Venus kind of rules how we express appreciation, and also has alot to do with the way we handle money. I realised something the other day about what is one of my favourite signs - Capricorn. That the Venus position ain't that great! For instance, the expression of love and affection is greatly reduced in this sign in order to maintain control. Little games are played by both the woman and men with this position. The phrase 'trying to get blood out of a stone' must have been invented for these people. Furthermore if they realise they've given out too much positve reinforcement, they quickly reel some of it back in, if you get me. This manifestation is the same with money too. They're extremely tight and cautious with money I knew one guy who would go so tight he shouted at me because i turned on his gas hob to make a pancake! I mean we're talking mean here!!!! ------------------ ASC: Vırgo

I don't know.. I've heard all of this said about Capricorn Moon as well and it doesn't apply to me. (my Mars is in Capricorn also.. Venus isn't)I'm not tight fisted at all. I've often helped my friends out financially. When it comes to compliments.. I only give out compliments I genuinely mean.. I don't normally throw compliments around for the sake of it, but I don't criticize for the sake of it, either. I definitely have a soft spot for men with a Capricorn Venus, but I'm completely biased on that one lol IP: Logged |

i agree with belg on this. The woman for example with Venus in Capricorn are gold-digging charletons as far as i'm concerned. Frankly i think it's tantamount to being a prostitute.------------------ 4th December 1974 18:00GMT Isle of Wight U.K marsconjunctmercury@yahoo.co.uk neutralcruiser@hotmail.co.uk IP: Logged |

I have my Sun/Moon/AC in Cap and I've been known to help out people easily too - though no Cap Venus here. Why all the hatred aimed at these people solely based on the Capricorn placement? Acoustic posted a similar question in another thread which turned out similarly as well. Now I'm getting curious here. What's so evil about us people with Cap placements? IP: Logged |

My mom has a Cappy Venus. She's rather eclectic and frugal BUT she would have no hesitation spending money in something that is of excellent quality and certainly long-lasting. In my experience, a Cappy Venus instead of buying something cheap and affordable from -say- Walmart, she'll go for Chanel and Dior. Cappy Venus is extremely picky and goes for quality and status. Now Cappy Moon, they like the luxuries! They're willing to pay big bucks for the things they like.IP: Logged |

Wtf?!!? "The woman for example with Venus in Capricorn are gold-digging charletons as far as i'm concerned. Frankly i think it's tantamount to being a prostitute." & "Cappy Venus is extremely picky and goes for quality and status." I am NOT. You can't just put 1/12 population into one category and tell them what they're like!! This is REDICULOUS. I'm not like the two of you says, and I don't think astrology says so either. I DO look for an intelligent partner because I want someone that I can really TALK TO, and excuse me if they tend to end up making money. Not my fault. I don't even know if I WANT money. Money makes you spoilt, and I don't like that. Oh btw, I'm not into luxury or status either. So don't you come and tell me what I'm like cos it's not true. IP: Logged |

What's wrong with being picky? I'm talking from my experience with people from my environment (parents/friends) and that's what they've shown to me so far. I'm not putting a "tag" on everyone who has a Cappy Moon/Venus. I said "in my experience". Cranky today? Oh and it's "ridiculous". (sorry for that) IP: Logged |

I know just one person with a Vanus in Capricorn (Moon in Capricorn too), and i can confirm he's extremely tight with spending his money and very trifty as well. I found that quite disgusting about him.IP: Logged |

Porky, there are things we can not control , but being fat like you is something you can control, so I suggest that instead of you spending so much time on here, you should go outside and run for 30 minutes everyday. While you are at it get your teeth fixed, and also a nose job. IP: Logged |

Heeeey, would everybody please stop being so nasty to eachother?! I'm sorry, but it's really childish to bring up something like appearance. If you wanna be mean, the least thing you can do is attack the personality.IP: Logged |

I don't have this placement, but ...What if you had Venus in Capricorn in the 7th house? That would make your Venus focused on others, would it not? Would be much different than say Venus in Capricorn in the 2nd house. IP: Logged |

I am just trying to be helpful. For somebody who thinks she can rule the world she should make herself perfect, I am just honest, I can not change that about myself. BTW this is between me and fatso, so stay out of it. IP: Logged |

If you're having a bad day, why don't you stay out of here? Go out for a walk, eat something nice, work out, watch your favorite shows, take your meds, etc. And if you wanna really be helpful but can't help not being blunt about certain things that annoy you, there are many ways to do so without being offensive and disrespectful. No need to turn into a forum troll.IP: Logged |

Hate to ruin the stereotype but I have Venus in Capricorn in the 2nd house and I worked (sometimes supporting my husband) until I had children and since then I have spent frugally and wisely to benefit my family....only spending on myself if there was any left over after everyone else was taken care of. Since being a stay at home mom I have worked numerous volunteer jobs on the side. So I'm not sure exactly how my placement fits the stereotype....although I have to say after 12 years of tenting (with 2 children in diapers) I do now love the luxury of a trailor when camping. I kind of always thought that this placement may say something about being monogamous (22 years of marriage and counting)IP: Logged |

Thanks....I should also add that a couple of years ago my husband lost his business and ruined both of our credit ratings and we faced it together so I think if I had any gold digging tendencies I would have bolted then.IP: Logged |
