From E.W. Neville's Planets in Synastry: quote: Within the small orb of the quincunx, this Venus/Mars overly can have significant sexual content. The Venus individual will feel that their particular style of sexual expression would somehow not please the Mars person, or at least that the Venus person would have to modify and sublimate their normal behavior in a sexual relationship. The Mars person will likely feel that, while the Venus person would be an attractive partner, the relationship would be less of a joint venture as a "your turn/my turn" process in which each accomodates the other, but little mutuality would emerge. With strong links elsewhere to bring the individuals together, they will be willing to give it a try, but this feeling of not being able to fully understand and respond to each other's sexual needs will probably persist.
And it would also be in the composite so here is that one: quote: The quincunx suggests a less than ideal matching of styles within the the relationship, one in which considerable modification and repressing of individual needs must occur for the partners to share intimacy. Since most partnerships will eventually produce a dominant partner, ultimately the quincunx suggests that that partner will dictate the tone and style of intimacy and the more passive partner will be required to meet that demand, regardless of whether or not it is a satisfying mode for them. How bearable this will be over time is largely a matter of the quality and content of the overall relationship, but it does not promise particularly happy results from the more intimate aspects of the partnership.
I'd read the synastry aspect for the 2 degree quincunx as opposed to the 4 degree, since it would have more "power" in the chart. Of course there's free will, blah blah..Just wanted to let you know what I had on it. See ya IP: Logged |
