Hey,Just wondering something... Which do you guys consider more important (overall, more beneficial). Having great synastry interaspects with someone whom you want to form a intimate relationship with or having a great composite with them? which would you prefer overall? Ideally, I'd prefer a balance of both...but life being life (lol); this guy I like. We have a pretty great synastry aspects but a not so good composite... I know that in the end it is "us" (and not astrology in itself) who decides if the relationship works or not...but still... Just wondering which one everyone prefers? Thank you muchly! I'm just a bit confused... ------------------ 'Virgo Ascendant, Libra Moon, Aries Sun' "Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense". - Buddha IP: Logged |

The composite is an interesting astrological tool, but I'd prefer decent synastry going on -- our natal charts are our Self depicted in a Sky-Map -- our aims, our challenges, our possibilities.IP: Logged |

I prefer synastry, mainly because I just don't get how a composite works. I mean, the whole midpoint thing. Why would, for example, a Sag sun and a Taurus sun have a Pisces sun composite? Why would the combination of those two personalities produce that result? A relationship is the combined energies of two people but I don't think combined energy equals the midpoint of the two interacting. IP: Logged |
