quote: coral!! where've you been all these months? nice to see you again! yeah my parents are cancer and cap moon, and they're like night and day.. haha.
awww you noticed nice to see u as well! I've just been very busy. I have popped in rarely but didn't post. This year has been the busiest yr I've had for a looooooong while lol About your guy, I think he might just be very slow in falling in love, specially since he has both Cap and Cancer in his chart. So maybe he isn't concealing as much as he is *slowly* falling for you and doesn't want to say anything until it really feels right to him. IP: Logged |

thanks coral! hope your busyness is fun and satisfying..that makes total sense, of course. this whole thing is so interesting cuz it's got me pondering at a very deep level why people fall in love, or get into relationships. it's interesting since we haven't really spent a lot of time together in person, but i remember his vibe and though i didn't used to be attracted to him at all, i am now. and it must be the conjunctions (everything in our charts is conjunct except our moons), but we just FLOW so well and i feel like we really understand one another. though, i know more about him since a lot of his work and writings are published on the internet.. so in that sense, i do know him better (and therefor have a clearer sense of how i feel about him than he probably can about me). but when we talk, which is frequently enough, there's just such an easy back and forth and i just feel like i completely get him and admire him so much! so yeah, i really like the process myself and of course don't know if we'd be this compatible in person.. who knows! but i really feel we would. we have very similar senses of humour, love all the same stuff and write in a very similar style.. it's interesting to spend time getting to know one another without the physical; without knowing forsure if the chemistry is there. sometimes strong chemistry can cause people to get together even when they don't know eachother well enough, or have enough common ground. so in many ways i suppose this is beneficial. and yeah i can understand that with cappy and cancer placements he'd want to take it very slowly. i can dig that. it's wise. I agree about the can/cap placements..My bf is a Cancer sun with a Cappy moon... Aqua Asc... this is the slowest moving relationship I have ever been in. Which actually, at this point in my life, with all the dissapointments I have suffered, is a good thing. Just different. And ultimately, I think is the best way to really start a relationship. Really get to know each other inside and out and know if you can put up with each other. You really do sound so excited about this, heart cakes!! IP: Logged |

haha, yeah i am excited. he has a very stimulating effect on me! i totally agree that going sloooow is the best way to approach relationships (and wish i'd figured that out earlier!). it would be nice to know if his mind (and heart) is even on that path with me, though. but i guess at this stage, he's probably wondering about that himself!IP: Logged |

Yeah, I find that we both kind of are so uncompromising with our independence, that we probably frustrate each other with "does she/he feel the same way?" I just don't want to smother or be smothered ever again, so I just do this: whenever I have an instinct that the old me would have done immediately, I stop and think about it, and usually don't call/text/worry like I used to. It seems to cause a lot less friction. But at times, I do wonder if he is afraid I don't care that much... so then I do nice things like bring him a sandwich randomly or just leave him a folded up napkin in his work pants that says "love you"...Seems to work out well! yeah i get that!!hey how does venus in cap tend to work with you? i have venus last degree sag, and his is third degree cap, so i think i'm a little more gung ho and spontaneous.. gotta tame that! i think i'll take your example; think about what the old me would have done, and do the opposite! It's kind of a weird aspect... I don't really notice it's effects until people tell me how practical I am with money and how I always seem to be planning for the future in a weird way. As far as how it effects my relationships, I do tend to become involved either with people I work with, or people I can see some kind of mutual goals with. (when I was single) If I was talking to somebody and they were like "oh, I don't know, I may jet out to Cali for like, a year..." I'm so not into that at this point in my life. I've been there and done that. Now, the bf and I will be driving to a store, or the beach, and he will say things like "what do you think of that house? Wouldn't you love a porch like that? OH, and the yard is perfect for a dog." THAT is so much more my speed... LOL I guess I look at relationships almost like partnerships in business. Working together to attain mutual goals in life. I mean, what's the point of struggling against each other's purposes? Been there and done that, too... I have a good mixed bag in my chart aside from all my Aqua energy, so I'd say that I balance out pretty well. So does he, so it's nice... IP: Logged |

ahh, very enlightening, gahnima81! thanks! yeah, he's VERY career oriented, an applies all his aquarian stuff within that drive. i feel like my career path could compliment his, in fact. and hey! i found this awesome section on venus in capricorn on google books. i can't paste it, so here's the link: http://books.google.com/books?id=ocZ0DmlzckcC&pg= PA214&dq=venus+in+capricorn&sig=ACfU3U2-LwLF9cxNNy8ZJf2Q2dUsoaUGkQ#PPA214,M1 apparently, it looks as though capricorn venus men pretty much NEVER reveal their feelings unless they're 100% sure, and know you're 100% committed to them! so i guess that means i'll probably never know how he feels, even if his feelings are leaning toward me, while we're still getting to know one another. but my taurus moon compliments both his venus and his moon nicely. i feel i have the patience to wait, as long as it takes. and i don't think my feelings for him will go away, but obviously my patience has to contain an element of detachment or i'll drive myself bonkers in the meantime! venusdeinia, thanks! i forgot about those links! i'll check them out.. hi everyone Im enjoying reading this threadive been seening a cancer asc moon placed there for several years. just wanted to share some experiances with yous.. The closer he gets to me the more he runs, from his own feelings as im quite relaxed and not needy, but he knows how i feel about him and the duration of our relationship should show him my commitment i would think... im aquarian sun and venus he is aries sun aqu venus so we are both detached and independant people, who talk to each other like buddies lol never do we use each other in the convasations it allways,, generalized... took me a while he was just like me in that.. doh (slaps head) aqu is so vaige at times. first time ever we had a convo about where we were headed... dam all i said was i loved him and i got the big speach and further follow up convos with it to. all i said was 3 little words to this cancer moon man and hes thinking i want to marry him.. since reading this thread i see it now as thats what love means to him. He put up his shell and said he wasnt wanting things to change and if i did he would have to think about ending it as he doesnt want to lead me on anymore than he has.. der 7 years.. men! grrr said hes not saying he doesnt want a relationship with me just not yet.. hes like mid 30,s only just moved out of home.. hes really a change phobe.. doesnt like it, is that the same with all cancer moon asc men i wonder. once i had said im loveing what we have and dont want to change it either, but i would be wanting more at some stage from him only not sure when myslef.. he dropped the shell and became very loveing and started talking to me in a loveing way to also demistrating it.. venus in 8th house hehe after reading all this from you wonderfull peole i just dont know how to rip that shell right off him .. give him a cardigan so to speak lol IP: Logged |

My aunt is cancer moon she falls in my 12th so idk we are not best but she has taken the role of house provider about which she complains but continues doing on her initiative - she is very snappy, argumentative, possesive....IP: Logged |
