DD, Diandra and l have been pretty obsessed about these asteroids lately and l was wondering where everyone has these asects in their synastry's and how they manifest.

The 5th, 7th and 8th houses are presumably the most potent for relationships, but how do these asteroids affect the dynamic, if at all?

I can tell you from the top of my head where those asteroids are in my natal chart.

Valentine: 27,5° Scorpio in 12th house

Cupid: 20° Leo in 8th house (Placidus)

Aphrodite: 13° Libra in 10th house (Placidus) - maybe this placement relates to my obsessive attractions to the beautiful arts and even more to the beautiful performers?

Psyche: 24° Aquarius in 2nd house (but almost conjunct 3rd house cusp)

Eros: 21° Cancer in 8th house

Well, the Valentine, Eros and Cupid placements seem to be rather intense.
Aphrodite and Cupid are quite telling in regard to theatre (Cupid in Leo!) and art (Aphrodite in Libra), too.

Aphrodite and Psyche both in Airsigns give it some "airyness", too. Probably rather charming than emotionally deep.

I also looked up the Sabian symbols for these:

Valentine: THE KING OF THE FAIRIES APPROACHING HIS DOMAIN.
- Isn`t "fairy" an expression for gay people? It would nicely illustrate my affinity for these two gay musicmen.

Cupid: ZUNI INDIANS PERFORM A RITUAL TO THE SUN.
One of the keyphrases here is "Identification through worship" - I think you can call my liking of musical-theatre as some kind of worship. Maybe it is part of my selfidentification?

Aphrodite: IN THE HEAT OF THE NOON HOUR A MAN TAKES A SIESTA

Psyche: A BUTTERFLY WITH THE RIGHT WING MORE PERFECTLY FORMED.

Funny enough, a friend once called me with a nickname that is translated into "Butterfly". lol

Eros: A FAMOUS SINGER IS PROVING HER VIRTUOSITY DURING AN OPERATIC PERFORMANCE.

This one relates directly to the image of the opera

Is it only me, or do these Sabians have a common theme? One that you can easily relate to theatre, art and social gatherings?

I`m very much into chartrulers, too.
I actually think that a big part of the attraction I feel to that guy may stem from the fact that his Sun (and Moon) is exactly conjunct my 7th house ruler (Mercury).

yes, I think it`s important to look into the natals to see if there are natally important connections.

My chart:

Apollo, Union, Adonis (and Sappho widely) are conjunct in Libra in 10th house;
the stellium sextiles my Sun and MErcury and trines my Psyche and Lilith

how about Urania as asteroid for astrology?

WEll, I was sceptical towards asteroids myself, but I got convinced of their use pretty fast.
But it`s important to keep a clear perception of the "whole" and the "basics".
In most cases the asteroids are a very specific, subtle influence.

Now I definitely would not underestimate the Draconics. Actually I look at the tropical and Draconic together, now.
My own draconic chart illuminated a lot of "grey areas" in my own chart.
Tropical and draconic are two sides of the same coin, and if I look only at one side I will only have half of the picture.
That is my take on it anyway.

However, I agree, it is very time consuming to do all these analysises.
But I know that I will never get finished with interpreting my own chart (least others); it shows me new layers again and again, and that is what keeps it so exciting to me.

NATALLY I have Adonis and Aphrodite conjunct in Libra... Aphrodite is conjunct my natal Pluto and trines my POF... and all of them trine my Venus in Gemini!

NATALLY he has Adonis in Scorpio conjunct Jupiter, in his 7th house. He also has Aphrodite conjunct his NN and Mars in Aquarius. (And if I say so myself, my bf is f***ing hot!)
