I was researching the planets in the different houses, and came across this description for Neptune in the 6th house:You may have an abnormal sensitivity to drugs, alcohol, and medications and you should be cautious in this regard. I can't take the recommended dosage of anything; even ibruprofen makes me groggy, disoriented, and I ultimately pass out. Not to mention my half a beer limit. Anyone else have this? Any idea how Neptune in sag would affect this? IP: Logged |

this house placement can also show "misdiagnosed" or "hard to diagnose" illnesses as well.IP: Logged |

Yes, I have Neptune in 6th and I have the same Ibuprofen reaction. I have a health issue that's very painful right now and 2 different doctors are having a hard time diagnosing it, so I have to take 3 advil at a time every 5 hours for almost 2 weeks out of every month. Any other pain killer puts me to sleep and makes me useless.Yes, I already know that much advil is not good for you, no need in anyone telling me that now, but it's better than the alternatives until my diagnosis becomes clear. It makes me groggy also, but I've learned to deal with it. I also have half a beer limits and half a wine glass limits, now I can barely tolerate alcohol anymore. I call myself "a cheap date". My Neptune is in Scorpio, I would imagine that Neptune in the 6th in Sagittarius might have a more sensitive impact on the liver due to Jupiter's rulership of Sagittarius. I really could be wrong with that, I'm just not concentrating well on Sagittarius health issues. I'm on the high dosage of Advil right now. Lastly, both doctors have recommended hormones for me to help control the problem or to help diagnose the problem and I have refused. I have too many relatives who had cancer related to the endocrin system and I refuse to take hormones. I do my best with holistic remedies. My Moon in Pisces conjunct Mars in Aquarius in 6th square Neptune in Sagittarius in 3rd.........I can relate to all the Neptune in 6th stuff....I guess its because my 6th house is Neptune-influenced by not only having Moon in Pisces in 6th but also Neptune aspecting the planets in 6th house.I am definitely hypersensitive to medications....heck...SSRI's made me temporarily impotent, and so did Effexor. Also the medications for anxiety,Klonopin made me too sleepy. Herbal remedies, Chamomile,St. John's Wort, and Valerian Root have a strong effect on me. I was definitely misdiagnosed by psychiatrists....misdiagnosing my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia,ADHD as schizoaffective bipolar disorder which I feel shaped my life as an advocate for those conditions and mental health human rights activist.

Geo, is it fibroids?? I felt like I had a bowling ball in my abdomen for a few months. Neptune is transiting my 6th house currently, and I had issues with diagnosis/surgery a couple years ago.....IP: Logged |

I also wonder about disorganization which is symptom of Dyslexia,Dyspraxia,ADHD as well as schizophrenia of the disorganized type and bipolar.I am disorganized with my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia,ADHD......it was my disorganization(losing the paper of the directions of getting back to my aunts house resulting in me getting lost, and the disorganization of my speech)that got me misdiagnosed as schizoaffective bipolar by psychiatrists. Also many ADHDers have problems with daily routine, mundane things because they tend to be novelty-seekers...Dyspraxics tend to have problems with those things due to their planning/coordination issues. I can strongly relate to those issues.

Wow. Thank you for your replies. I can absolutely sympathize with you. My sensitivities to foods, sugars, alcohol, caffeine, prescription drugs, you name it, have always left me feeling that it must be in my head...something that I overcame once I really starting researching and paying attention to my diet. Now I know that if I have some weird physical reaction, it isn't me, it is what I ingested, and that it will pass at some point. Definitely much better for my peace of mind.I still remember the slurred speech, disorientation, and feeling that the world was spinning around me...all which have stopped since I quit eating fried foods, processed foods, hot sauce (sigh), raw onions, pasta, sweets, etc. No one in my family could understand my reactions, they all thought I was being weird. Of course, explaining to them that it is my Neptune in the 6th house, well, I'm sure I'd get the same reaction. IP: Logged |

Another Neptune in Sagi in the 6th here. Very sensitive to meds and other things also. This placement causes sensitivity in other areas too. Here's a couple lines from the book A Spiritual Approach to Astrology (Lofthus) - Neptune in the 6th House: "Extremely sensitive, which opens them to unusual health difficulties. Are psychic sponges absorbing the atmosphere around them. Respond best to herbal methods of healing and to the transformation of their thoughts." IP: Logged |

I also have Neptune in 6th house...and everything that people have posted already about it is very true. Abnormal sensitivity to any sort of aspirin or alcohol, and when I have to take Advil usually it's bedtime for me lol! Food also effects me quite abit as well...being emotional and physically sensitive really sucks!------------------ Sun in Libra Moon in Cancer Jupiter in Cancer Venus in Virgo Mars in Cancer Ascendant in Cancer "I seem to have the blind self-acceptance of the eccentric who can't conceive that his eccentricities are not clearly understood" IP: Logged |

Azalaksh,Yes, I have fibroid tumors, I'm like a factory. Already had 2 surgeries, but they are mainly under control now, but now I'm left with some painful symptoms within the same area after my second surgery, it's worse than having the tumors, more painful to the point where it practically puts me out of commission. Accupuncture helps, but with accupuncture I find it difficult to coordinate my time with work. After the aggressive accupuncture treatment I need to take a nap right after so I can't go to work right after. There's got to be a way and I'm dealing with it. Hi,I have Neptune in 6th house, in Scorpio. Naturally I don't drink coffee/beer/alcohol (because since I was young, I believed that they are not good for health and they are not tasty to me) so I don't know whether I will have problem if I drink them. So far I haven't got any serious health issue so I don't get misdiagnosed. I hardly take medicine because I rarely get sick. I however do have serious allergy (problems with nose, serious sneezing, and with skin), and I just live with it, I don't take medicine for it. IP: Logged |

I have Neptune conjunct Uranus in 6th (in Capricorn) i read somewhere it might give issues with skin that tend not to be diagnosed correctly and so on- i have had acne that dermatologists simply always mistreated (didn't prescribe right things) only after I started googling and self-treating my face got 10x better 😏Also I just recently started taking probiotics and my digestion finally started functioning, my metabolism is sloooow (6th house is digestion isn't it, in Capricorn i suppose slow) I am allergic to humidity, I have some type of skin fungus that appears all of a sudden and then disappears i don't know what triggers it, I take care of hygiene IP: Logged |
