Is there a sign less likely to give in when provoked than Taurus? Maybe Scorpio. With a Libran Moon and 7th House Stellium it's fair to say I am not hesitant in making apologies and placating situations. However, that stellium is in Taurus and there is a limit. When the bull feels it has been imposed upon it can see red. So when this week when I warned someone that whatever underhand tactics they tried to manipulate me with I wasn't going to be persauded that they were right, I thought to myself, Taurus in Mercury. I hate it when people try to make out something is your fault when it blatantly isn't, just so they can justify their own bad behaviour. Mercury in Taurus isn't thick, despite what the dodgier astro-cook books try and insinuate.

Errrggghhhh....I hated when people do that...With me its only a matter of seconds before I turn red. Despite my Mercury in Taurus. My other placements just can't take it.. IP: Logged |

Hee. Thanks for your defense of Mercury in Taurus. All I can say about mine is—it's good for the long haul. I can keep going longer than a lot of others, even during arduous tasks which require heavy mental lifting. ------------------ "You stay young as long as you can learn, acquire new habits and suffer contradiction." No, you've got me sussed alright Plutomaki. I know my own mind and don't like being told otherwise. It's good to know fellow Taurean Mercurys are not taking to take it when we get told we are slow of mind. IP: Logged |

I'm an Aqua with Virgo moon and Aqua Merc, and I pity the fool who'd try to blame me for something I didn't do! I can be very nasty in that kind of situation. I've probably even given a few people peptic ulcers from my biting remarks. But there's a limit to my protests. I'm not someone who'll drag something out forever without no resolution in sight. Either I trump the person and win the day, or I blow them off. But the thing is, if I blow someone off once, then it's an extremely bad idea for them to get on my bad side later on. If so, that person will be completely eviscerated. I have no patience for people who want to pursue ongoing feuds with me. But I suspect either a Taurus or Scorpio Merc would be more persistent than I could ever be. Both are fixed signs like Aqua, but more emotionally involved and not as intellectually detached, so it's not as easy for them to just say "**** it" and walk away. IP: Logged |

Sussed as in seen right through, bang on the money, spot on. Hearing me speak would be worse. Some of the Brits would struggle. IP: Logged |

Moo. A friend of my former flat mate described me as "the girl with the accent that could cut glass". Glad you put that back up, it cracked me up.
