The opp has to deal with difficult relationships or tumultuous partnerships. Even betrayal from a close somebody because they align themselves with people so closely.

The conjunction has to deal with issues of image. Either they must learn to modify their approach. They can scare people off or incite hatred in others. Even be completely misunderstood when their intentions are noble.

The sextile and trine are less intense. These ones are more interested in self knowledge and self empowerment. They often "expect" power and are given. Whilst the opposition and square expect it too, but are met with a lot of resistance (barring Venus/Saturn aspects in the chart).

My Leo Sun (in 8th house, double Scorpio dose for me here!) squares tightly (1°) my Pluto Scorpio. I was forced to develop courage. I have raw guts, as you said.
But I prefer to keep this side of me hidden, whilst when I was younger I did all I could to put it on display.

But I am not secretive. I am talkative and often talk freely about my life experiences, even to people I don't know very well. Maybe it's my Saggy rising.

I've definitely experienced pain in my life (up to now), and a great deal of this pain was caused by my father. I need to be wary of emotional vampires though, since I seem to encounter them with a certain frequency. Luckily I do recognize them in a minute and shield myself accordingly.

Sun square Pluto puts the core vitality and conscious energy/identity into driving tension with the unconscious place of personal power. The tension is within self and these two drives need to be acted out, but harmonized. It shows the person does not feel innate empowerment from within, but experiences it falsely as an ego game. The will power can easily be excessive and stubborn or arbitrary; what passion arouses it tends to arouse to excess or compulsion until moderation is learned through self-discipline.

There is a drive to dominate in some fashion and many of these people have management talents, but tend to be better at managing resources than people. They need to exercise the art of compromise.

Depending on what is in the chart, other aspects can moderate and help balance out this one. As usual, how pronounced this aspect is depends on how tight it is.

Its a tricky aspect for sure!

Anyho...@iJaadee in twitter talks about sun/pluto often and the difficulties with it.

Interestingly, she also mentioned that if you have this aspect you have superpower - if you believe in making something happen you can, when you doubt yourself, tell yourself you can make it/do it and you will.

Example - you get stuck on math problem and are struggling to find the answer - tell yourself you will get it eventually, and you will! Applies to all areas of life.
