrees away. My Jupiter is in Sagittarius in the 4th House. Oh and my Chiron is in Libra in the 2nd House conjunct Virgo Sun and Libra Venus, exact. And my Uranus is in Capricorn in the 6th House conjunct Neptune. IP: Logged |

I love this thread! I have always had a fear of taking the Weschler IQ test only to find out I was below average. Mercury is in 3H Scorpio opposed 9H Mars retro Taurus. Merc is also the apex of a Grand Water trine involving 7H Moon in Pisces & 11H Saturn in Cancer. I have been hearing impaired from a young age, yet excelled in classical ballet until I became really ill & had to quit. I won a scholarship to one of the most prestigious art schools in the US while in high school. However, I suck at mathematics and I come up with different answers than what is expected to logic problems (Sun conjunct Uranus?) . I truly think Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences is valid. Thank you Glaucus & Iqhunk. This thread has been illuminating.------------------ Claire "When going gets weird, the weird turn pro." -HST IP: Logged |

Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune in aspect (in declination or longitude) with Asc, Mercury, Moon. Sometimes the hard aspects are just as helpful, but you can also include the Quintile series (72, 144*). During the Uranus-Neptune conjunction (early-mid 1990s) and parallels (1982-86; 1993-97) some people only needed this factor conjunct or parallel one such point in the chart to show outstanding intelligence. However, it is also mixed up in that ADD/ADHD concept, which is often high intelligence butting up against the conventional social structures of schools and the educational practices of our society. ------------------ http://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/ Natal and trends astrology - expert rectification - health and wellness IP: Logged |

I’ve been Mensa-tested and apparently have a genius IQ.From my chart, my feelings are: Only one planet in a water sign, (an unaspected Mars in Scorpio), so general imbalance, methinks; Two malefics in 3rd house, (Uranus and Pluto); Ruler of 3rd (Mercury) is in conjunction with Neptune; 3rd house Uranus makes exact semi-square to Mercury, (3rd house ruler); Moon in Gemini conjunct Saturn.

Mercury trine Saturn and Uranus here. Dunno if I am as brilliant as Einstein (hated school with a passion) but I can say I'm fairly intelligent above average. Mercury is in Leo Rx in 9th house. Saturn is in 1st house Rx. Last time I checked my IQ was somewhere 115 or 120 (can't recall well). That's definitely average.IP: Logged |
