Tara,

yes, I think I should stick to the interpretation-guidelines he gives on the site.
And I too love the software. So much to play with, as you said.

Awww crap, I tried this and I got a -57.something while my bf got a score of around 600. Does that mean I'm a problem???

*edit* Wait a minute, You have to have EXACT birthtimes don't you? Because I only have an aproximate time for when he was born and tried for 3 possible times he could've been born at and got 3 different socres. So nevermind.

OK, I fiddled around with it and got it to work... I haven't drawn any solid conclusions about what I think, but the total scores tend to reflect reality... to be completely honest though... it still looks like a big jumble of numbers to me. I'll need to sit down and study some more this weekend to get any real value out of it.

BUT.. I do want to say, this Venus business, of the partner who has the stronger Venus loving the other more... is not ringing true for me AT ALL.

Case in point, I have a good friend who I adore... as a friend only. I have no romantic feelings for him at all and never have. He thought he was in love with me for awhile, and got really obsessive to the point where I severed the friendship for a few months.

Anyway, in our cosmodynes, my Venus is much stronger than his, I was like... uhhh, yeah I don't think so.

Also it claims that Pisces jerkoff loves me more than I loved him. Maybe in his own twisted way that may be remotely possible, but I don't believe the man knows what love is. I'm skeptical. I mean, this is a man I loved so much that I thought I would never leave him for any reason, I couldn't imagine leaving him even if he cheated on me... (this was the illusion we're talking about, I would never have even given the "real him" the time of day... but he puts on an amazing prince charming act, total fake, manipulative, lying egomaniac). The point is, that's how much I loved him. And our Venus scores were not that high, but his was higher than mine *shrug*

I got really positive total scores for my dearest friends, one was just over 1000 and the other was 2500 or so. I got -900 for the Cancer that was in love with me, -700 for the Pisces jerk and -1500 for my ex-husband... hahaha

Whhooaaa... OK... I just did my cosmodynes with my quasi-boyfriend... I say quasi, because we hang out together and have sex... we never, ever fight, we may be going into business together... but I don't feel an emotional connection, we've hardly ever even scraped the surface of emotions... frankly, I'm happy with that. Right now, it works for me. I have sometimes felt a bit offended that he doesn't open up... but, you know... whatever! I'm having fun, I'm having the most amazing sex of my life, it NEVER, EVER gets boring... sooooo..

*drumroll*

We have a compatibility score of 3809!

ROTFL!!!

I've always known we would do well together if we had a "real" relationship, but I'm, a firm believer in never pushing things... I think the relationship will flourish into whatever it's supposed to be, but... this is just funny to me

He's a Cancer and I'm an Aqua. Our traditional synastry reflects the "disconnect"... but we have some great aspects, like... my Jupiter opposed Sun/Mars sits exactly along his ASC/DC. And interestingly... his Juno is conjunct my Moon and my Juno is conjunct his Moon (this is what sold me on Magi astrology... we have AMMAAAAZING sex... without commitment... and otherwise our synastry is pretty unremarkable. There is not much in synastry that reflects the explosive sexual chemistry we have).

Anyway, this amused me, lol.

Venus, is the 3809 the total score of your combined cosmodynes score or for just you?

Also, have you checked the declinations in your geo chart? If not, you might have some doozies there in terms of synastry conns.

To be frank, I think that the cosmodynes are a roadmap, because I have a feeling it's somewhat skewed toward soft aspects like the trine and the sextile or the parallel etc. I have a hard time taking rules like that at face value. Some people love those hard aspects between them and other people they can grow with. Just like I know people with hard Saturn-Chiron between them who grow and survive, so the Magi saying about that clash is just a roadmap. but I would still put a lot of emphasis on delineating synastry in the traditional way (or the magi way). And nothing is more important than free will. End of rant.

Oh and I also wanted to say to everyone who's sent me mail for the cinderella stuff... they're coming, they're coming! I'm just a little backlogged at work this week and also fighting a cold so I'm tired and slower.

Tara.

Tara... it was the total score.

I've always known that if I decided to "settle" and be OK with having a good, dependable husband and father for my future kids and AMMAAAZING sex... but no deep emotional connection, but a very good working, practical relationship... he would be it.

Not to say that it's up to me or that he would want that with me, but... it would work well.

But I really want to be madly in love

Tara,

I liked what you said about various systems just being a roadmap.

Regarding the Saturn-Chiron-clash.
My best friend and her husband share this "Heartbreak"- clash as well as the "Magical linkage", the Venus-chiron-linkage.
So, they apparently have both, the best and the worst aspect (according to Magi), and it actually shows.
It`s not an easy relationship, and both suffered a bit of heartbreak along the way (her husband was in love with her for a while, when she only saw a friend in him; she was struggling with another relationship then, that was falling apart, and he stood at her side and was a friend, even though it must have hurt him to see how much she loved the other one, but he stayed with her, was a true friend and finally she realized, she loved him, too).
It`s not a very blissful marriage, they have their share of problems, but the thing is neither of them expects everlasting romantic bliss. They are very realistic and pragmatic persons. They even expect problems to be there along the way, and if they appear, they address them and fight them through, together.
Of course their love for one another helps them a lot, but I think the main thing that assists them is the fact that neither of them expects a relationship to be always full of joy; they like working on their relationship.
It`s not necessarily what others want in their relationships; but it works for them.
So I think it always depends on the persons involved and how they view life, if such a clash can break oyu or if you can make it.
The same with cosmodynes: My parents have very high negative scores (-3000, -1600), but they have been married for over 30 years now. And no, it`s not always harmony, they fight a lot with each other, but at the end of the day they simply love each other and are the best of friends, which helped them getting through all ups and downs together.

