what about Mars,Moon,Mercury and Sun in Capricorn and Venus in pisces? I know someone with this placement,he is sometimes cold, sometimes caring, even if he is caring he is so careful of what he says,it's like he is walking on broken glasses all the time.

It's a "cold"er place for Venus, but Saturn is exalted in Libra and i think venus in capricorn gives a practical and stable view on relationships. It's obviously not for everyone but I think Venus in Cap, if not debilitated by poor aspects, can be a very comforting, stable lover. In my opinion it is way better than my crazy, paranoid, obsessive Venus in Scorpio. That could be the saturn transiting my venus talking, though.

Since being a stay at home mom I have worked numerous volunteer jobs on the side. So I'm not sure exactly how my placement fits the stereotype....although I have to say after 12 years of tenting (with 2 children in diapers) I do now love the luxury of a trailor when camping. I kind of always thought that this placement may say something about being monogamous (22 years of marriage and counting)

I can sooo relate to you Lady Neptune.

First of all.. I am quite Capricorn child. My Sun (3rd House), Saturn and Venus (2nd House) are all in Capricorn. Venus conjunct my natal Saturn. :|

I don't have children (yet) but after my parents divorced (I was 14) I took care for my little sisters supporting them emotionally, financially etc. I really work hard these days, in my mind I oft think about how to earn more money to help my family. I can buy expensive shoes for my sisters with no regrets but… when it comes down to me; I only occasionally spend money for myself, when and if it is needed. Sometimes I even fell guilty if I spend money on me!!

There were some comments here on how people with Venus in Cap. are gold-diggers (especially in 2nd House!) and I have read on internet much about it…

Now… I will be honest. I am attracted to successful men, but not because they would have lots of money but because of their view on life. BUT I am attracted to successful men only if I see that they created their success on their own, if they put effort in success, so that I know, they can handle all the stress and pressure that comes before (and with) success.

I too work hard so that one day I hopefully will have great career and I really want someone on my side, who know (possibly from experiences) how is it to be career oriented for the sake of financially stable future. Now, that doesn’t mean I only wish to have career. Not at all! I just want to be without financial worries when I will have my own family. I want to be able to raise my children in prosperous environment without worrying where I will find money to put food on a table.

For what is worth, when it comes to love, I take things very serious. Money is definitely not the key element in deciding whether someone is ‘datable’ or not. I am seeking for stability on all levels (emotionally, intellectually… and financially stability is just one of them. I basically just want to have guarantee, that love has a future. I really like, what paulflo wrote: ‘’We just want to know that we aren’t wasting our time and that our love has a future.’’

I think that everyone who describe Venus-Capricorn people as gold-digging parasites, obviously have had a bad experience with woman/man with this natal position. I am truly sorry for that. But let me assure you, it’s not Venus in Capricorn to blame. You can’t judge people only by looking at one aspect…

Some of the replies on this thread written by men about women are downright misogynistic. I'm really surprised that such hateful, abusive comments (such calling women "parasites"...really?) are allowed on a website like this. I'm disappointed in the moderators. Comments contain abusive language and promote prejudice (whether it be sexism, racism, homophobia, ect.) shouldn't be tolerated.

I have never spoken about men the way some of these guys speak about women because I know it's offensive and hateful. But evidently this website has no issues with users who call women "parasites" and "prostitutes".

It's also a two year old thread... :-/

Perhaps a little past the time to worry about it?

I will tend to fight Venus in Capricorn. Men with this placement are very nitpicky around the home and especially so with the washing-up :P They are also insistent that as a woman one should have kids because one "has to" - never mind that you might not like the idea. They think one should own one's own house, never mind that it might get flattened by flash floods, Hugh winds or Acts of God tomorrow. That thought simply doesn't occur to them. I have a lot of Gemini and Pisces, so not such a stick up my back - but I do tend to attract these guys - no idea why (Capricorn in 4th/5th?), and I have to put in some major effort to get on (mostly from my Mutable side - my Aries side really grates with Capricorn - I want to tell them to get over themselves, and am frequently cheeky. This goes for Capricorn Mooners too.)

Women with Venus in Cap I find tend to be ever so snobby, not very imaginative or deviating from what is supposedly "normal".
