I dont know what transit it could be other than Neptune in my first. Lately, Ive been completely engrossed in deep far away thoughts, and I have trouble remembering and/or listening. I feel like a space alien more than ever. Theres a TV show in my head.IP: Logged |

This is on my natal chart, I love it. The ability to drift off in a dream has kept me sane over the years. Not everyone gives it such a good write-up though. Here are some opinions off the 'net: Neptune transiting the 1st House - during this transit you will be constantly presented with a wide variety of feedback on how others see you. Do not accept any of these as representing who you really are as a person. Because of all the diverse feedback it will be important that you have a handle on who you are, and not try to match what you hear from others. Others will be confused by your changing self-image, but no more than you will be. Its like you are trying on different masks to see which one fits you best, or meets others expectations. You need to understand that the feedback from others only reflects feedback on the masks not who you really are as a person. http://www.geocities.com/my_astrology/neptunetransits.html A transit of Neptune to the 1st House marks a time when a person’s ability to project himself and to act effectively may be eroded by a diminished sense of separateness. This may be the consequence of being greatly under the influence of a partner, friends or associates. http://www.dkfoundation.co.uk/BookTransitsAndProgressions.htm
Neptune Transits Through Your First House: Well, at least it’s good for your imagination. Of course, you may have to sew name tags to all your clothing to remind yourself who you are. No, it’s not that bad. Just be careful not to let your imagination run away with you. You may also find yourself wanting to take care of people with problems. A Neptune transit may make you want to help people. but it doesn’t give you the ability to do the job. Send them to a professional. If you really feel the need to do something yourself, join a volunteer group. http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/transitsneptune18.2.htm

hmm Ive felt that way my whole life. Im a big time day dreamer.. ever since I was little.. I have a very good imagination. I can play little movies in my head.. lol. but keep in mind a good imagination can be good and bad. I would like Neptune in the first.. but I suppose my chart Ruler (Mercury) opposing Neptune will do it.IP: Logged |

I have Neptune in my 1st. I've always been a day dreamer. I'm never here nor there. I float in and out all the time. I guess it's fine LOL I always felt like an Alien haha It's true you can play out scenes and imagine all kinds of stuff good and bad. I always tell my husband if you only knew what goes through my head.. and I'm being honest. IP: Logged |

I have Neptune in my first in my natal chart too! Does it cause issues figuring out who you are, and what you want, because you want to be everything to everyone?IP: Logged |

Neptune in 1st house conjunct ASC here - yes it has sometimes been difficult to identify myself. I seem never to be really sure what this ME really is, it could be so many different things. Sometimes it`s not easy to discern between reality and imagination. But of course the good side of it all is that I can really EXPERIENCE dreams, sometimes as if they were real. Very vivid imagination. But sometimes the borders between me and others, or between reality and imagination seem to dissolve. IP: Logged |

Sunshine, For me personally? Yes I have a hard time figuring out who I am or what I want. The one thing I do like is I don't have much of a problem with people disliking me because They see what they want to see. I don't become that person that they see... i just can relate to anyone for the most part. It's not that i don't find people who don't like me it does happen, it's just not very often. IP: Logged |

So I guess this does prove that aspects to your chart ruler are almost the same as anything in the first. im afraid this could mean a breakdown of the mind in later years give me schizophrenia cause I cant stand the thought of not being able to remember things.IP: Logged |

Stars, sorry love, I don't follow you on this one. Mercury Opposite Neptune doesn't prove you are going to have a mental breakdown, neither does Neptune in the 1st. Older people sometimes forget things, but this can also happen if you have a lot on your mind or you are in a situation where you have to remember things for several other people (which probably means you are a non-single female with children). If you are really worried, it may sound silly but doing a crossword a day or some such puzzle helps keep the geriatric mind sharp. But frankly, I have knickers older than you so I don't think you should be worrying your head about this yet. Also, I bet if you put all the Neptune in 1st people against the wall and pressed them for the truth you'd find out they aren't half as dippy as they make out. I'm certainly not. My son also has this aspect, I know he can hear me alright and is as sharp as a tack. I'm not fooled for a minute. IP: Logged |

Mercury Opposed to Neptune presents the need to balance reality and imagination. There's a good side to it though, isn't there? Get the balance right and that is a useful tool. IP: Logged |

I lose my head completely to day dreaming.. but at the same time its something I need to do to keep my sanity. and also keep my motivated.IP: Logged |

That's a big question ~ but it sounds like you have the answer. Besides, when lack of reality strays into your day-to-day external existence it it is likely someone around will point it out. IP: Logged |
