I don't know about Venus in Cap, but I do know about Venus in Cancer since my gf has her Venus in Cancer. I'm a Venus in Taurus.I would say that they definitely take their time and don't rush into relationships similar to Venus in Taurus and Cancer. I know that Venus in Cancer/Taurus really puts security at the top of their list as far as potential candidates. I wouldn't be surprised if Venus in Cap is the same way too. I would say that they're more romantic rather than spontaneous if I had to make a guess since that's the way that I am. As far as showing their love, I haven't a clue. I like to show love by giving people stuff, or giving in general. I also don't like to make things too complicated or overthink things. When it feels right it just feels right, if not, then it's probably not going to go very well and it also makes me scared too to even get involved. IP: Logged |

They're also cautious about entering into a new relationship, but if they are beginning one with you, rest assured that they already care very much about you. I guess you could say that Venus in Caps show their love in a relationship by being in the relationship! Most Venus in Caps value romantic relationships that have substance to them. We're not looking for flings, friends with benefits, casual dating...we want a connection that is genuine & will last. Since we know we want something deep while most people want someting lighter, we're very cautious about showing our interest until we're pretty certain that the other person wants the same type of relationship we do. So, while many people start seeing someone because of an initial attraction & then develop feelings for the other person during the course of the relationship, many Venus in Caps have developed deep feelings for the other person before they even are interested in starting the romantic relationship. That's what I meant by a Venus in Cap showing her feelings by being in the relationship. She wouldn't have started it if she didn't care about you very much already. Once in the relationship, I think the rest of a person's chart & her Venus aspects will shape how she shows her love. I have Venus trine Jupiter & Mars, so love goes hand in hand with playfulness and physical affection. The person you asked about may have his/her Venus harmoniously aspecting (sextile) Mars and his asc. This would make the person's loving nature comfortably linked with physical expression. Venus in Cap will show her love by being dependable. This placement will bring a subtlety &, as mcm said, economy to the person's romantic nature. But I also think that a relationship with a Venus in Cap becomes more romantic the longer it lasts. You know how they say that people with a strong Cap influence seem to become younger with age, that they start out serious & loosen up over time? I think most Venus in Caps enjoy romance but like it to be genuine, the gestures should be made b/c the feelings are real & already exist. This is different from too much romance at the beginning, which to Venus in Caps may seem phony. Oh, and we like gifts. Giving & getting. But, like everything else, not too much too soon or it seems superficial or like there's an ulterior motive to us. When I'm really into someone (I'm like this with my friends too), I like to give gifts, usually something that has a special meaning for us or something I made.
Would this be applicable to a man with Capricorn Rising and a 12th House Pisces Venus square Saturn, with a 3” orb? He has Sun trine Saturn by less than 1 degree, and Saturn in tight conjunction with His Midheaven too. ------------------ Cancer Rising 2nd House Leo Sun 3rd House Leo Mercury 6th House Sagittarius Moon & Pluto 1st House Cancer Venus & Mars 9th House Pisces Jupiter conjunct MC. I know you don't mean anything bad, but as a Venus in Cap female I find that a little offensive but that's on me because I shouldn't be taking it personally anyway. In my experience, and based on my observations and discussions with fellow Cap Venus (and Cap Moons), relationships are a big deal for us and so we tend to take some time in thinking whether someone is right for us to invest our energy in having a relationship with them. I presume your lady friend is taking her time as well, probably wondering you might be good enough for her to take seriously Unfortunately, that could be construed as stringing a person along, but if she really thinks you are worth the effort, then you're in for something real and long lasting.

Privately, I give my whole heart to my partner but I don't talk about our relationship with others. If you can fully trust the other enough to open up then Venus in Capricorn is loyal, consistent, affectionate and deeply romantic!------------------ Follow me on www.facebook.com/waxyjo fo regular updates on my articles and book readings. Beautifully put Jane, I love this reply and concur entirely :-)
