mercury in aries too. i like to get straight to the point too. not only that, i really appreciate it when other people do too. i much prefer people who are blunt and say what they have to say - doesn't mean they can do it in a rude way - but cut out all the bs. much easier.

My mercury is in Taurus. I listen carefully, and have actually drawn up my conclusion not after listening, but while I'm listening. (Shhh! Don't tell anyone.) The reason that is, is because I am able to decipher the facts and pull them out of the person relaying the information to me without the emotional part. I don't want to make a judgement off of another person's emotions, because it's not going to help them, which is why they came to me in the first place. "Just the facts, ma'am." Also, I don't take advice well, because of course I already have my own answer, so why should I listen to yours. Ha! I also tend to repeat myself, and don't realize it until later. It does take me a while to make a decision for myself, though. I have to be careful in making them. Also, the same goes for decision making for my children. They ask if they can do something, and it usually takes a few hours or even days to make that decision.
