For instance: Is a person more inclined to fall in love with the person who has planets is their 8th house, or vice-versa? --Sorry for being a "0ne note" samba...but I am obviously obsessed. If not, what are the planetary interactions most common when two people fall in love?IP: Logged |

8th house doesnt mean love. just like 11th house doesnt mean lack of love. theres more to it than this and you know it. ive known some people who touched my 8th house, and "love" was far from how i felt..probably the opposite. IP: Logged |

BLKFox ~Falling in love is such an individual thing..... You can fall in love with someone who has personal planets in your 6th or 12th house too. I think we fall in love with human spirits, not with the positions of orbiting balls of gas and rock in the solar system And I also think we bring a lot more to the table than our current astrological charts (such as past-life contacts). And you cannot tell from a natal chart how mature or evolved the person it belongs to is..... I have seen synastry charts here at LL that make my teeth hurt -- they have every textbook aspect that should make the relationship go swimmingly but can't seem to make it work. In the end..... From Steven Forrest: http://www.stevenforrest.com/lovehandles.html To me, in the realities of the astrological counselling room, there are two immutable premises: There is no manner of astrological interaction between two people that is so inherently sweet that enough selfishness, confusion about sex, or immaturity cannot turn it sour. There is no manner of astrological interaction between two people that is so inherently bitter that enough patience, devotion, and humility can not only make it last, but make it something precious to both people. I don`t think you can really "predict" when you will be falling in love. Often it depends very much on your own mental and emotional condition. If you`re not open to falling in love, you won`t, no matter how inclined the stars are. However, Paul Westran made an impressive study on progressed synastry, and he found out that most relationships begin, when Progressed Venus is conjunct / opposite / trine progressed or natal Sun, Venus, Mars, or if natal Venus is conjunct / opposite / trine progressed Sun, Venus, Mars. Personally I`d add the ASC-DSC-axis to that. And I have found that to be true in every case I researched. But, and that is a big But, I`m convinced you can have all these progressions (preferably triggered my progressed Moon and Transits, because they are fast moving) without falling in love with a person. Maybe all you`ll feel will be a certain sympathy for them, not more. Also, I`d watch out for transitis / Progressions to your ruler of 7th or 5th house; it could indicate a time when you are more open to falling in love (with a person or maybe even a hobby). But like always it depends on the natal chart as a whole. I once met a guy with whom I shared an exact Moon-Venus-conjunction. Did we fall in love? No way. He was more emotional around me than with others (it was his moon), but did he like it? No, he didn`t like to be emotional, and so that "triggering of emotions" did turn to antipathy towards me. so, I think you can (maybe) see if you touch someone emotionally, but which way it will take, love or antipathy - that`s hard to tell.

I think you have to check your natal chart and aspects to your natal venus form with your outer planets. Your chart shows the pattern of the way you tend to fall in love. As soon as one of your natal aspects are triggered by transit planets, someone exciting enters your life. With me is my Venus/Uranus conjunction squaring to Mars. I've noticed that whenever I meet someone that I get infatuated with, this Venus/Uranus conjunction squaring Mars thing is involved. IP: Logged |
