Venus Aquarius attracts by:being rebellious or naughty, quirky, and behaving bright and sparkly. In contrast to intense or powerful like Scorpio, or dreamy or imaginative like Pisces. When the Venus is "on", they want to attract by being different or contrary to the norm in matters of love, and self esteem. So a conventional romantic dinner to kick things off, would not be their thing. They appear detached, TO SOME, because they live in a conceptual, and objective world that blows around, and is not contained on the more subjective planes of dense matter or water. So to speak. They want to find someone on their wavelength who can blow around in that conceptual world with them, where they are *wishing* to be able to tune in, and capture, flashes of intriguing insight.. This is what is at the core of the friendship idea. Or someone who can at least, be insightful enough to understand what they are doing, and respect it - ie, doesn't try to contain them, and thereby interfere with the incoming signals, lol. They want to connect dots of many, not go deeply in only few, like Scorpio. And Aquarius is all about ideas. With some, the kookier the better  They would only be turned on if you were to wonder if they were either mental or a genius.
