I am infatuated with astrology and it's a huge hobby for me. I love to do people's charts and tell them about it, guess their sign(s) and etc. Basically I am an astrology junkie as we all are here in Linda Land. However I refuse to believe that horoscopes are on the point exact. I've never had an experience where my horoscope was right or even close. Occasionally, due to transits and the actual horoscope pointing out a current planet's position ends up being close but it is to me, just stating the obvious. What are your thoughts? ------------------ I love my Virgo <3 S: Aries ASC: Libra M: Cancer V: Taurus M: Gemini IP: Logged |

It kind of depends on how the horoscope is cast. I think recently someone was going on about Susan Miller's horoscopes. I checked those out, and they actually have some basis in traditional astrology, so I can give the . http://www.astrologyzone.com/forecasts/ IP: Logged |

Hi there Babeefoxx- What is the difference between "horoscope" and "astrology"? Ate you referring to newspaper-type daily features? I am an astro junkie as well but on the receiving end. astrological insight has validated my history enabling healing and empathy. I will gladly offer myself up as a research model because validation, empathy, and healing should be good during my current 2nd Saturn Return. So, would astrology be more closely linked to astronomy? and horoscope more to psychology? Because people on Lindaland have responded to my astrology questions in their own words (perhaps with an article added on) and took time to interact with me as a singular human (astrology) and not merely one of a mass(horoscope), i have been taught, walked, welcomed, allowed and refined. For some reason that is how I see the difference. Right now I have been looking at my Astrodienst progressed chart. My sun has changed signs and houses-from 7th to 8th in Taurus with Venus and mercury which is a Stellium of secrets revealed(?) and inheritance(?) Both figure HUGELY in my life right now-also transit Mars oppose Saturn inviting possible physical attack. It seems a huge upheaval will concern me within months...okay this is the stuff i consider astrology..more personal? Maybe I've got it backward. So, some offers for answers and some answers, too. Bye for now, tuxedo Meow IP: Logged |

I don't know, for one thing, I do like reading horoscopes from Astro.com because they cater to you exclusively. But I know that a lot of things can be happening, and what astrologer actually has the time to really sit down and write every little detail of a passing day to a billion number of people? They have to be a superhuman! It'll be incredibly exhausting even for a professional astrologer or a horoscopist(word?) to check each person's planetary alignments and aspects for a day. A day! That's easily a waste of their time. Most horoscopes can be just baloney anyway because of pseudo-astrologers who haven't gone much into transits and what not. I really should check out Miller, everybody has been raving about her horoscopes! IP: Logged |

I also read Peeny Thornton's Astrolutely. But you are right, when you say that sometimes with the transits the forecasts turn out to be close, never right on all the time. I am a Scorp and all the websites have ben declaring great things to happen in my love life for a while now. My lovelife is dead as a doorknob and not because I am not going out and making the effort. Take astrology with a pinch of salt.IP: Logged |