Just a tip for those who might not understand this bit:

When you get the 3 smaller screens the left reads Natal Input Data

-make sure this is either your data or the partner's

-click the box that says 2nd person

-now click on whoever you want compared to the 1st person

NOTE - its a lot easier if you go through first and enter info for each person on the left side and then click SAVE TO DISK so that their name shows up on the list of names

-when you click on the 2nd person you want to compare the first one with [meaning their data now shows up on the right], click OK

-the screen that comes up is the data for the first person -- you dont want this you want cosmodynes for their SYNASTRY

- to do this X out the first screen that comes up so that youre back to the turqoise page

-now click data

-select 2nd person

-select cosmodynes

[or just press "ctrl c", which is the shotcut]

Also, my venus scores with another person had his much higher than mine - In the beginning i loved him more but throughout his love grew and he ended up loving me when I had had it with the relationship and left.

I still want to compare more charts on this!

Ok, this is quite amazing! It sure explains a lot why my past relationships didn't work out and how each of us felt about it. I'm sure going to use this program from now on! Thanks, Jazzebel, for sharing it!

So if Venus is #1 in harmony column for both of us, that's a good sign, right? We scored a total of 4127,79; I guess I'm more into this relationship, I have 2325,02 and he has 1802,79... and that is true. There are some marriage indicators in the synastry, hehe... and I did had that feeling that I've met "the one", but I'm still worried about this (my Jupiter is negative in harmony). And I have another question: his Moon has the highest power, but it's negative in harmony... does this mean he values the most the emotional side of the relationship, but he thinks I'm insensitive? He did talk a lot about family, children... and I was like... hmmm... how about career? Damn!! But I'm glad I found out, now I can be more careful about it. Do you guys think we have a strong compatibility?

*I didn't click on the "use natal data" square the first time, so it gave me a different score because of the latitude and longitude. But it's ok now ~ make sure you check that one, you guys!

I have another question: why do the scores change if you change the house system? I changed it from Placidus to equal (AC) and the scores changed quite dramatically for some synastries. Aren't they based on aspects between planets? And the Asc doesn't change... So what's the deal?

You guys, don't give up! It didn't work for me, either, in the beginning. Just start over again and follow the instructions.

Diandra,

I think I know what you mean... Let's see. After you click input, click on your name in the name database. It will appear on the left window. Now, click the 2nd person square. And now click the name of your partner - it will appear in the right window. Click ok and after that, Data - 2nd person - Cosmodynes. (make sure you also check the "use natal data" square).

Taurus80,
Thank you! So very nice of you!!
I just checked for the DC, DC ruler, Juno, Isis, Osiris, Nodes and asteroid Karma in the synastry, composite, Davison and first meeting chart (and I compared all of these charts with each of the others). I found many aspects between these charts, but the most important indicator is mutuality - the aspects are double-whammy or they repeat in the comparisons.
The most impressive thing is that when we first laid eyes on each other, Venus was conjunct Valentine and the DC for that time, and also conjunct my natal Asc, conjunct his Sun-Moon midpoint, conjunct the composite Juno.
We have Juno conjunct Jupiter double-whammy in synastry (and I do consider this to be relevant, because Juno [Hera] was Jupiter's wife [Zeus]) and also in the composite. Our Junos are square, but also parallel. I should also mention I take parallels into consideration and interpret them as conjunctions.
And there is another factor I consider to be relevant: how important is the DC ruler (and the planets conjunct/parallel the DC) in the other one's chart. My DC ruler is the Moon - his Moon conjunct his Ascendant, so he has qualities I've always searched in a partner. His DC ruler is Neptune - my Neptune is parallel my Ascendant. He has Jupiter conjunct his DC - my Jupiter is parallel my Ascendant, as well. So I too have the qualities he searches in a partner.

It's all about the connections you make. No detail is too little, they are all relevant, since nothing happens randomly or without reason. So check everything. I hope this helped! Good luck in finding your marriage indicators!

thank you so much for your help.

just now i could get the cosmodynes!

showed 335,45 power and -6.20 harmony and those results are equal for me and him. Thsi maybe wrong ? it ´s just that when i went see his natal data and aspects all seamed well ( according to the astrodienst chart) but when i went looking for mine, some planets didnt stayed in the same houses as in astrodienst.
So, i dont know if this results are the right ones.
And i hope so cause are so negative

Kiss to all

Neat program...Thanks for the link!! But are you saying that if a person has a higher rank in Venus than the other partner, than that person will love the other more?? That doesn't really make any sense. Correct me if I'm wrong.
