I've read about the ruler of the ASC is one of the most important planets in our life even more important than the Sun or Moon in the inmediate situation in our real life, according to Stephen Arroyo, but, is very important in Synastry too, the ruler of the ASC in aspect of a person with your ruler of the ASC is a deep connection in our life with other people.I would like to know your experiences about it... Not quite getting you here, Mhax. Both Ascendant rulers in aspect to each other? Or one Ascendant ruler in aspect with another planet? For what it's worth, here are mine: My husband's ruling planet is Mercury, mine are Pluto/Mars. They don't make any aspects to each other. His Mercury trines mine by 1* orb. Crucial in our relationship. My Mercury CNJ Venus Trines his Ascendant. My Mars is CNJ his Saturn exactly, CNJ his Sun by 2*. That also is an aspect I think makes the relationship tick. His Venus is Square my Pluto CNJ Moon, it's a binding aspect. If a bit dramatic. But then the whole chart is dramatic, with a Grand Cross involving Neptune, both Mars, Venus, etc. IP: Logged |

I think is important in any aspect with other personal planets, and is importan the ruler of the Descendent with other planets too.If you have ASC Virgo I think the ruler is Chiron and if it's Taurus,is Venus but you have to watch Ceres as well I think. IP: Logged |

I think aspects to the rulers are DEFINITELY important. Look out for an aspect between the ruler of 1st and 7th house, and if it`s a conjunction or opposition, you should feel a very strong attraction to each other (of course you have to consider other more cooling factors, too). The rulers of 5th and 8th house *can* make for pretty strong interaction, too.
