I have Sun in Libra in my 12th House. At times I feel as though I am carrying the weight of the world... I can't stop "reading" people (on a psychic level)--it is a real burden! I would simply like to be superficial & smiley instead of having every experience get "heavy"Anyone have any insight into the 12th House mentality?? Let's hear it.... IP: Logged |

I'm 12th house Aries and it's a mystery. It's one of the reasons I didn't believe astrology for a very long time. I couldn't see even the most basic Aries characteristics in myself, especially since my brother is also an Aries with Mars conjunct his Sun. Can you say the King of Aries?? So, I can barely see my Aries qualities. But I feel like your weight of the world stuff has to do with something else in your chart. Does Pluto aspect your Sun in any way? ------------------ "Everybody is a star!" Sly & The Family Stone IP: Logged |

That's not quite what I was looking for, although that woman you confessed your undying love to would find herself to be very lucky in the romance department with you, if she's up to it. What I was trying to find out was the cause of you feeling the weight of the world is on your shoulders. If Pluto was in contact with your Sun, Pluto creates a kind of pressure on your Sun. Hmm....maybe it is the Pluto-Mars conjunction. Does Mars rule your 7th house? (edit - I meant to say The 7th House) isn't just your significant other, it's partnerships in the world, but to expand that definition it can also just be considered the house of "Others", as in "everybody else in the world" That Pluto pressure on your Mars could add to that. Does Pluto aspect anything else in your chart? Saturn suggests things that are heavy, what is Saturn relating to in your chart? IP: Logged |

Hi Tealogist,I totally relate to the privacy, I'm always locking doors behind me. I love to isolate and hardly ever feel lonely about it. How do you reconcile having a 12th house Moon in Leo? Moon in Leo needs an audience and applause, honors and respect. How can you be out in front and behind the scenes at the same time? I asked this same question of a man who had a strong stellium in Scorpio in the 7th house. He said he always tried to hide in Scorpio, but at the age of 40 he is now very interested in running for Congress and his Scorpionic instincts are turning around, becoming more of the Phoenix rising from the ashes, leaving the Scorpion behind. It's so fascinating. IP: Logged |

Your reply is fascinating. It teaches a lot about synthesizing supposed opposites. At some point all of my fashion desires got squashed but I don't think it's superficial at all. Fashion is art that you wear, it's functional (most of the time). It makes loads of sense to me about the writing, you can be a well known author, and many people won't even know what the author looks like. Hmm...that's a great example. IP: Logged |

Geo, My 7th house is Aries, I believe Mars IS the ruler....Saturn in Virgo is in my 12th along with my Sun....Also, maybe it's that darn Moon conj Jupiter in Cap in my 4th house...maybe I just need some Lithium!Tea, my childhood was rather chaotic also. My parents separated when I was very young, & I was shuffled around from my mother's to my paternal grandparents (they did not get along). I have such a weird thing about privacy! I'm surprized I've EVER been able to have a "live in" relationship. I believe the need to isolate has grown as I've gotten older...I don't like people knowing my business, or commenting on what I do, or, as I've said, scheduling me. ---All this with Libra Sun, Asc, Merc(retro in natal & Neptune...which makes me want to be social IP: Logged |

Hi BLKFox,I think Saturn in the 12th is your culprit for your heavy feeling. Saturn in the 12th can be difficult and in Virgo it affects you cerebrally, so I think that could be your depression. It could be hidden issues about Dad and/or authority figures, thus the feeling of "I don't like anyone telling me what to do." I've got some of that. But, your Moon-Jupiter conjunction is a gift, not a burden, so don't be talkin' smack about your Moon-Jupiter conjunction LOL!! Sorry, I don't mean to tell you what to do, but it's a reward aspect. It's almost as if God said, "Wow, I'm giving this guy Saturn in the 12th, but I have to give him the antidote, too. OK, I'll give him Moon conjunct Jupiter, but he has to figure it out for himself, just like everybody else." God did the same thing to me. He gave me Moon in Cancer square Saturn in Aries. Thanks for nothin'. But he gave me the antidote in my Sun-Jupiter square, that's a reward also. So when people ask me why I don't cook and have 18 children, because I should with a Moon in Cancer, I tell them that God squashed it all with Saturn squaring my Moon, so I don't have any kids yet, and don't be askin' me to cook, cause you'll get cereal and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for your trouble. LOL!!! And the phone number for pizza delivery. If you have Libra/Aries as your ASC/DC axis, you might have Cancer/Capricorn MC Axis. So I wonder what your profession is, a cook, a nurse, a teacher, nutritionist, Obstetrician, hmm...? Whatever you do, you work hard, maybe even a workaholic. Writer? IP: Logged |

My Mom has Sun in Gemini in 12th trine Neptune in Libra in 5th,sextile Pluto in Leo in 3rd, and well.....the traditional 12th house things fit her.....she's been in jail, psychiatric institutions, drug/alcohol rehab.....she's ultrasensitive....she has other things that indicate like an excess amount of planets/points in watersigns.she has chronic health problems according to what Noel Tyl says that 12th has to do with chronic health issues Sun also has to do with important men in one's life...fit with animus. her father was an alcoholic and had done drugs, and he committed suicide.....he had Moon in Pisces like me with a stationary Saturn in Pisces oppose Neptune. I have Saturn oppose Neptune. my father was a drug addict too. he had Moon in Pisces like me with stationary retrograde Neptune. she has 3 Sun-Neptune-Pluto midpoint configurations which can indicate the same thing though. She has Neptune sesquiquadrate Pisces Midheaven too.

Hi Glaucus,It makes sense with your Mom's Sun being sextiled by Neptune which can suggest substance addiction. I'm beginning to see health issues in myself whenever an outer planet transits my Sun in a stressful measurement. A few years ago, Solar Arc Pluto opposed my Sun and had just finished conjuncting my Mars which rules my 12th house. Needless to say, I had some harsh health issues in unmentionable hidden places. I just pray that I will never be incarcerated for any reason, I suppose isolating myself from time to time is a kind of self-incarceration. Thanks for sharing that information with us. IP: Logged |

I definitely believe the 12th has its positives too like compassion, charity, spirituality, selfless service. A transformation astrology class told me that 12th house is the house of serve or suffer. IP: Logged |

Hi CoolJen,More skeleton's in the closet with Dad or parents, huh? Incredibly powerful secrets and hard work behind the scenes. What does it mean to you, or how do you think it expresses itself in your life? Because I'm just guessing in the above paragraph.

It's kind of hard for me to say, I guess because they are 12th house energies, so those are 'hidden' to me. I'm the youngest of 4 and my parents got divorced when I was 7. Whatever crap is going on with my dad (drama between he and his sister, or other family members) its always kept on the down low from me. It seems like everyone tries to 'protect' me because I don't get in the middle of those things. My siblings and my dad especially just don't talk about drama with me. My dad will fill in my siblings, much to their disdain, on conflicts between he and his sister or with my mom (when I was younger) but he really doesn't want me to hear about that stuff or get involved in it. I just figure that this is all because I'm the 'baby'. I'm 24 now, but things are still like that...not that there are conflicts all the time, rather its just like ongoing drama.------------------ Leo with Scorpio Rising and Moon in Taurus IP: Logged |

I have Mercury in my 12th house Aquarius itīs square Neptune - would that have something to do with me being facinated by things a bit macabre? Horror movies and horror stories? My Pisces Sun is also situated here - but I donīt feel the descriptions of this placement fits me...well, more than that I love my own company and crave solitude from time to time. I was told Mao Tse Tung also had his sun here... But I hope I donīt have anything in common with him ;-) IP: Logged |
