For sun signs;
I really don't like how some people assume that because someone is an air sign it makes them less committal. (?) I'm a Libra female and I was in love with a Capricorn man. He left ME for a Scorpio. When I had so much to offer, plus I was head over heels for him. Both signs are very into the status quo.

im cappy sun my bf is libra sun my moon libra, his sagittarius my mars sag his mars libra my venus scorpio n so is his so yea we have a pretty good relationship our sun and moon make positive aspects, both moon and mars make positive aspects, our venuses are conjunct by the 1st degree. im a 27 degree ven scorp and his a 26 venus scorp. im pretty sure too his venus trines my asc. he has merc in virgo and i have jupiter in virgo, so we have very lighthearted playful relationship at times and lots of goodwill. me aries asc, him sag asc and his sun is in 10th house. must i go on any more lol oh yes and we've been going out for 3 years now : ) its proof!!! cappys are not always what they seem to be ; ) IP: Logged |

Although this probably won't mean a lot, I'm a Libra Sun and I have never had an extraordinarily good relationship with a Capricorn Sun. Obviously you should look at more than just Sun signs for the best compatibility though. I think the Capricorn I got along with the least also had a lot of poor placements that did not go with mine - like the Moon in Scorpio and Venus in Aquarius. I know that Capricorn has a tendency to do well with Scorpio sometimes... I know a Capricorn-Scorpio couple who broke up, and still think about each other. Openly. To everyone who will listen. I') It's at random times though. It's almost like they want to be together, but just... can't work out the small print. The Cap guy is obsessed about his new partner even though both have considered getting back together. Capricorn is extremely loyal, and that's what's maddening about the Cap guy to the girl - he just won't let go of the poor relationship he's in now. Oh well.

I am a libra rising cappie and in my youth Libra men were a constant.Young libras and cappies are very different from their older counterparts so I'd say just date and enjoy yourselves but definitely have LOTS of counseling if considering marriage.IP: Logged |

I strongly agree with that.. You need to consider the whole chart. For me I'll look crudely at the 2 planet.
Moon- ur emotional , subconscious need.
Venus - where/what make you happy in relationship. i.e. if your sun in cappy , ur girl sun is libra. And you both have moon and venus in the same/compliment element. Things can go very well. Although normally cappy and libra can't normally match because the element Earth and Air aren't go in the same direction. I 'm libra , I date the cappy before . I like him very much , I think he like me too because he is the person who contact my friend and let her introduced us. But the things between us couldn't work . I feel he too slow , reluctant for me ( maybe because his Earth type) Not really to make a quick move . I'm Air sign , I want decision , I want the expression that I can be sure , he will be there , not just hold the solid idea with himself.. Oohh.. i forgot to tell .
His venus and sun in Cappricorn , Moon in Taurus
My venus in Leo , Sun in Libra , Moon in Cancer. We aren't completely match. Hope you lucky with your gf.  Edited more...

I'm a Libra, and I normally get along with Capricorn suns. However, I have a hard time with the Venus and moon there. The exceptions are if the person has other warmer or softer placements that would overrule the moon/Venus in Cap; there are some Cap moon/Venus people here on LL who seem pretty cool, for example. I think that one of the biggest issues for me is that I have a lot of water in my chart--four planets in water and I do have a grand trine in water. My own Venus is in Scorpio, and my moon in Cancer. My moon in Cancer craves security. My Venus in Scorpio craves connection and closeness. Cap Venus/Moon seems to get uncomfortable with the high intensity of emotions that I have and my tendency to be talkative and expressive. That's what I've observed in the Cap-influenced people with whom I've had issues. Again, though, certain placements can sometimes override this. I have no issue with the suns, though. And, again, there are some moon/Venus Caps that I do like and with whom I don't really have difficulties, but, overall, I'd say that those are two of the Venus and moon positions that cause me a lot of difficulties. Oh my Kabes, if you have it then it is both work and art. The signs Libra and Capricorn may be square BUT THAT is not all that you are. Chemistry can start small and grow well or start strong and go to crap unattended. Considering a notion that Libra will look elsewhere when not watched is like considering the notion that they are all otherwise sexually inclined. Neither are true.
In any case with out cause do do create mistrust and thus a wedge based on a sun sign square. We are all each unique and the Sun sign is only the beginning if you want to help yourself to better relationships and any failures of such ,present or future.
Astrologically the moon, Venus Mars aspects & house placements mean so much more together that having a Sun sign square to that of spouse/significant other.
The square between signs may be a needed square in the mix of everything else in your two charts. The square indicates tension and tension is required for growth.Good Luck

My dad is a Capricorn and mom is a Libra. They divorced though. Those two were an odd (and pretty awkward) match. Any sun sign combo can work out, but these two energies at face value don't seem to match well in my opinion. IP: Logged |
