According to my charts on adoptions/adopted people there is an 11th house-pattern here? Moon or Saturn in the 11th house. and when a person adopts children himself/herself Neptune in the 5th... IP: Logged |

Wow, I usually look for the exact opposite11th house activity (typically Mars or Venus or both) in the chart of the parent who adopts, and Neptune in the 5th house of the person who was adopted. The 11th is the house of step, adopted and sometimes foster children, and the 5th house can represent extended family and sometimes the father. I tend to see Neptune in the 5th in the charts of people who were placed with adoptive parents in infancy, who for whatever reason couldn't or didn't get in contact with their biological family members.------------------ "You stay young as long as you can learn, acquire new habits and suffer contradiction." My mother has Neptune in 5th,and she had a son at the age of 15 1/2,and she was forced to give him up for adoption. This was before she met my father. She didn't tell me about my brother until I was 21 years old(I have Neptune in 3rd). Her mother attempted to adopt her out. My former Marines grandfather came back from Korea. He was with her for the first time, and he felt too much of a bond to let her go. He kept her. My mother never knew her mother who had a daughter before she met my grandfather. another interesting thing is her mother's natal chart has Neptune in 5th like my mother.I don't have Neptune in 5th, but my 5th house ruler Saturn opposes Neptune. I also have South Neptune Node conjunct North Lunar Node in 5th. I hope that history doesn't repeat itself. ------------------ Stop The Misdiagnosing Of Neurodivergents http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/stop-the-misdiagnosing-of-neurodivergents IP: Logged |

Very Interesting. I've been curious about this. I had heard/read to look at the 11th house. It's interesting to hear about Neptune's Influence. My mother was given away along with my aunts when they were kids. Never officially adopted. My great-grandparents took all of them. But there were people who wanted to adopt them. My great-grandparents didn't want them seperated because they were sisters and already had it rough. My Grandmother stayed in their life but wasn't much of a mom. I Don't see anything in my Mother or aunts 5th/11th houses My aunt has Uranus in her 5th. I guess because they stayed with in the family and their mother was still sorta in their lives. I'm sure if I sat and looked at the charts I'd notice some things. IP: Logged |

I had just written a post... but it dissappeard... I hope it doesnīt pop up on inappropriatly on another thread ;-)...was refering to Wild sheepīs post.Hm...could be...I see this placement in one of my adopted friendīs charts. He has Neptune in the 5th house and Uranus in the 4th (he was put up for adoption as an infant because of the messy Uranian influences in the home...) Angelina Jolie has the 5th house Neptune if she isnīt the Queen of adoptions I donīt know who is... ;-) She has 11th house Sun also. IP: Logged |

I'm adopted and I have nothing in the 11th House except my Part of Fortune. I do have a 5th House Sun though and my Karma is in the 4th House.IP: Logged |

I have my neptune in my 5th house and sun in 10th or maybe 11th house (depending on the source). I am not adopted but my parents are on the old side. Does that count? Or does it mean that I am more likely to adopt a child then the average person? IP: Logged |

I am hoping to adopt my foster daughter. I have had her since she was 10 weeks and she is now almost 11 months. I will find out next month if they go to severance or not. I have been looking to both hers and my chart for reassurance if I will be able to adopt or not. She has mars in her 11th and my 5th house is ruled by pisces/neptune. I have nothing in the 5th house though. I do have Pluto in the 11th thought. My foster daughter has Neptune, the Sun, and Mercury all in the 4th. What do you think? IP: Logged |

so far i really do believe in the concept of adoption. there are far too many children across the globe that need shelter, home, care, love and a good upbringing.my neptune is in my 3rd but i do have neptune opposite my moon. IP: Logged |

:O So that means I will not adopt? I really wanted to adopt when I got older. I only have true node and chiron in 11th. Empty 5th house except very late Venus. Dang it!IP: Logged |

Based on this link it's a combination of the 11th house or Aquarius and Neptune. This makes sense to me. https://www.astrologyweekly.com/blog/the-astrology-of-adoption/ IP: Logged |
