Hi everyone,
Not sure if you know, but there is a grand cross (not very tight, but I would still call it a grand cross because it is noticable) of 1) Saturn opposite Uranus 2) Mars opposite Pluto 3) Mars and Pluto both square Saturn and Uranus

Transits:
Saturn in 8*Virgo
Uranus in 15* Pisces
Mars (retro) in 29* Gemini
Pluto in 29* Sag

The Saturn-Uranus opposition will get tighter and continue into next year. Mars will continue to retro for a while as well.

I checked my chart to see where these planets are right now, and amazingly they are ALL conjunct my major angles within a 10* orb. Which means, I have the cross splaying out over my AC/DC and IC/MC line pretty tightly. Eeek! I have Gemini AC, so I imagine anyone with this has the same thing, with orbs only being a difference.

Can anyone interpret what this could mean?

Hi moonstar- check out this page http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/014975.html
Here is a chart for 1/1/08
Look at the chart Neptune Love posted in the above link. See how the 90 degrees are connected with the oppositions> also 2 rules of thought about using angles to complete the square included.

Hi Node,
Thanks for the chart & link.
I have heard of grand crosses & T-squares before, in terms of providing constructive action from the friction they create. It's like being angry or something's 'getting to you' and you find a way to deal with it by taking action.

For Mutable Grand cross:

MUTABLE. Mutable signs are focused on healing and reasoning. The focus gets directed based on whether the individual has the ability to integrate thoughts and feelings (Gemini), organized concepts and healing (Virgo), diversity and wisdom (Sagittarius), compassion and spirit (Pisces). Mutable signs, similar to Cardinal signs, are easily scattered and disjointed when under pressure. While Fixed signs have no difficulty staying focused, the main challenge for individuals with a Mutable Grand Cross can be the inability to gather their thoughts into a collective cohesion of ideas. Learning how to sustain a sense of balance and coordination should be the Mutable Grand Cross individual's goal. The Mutable Grand Cross individuals gain the most when they learn how to juggle their activities while maintaining a sense of consistency relative to the planetary placements in their chart. The inclination of the Mutable signs is to remain adaptable and flexible. When transiting aspects trigger the Mutable Grand Cross, the impulse of the four planetary energies is to transform; to adjust, and to avoid any obstacle that has just been placed before it. The four energies scatter in different directions in an disconcerted effort to find homeostasis. The problem is not in the desire to change. The problem arises from the non-unified reactions of the planets.

This clears things up a bit, but do you have any idea of the meaning of this cross on the major angles? I am looking for an interpretation of this transit.

This is my take on it (I live in the US):

The Saturn-Uranus opposition in these signs is already being seen - Virgo-Pisces are signs related to hospitals, health and well-being. It relates to good hygiene. I have been seeing 100 calorie bars of our common favorite snacks more often lately, from Twix to Betty Crocker to Hostess cupcakes. I think we are finally 'waking up' to accepting healthier alternatives in our lives.

Mars-Pluto opposition is definately a conflict aspect. Military and battles are what it primarily defines. Since it in the late sign of Gem-Sag again, major topics of media/journalism on foreign relations come up again this time, as we are seeing with Pakistan reporting.

For the U.S, seems that domestic issues will rule again with the elections coming up. Mars goes back and forth between Gem and Cancer, Pluto enters Capricorn soon and another Mars/Pluto opposition will be underway sometime next year.

However it will be interesting this time as health and well-being will be a major focus as well. In the past few years, U.S went beyond its reach in foreign relations. In the next few years following the Saturn/Uranus opposition, we will start to return back to our own infrastructure. The last Mars/Pluto opposition next year will be like the last Hurrah! on concentrating military efforts and the U.S interest in foreign battles. It may get worse again. Eventually, Mars will move on though and Pluto in Capricorn will trine Saturn in Virgo. I predict the current focus of the U.S will be shifting by 2009, when the Saturn/Uranus/Pluto combination become tighter than ever. There are several things that are disorganized in the US, made worse from the disorganized war efforts as well. I have usually thought of Capricorn and Virgo as one of the clean-cut signs - they play by the rules and clean up their messes. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. And with the Saturn trine Pluto aspect, the clearing out of the messes in the past few years will be very good - karmically as well.
