I'm a gemini venus (with a virgo moon) and I would like to say that it drives me NUTS when sag influenced people miss important details, especially when they're telling you a story or something very important. My bf and close friend do this alot and........arrrghhh.  IP: Logged |

So, Blue Roamer, which sun sign are you really? Not one that can keep their lies straight, apparently. You obviously don't really like saggies or libras, or aqua's, yet you claim to be an Gemini Sun AND a saggie Sun. Why? So, you can badmouth them without getting flack? How cowardly! At least have the guts to be honest about your sun sign when criticizing other sun signs. Everyone else here does, and we can respect their opinion and honesty, even if we don't like what they're saying. You can add me to another aqua sun that you've had a run-in with. I'll gladly accept that badge of honor.  I can see why saggies and aquas are at odds with you, because neither likes a liar, and both can spot one. Also, neither like fake people, and they can spot them too. (I can't speak for Geminis, because I don't know them well enough.) I'd ask you what your real sun sign is, but you'd probably just lie again. Unbelievable. ------------------

I am a Sagittarian, and m best friend is a Gemini, and my brother in law with whom I get along very well is a Gemini too!We are both on two extremes of any given situation, but we get along just great. I don't have any idea why, neither do they! I am more interested in talking about spiritual and philosophical things, whereas they are interested more on the material plane of discussions. The seems to be loners, but are always in a huge group, whereas I am a loner even in a group of 100 people! They always seems to charge up any gatherings, but with me I don't get involved too much, but ironically without me, they say no gatherings or party is complete! So perhaps Gemini is the life of the party, but a Sagi may be the soul. As a Gemini they plan things way ahead and work it out, whereas as a Sagi I have a million plans, but end up taking up projects that are never planned and get involved with a million other projects! They can talk anyone into things, but I am so bad with words, but I am more of a strong willed person, and get things my way perhaps the luck factor, perhaps the lovable factor.
So overall, Geminis are more active on the material plane, and a Sagittarian is more active on the spiritual plane - but we do admire everything about both the parties!

Hey, I'm interested in the dynamics of the two coz my daughter is a gem (literally  ) and I'm a sag and I've always found there's a chemistry between the two signs. Sometimes a competitive one but I guess that could just be opposites n rivalry but also an admiration. Anyway, a very good combo I find. Both interested in the mental n intellectual but also a FUN coupling. I love geminis, not in the least bit biased hehe!!IP: Logged |

Gemini is an air sign that is ruled by Mercury and it is the lord of the 3rd house. While Sagittarius is a fire sign that is ruled by Jupiter and the lord of the 9th house.IP: Logged |

I like both signs but I find Gems childlike whereas sags are more "adult"
The gems I know are street smart. They know the best places to go for the cheapest food, and love to bargain hunt. They are sharp and aware of their surroundings. They will notice little things about what you are wearing etc and know a bit about everything. They will lie and gossip. They don't take much seriously. They are high strung and have lots of nervous energy. Short attention span.

I was married to a gemini, im a saggy....
He needed to label/over think everything and try to manipulate or force life
I needed time to feel things, to make sure they were taking us in a positive direction
He couldnt feel intuition, his intuition came from over thinking....which isnt intuition
He cant trust in a higher power, belief or God without a path, set out by someone else for him to follow, even if he hated that path and felt it wasnt really where God was at....he couldnt embarked on something new just off 'what feels right' in his heart
I dont think he could feel his heart or emotions unless it was extreme dramatic emotions, which is why i think so many Geminis are drama lovers, they want to feel something!
He only was able to feel his love for me after i left and he was so hurt he finally said how much he loved me, he never realized it before i left.
9 years later hes still single.....says he doesnt think he knows how to love and hasnt ever felt love for anyone but me.
I feel bad for him, i dont think this is uncommon for geminis!
Saggy's, suffer a similar issue but for a different reason, we dont attach to people out of fear of losing our freedom, we feel our connection to them but we choose not to get too emotionally attached to that connection....then when they give us plenty of freedom and leave we realize we kind of liked them taking up some of our time.IP: Logged |

Gemini is about gathering information, to interact and communicate, and the expansion of intellect/mind.Sagittarius is about reaching a higher awareness, forming one's wisdom and beliefs, philosophy, different cultures. While Gemini gathers information, Sagittarius syntethizes what is learned to achieve a higher place and awareness. Also, Gemini tend to be jack of all trades master of none, while Sagittarius tend to be specialized in a specific area. Gems listens to all while Sags discriminates what matters more. Both sides have strengths and weaknesses due to this thought - Gems might end up only absorbing information even if it's useless or meaningless; while Sags can be narrow minded and does not listen. Im a Gemini sun, Pisces moon, Sagittarius ascendent. My intuition is very good actually. I can look at anything and quickly understand how it works. I've also got a very good sense of how people feel, what the want, and how to make them smile. My communication is very good, I can feel peoples emotion just from the texts the send, how they word it. Passion burns in me! It burns as bright as that fiery orange orb in our sky. However, I'm very sensitive to emotions, I can't be around any negativity, at all. My childhood was quite hard. IP: Logged |

Huge difference, these two! 1. Gemini is intellectual, detached and seem calculated in their speech, Sags are philosophical, warm and instantly friendly in a non-fake way.
2. For Geminis everything is a mental competition and they get upset if you win. Sags couldn't care less, and laugh at themselves if you make fun of them.
3. Sags will say things like - being true to myself and honest is the most important thing in my life. Geminis will make no such claims and will try to adapt.
4. Sags will tell you exactly how they feeel, what they want you to do, and how they want you to treat them. Geminis will not, you'll have to guess or whatever.
5. Geminis seem cold, as much as they try to appear otherwise. They seem passionless. Sags are driven by passion and you can feel it in every word they say and every move they make.
6. Sexting with a Gemini looks like a conversation with your gynecologist - blah, blah, blah, this position does this, that one does that. Sexting with a Sagittarius is imaginative and intuitive - they feel exactly which card to play to make you want them.
Similarly, Geminis get upset if you turn them down - they either get nasty or they start apologizing. Sags just laugh it off.
7. Sags say the first thing that pops into their minds, they often seem chaotic and strange. Geminis rarely say what they really think.
8. Sags are weird. Period. Geminis try to appear weird, but are too intellectual to pull it off successfully.
9. Geminis have a strange habit of observing others wtihout getting involved. They like to come somewhere and watch how other people behave. Sags are doers - they'd rather join in the fun than observe.
