This site might have been posted before. I noticed a couple 'color' threads lately. [in FFA] Seems peeps are interested right now. Last year I checked the book out. It is pretty accurate. Me? Azure Blue:

- Intense
- Charismatic
P.S. Be sure to click on the month first ~ then find your date.

Very interesting, although I'm not too fond of my "color"...it's Henna,a muddy red-brown color. But the description fits:**May 17** "You often feel driven & have a definated mission in life. You take on your desires w/ complete conviction & fervor.Although you are passionate, you also have a gentle quality that people may not see.You are intuitive & have an awareness that can be used to acheive your goals.Your home life is important to you.Your personal color helps you stay balanced and calm when you're avid about something..." ------------------ S:Taurus ASC:Gemini M:Scorpio ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Be Kinder Than Necessary,For Everyone You Meet Is Fighting Some Kind of Battle..." Node, that site is so cool!! I've been fascinated with color and its affects on mood and thought patterns. I've never heard of a bunch of the shades listed there. Mine, for instance, is Amaranth. Had to look it up. It's a dark reddish-purple (beautiful!!) A flower that never fades; undying. It even listed a weed called "pigweeds". lol Very cool!! Spry the Spy

Dec 26 LARKSPUR PANTONE 17-4421 Complex Courageous RestlessIT IS best for you to be in a position of authority. It is not a great idea for you to be following someone else's rules. Courageous and complex, you are not always easily understood. You want to know what makes things tick. You are concerned about the core of a situation not in the appearance of things. Part of your challenge is to learn how to work with a partner. Receptivity and diplomacy are needed in your exchanges with others. Wearing, meditating or surrounding yourself with the color Larkspur helps you combine your depth with subtlety and grace. quote: you are not always easily understood.
Understatement of the year. Interesting: The only team and sport that I actually watch is Sharks hockey: Notice the team color. ...and us beating last year's Stanley Cup winner tonight. ________________________________________________________________________________________ How I Got the Color Block: I went to Pantone's site, and did a search on the color. Printed the screen since I couldn't save the picture. Imported prtscrn into Macromedia Fireworks. Used the eyedropper to steal the color (357B91 in firework's color scheme), and drop it in a new square. Exported my Larkspur square image. Uploaded to Photobucket. Viola! IP: Logged |

Also interesting: My eye color: hazel - blue and greenMy mom's birthday description: "You are not one to follow someone else's drum beat." My dad's: "Staying within the status quo and being average is not for you." Mine: "It is not a great idea for you to be following someone else's rules." My siblings don't share this sense of individuality according to that site. IP: Logged |

I find it interesting to note that the day after my bday lists 3 words that others have used to describe me. The one listed for my bf is very accurate, too. His is Spicy Coral, and he is definitely one spicy meatball!

Thanks for showing your ‘colors’ everyone! Color fascination goes way back for me. In grade school [elementary school in some states] I learned about color in a non-supervised way. Laughs. A friend and I decided one day to ‘skip’ recess. We hid in the coat closet while the rest of the class filed outside with our teacher. [he never noticed] My friend and I headed stealthily to the art room. The storeroom there was filled with paints in plastic jars… that if memory serves- held about a pint of fluid. We then proceeded to pour paint into the sink to see what colors we could achieve. This is how I learned to ‘make’ colors. And brown was found quite quickly! Yes, we did skip recess once more…that time we went through his desk and read our files. I remember colors in all our houses… that my Mom doesn't remember. She’s like - how do you remember that?? [we moved a lot Military father.] I love color, and the representation that is etched in all our eyes [especially third eye] One of these days we should do an aura thread. I am tickled pink that some of you were interested enough to explore your color [s] AG- you even went to the Pantone site! Good for you! Did you find the descriptions accurate for your siblings? Thank you for sharing your examples of resonance w/ your color. So far with the posts here, and FFA we have a stand-alone from the Green family. SilverFairy= Lily Green. The dominant family seems to be Blue . I Googled everyone’s color and found some fascinating spirals. Storm Blue etc. Spry: when playing on the site, and when I had the book I noticed Amaranth and looked it up too! And YFIS: My home screen for LL has no color boarder, but work screens do. Connection? ISP? I’ve never figured that out. p.s my month color is Cayenne * color of the Year: CARLSTADT, N.J. - January 16, 2007 - Pantone, Inc., the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards for the design industries, selects PANTONE 19-1557 Chili Pepper, a deep, spicy red, as the color of the year for 2007. This engaging, resonant hue strikes a high note for fashion and personal expression as its boldness is appealingly eye-catching, sophisticated and enticing. In a time when personality is reflected in everything from a cell phone to a Web page on a social networking site, Chili Pepper connotes an outgoing, confident, design-savvy attitude.
color of the day - MISTY ROSE PANTONE 15-1512UNUSUAL DYNAMIC CLEVER 09 22 07 Pantone is also quite involved in Monitor Calibration for comps, in fact they are everywhere! IP: Logged |

Yes, absolutely. The description of myself matches myself pretty well, so I looked at my whole family. Feb 11th - Seems accurate, but it also seems lacking. I'd have liked it to have been more detailed. She is feisty, but also very into relating and relationships. April 6th - Has a music degree. Certainly doesn't act like a typical Aries. She is nurturing and demure. April 7th - Since this description points out a certain degree of a hidden nature, I can only assume that this is correct. Aug 19th - The baby of the family. He is certainly a favorite amongst his peers, and a bit of a social performer. The loving nature certainly suits him. He is engaging and interested. My girlfriend likes her color as well. Crimson. (late April-born baby) That stands to reason. When I use red, or red-related colours such as pink, for that matter, in my artwork, I always have success. X IP: Logged |

Hi Mme Node I went to the Pantone site but couldn't find 15-3909..... ??? I don't like "my" color -- I object!! I'm taking this to the Authorities!! Either Pantone is going to have to give me a more acceptable color, or I'll..... I'll..... I'll think of something (Bleah. Poo. Puke.) What an inordinately insipid color. It ought to be ashamed to be called Blue!! Bah. IP: Logged |

‘Zala! I snorted my Kim Chee reading that! The rental-cops are already working on a disturbance from a Oct 4 Lady. [whose color is quite like your’s BTW] we only have one pair of restraints so you will have to wait your turn….here is a pretty wood block to put between your teeth! Such vehemence from the normally laid back Libra‘s! Poor dear’s Your interp’s were pretty cool though? [ the long version not nec. the keywords.] On my screen your color reads in the Violet range to me. A pearly gray with a hint of blue/red to lead it into a classy color. Sorry you don’t like it. Grins. *edit and anyone w/ a YOD like your's deserves a 'Cosmic' color!IP: Logged |
