I once read that families can have a handful of leos, due to the Lion pride thing (also leos will tend to stick together/get on with each other).do you think your family has enough 'leo' in it to constitute a lion pride thing going on? i think leo rising fits well. dark eyes, mane of hair - and since it is 29 deg leo it puts most of your first house in virgo which would explain all the virgo guesses! aqua rising is more often penetratingly blue-eyed. and the tall slim thing could also be virgo, not aquarius. i am leo(!) w/aqua rising and not tall (though most people think me much taller than i am!). nor slim! more curvy and leonine looking that way, but i was born with a white birthmark in the middle of my hairline (just a little weird to most people, especially when i was young), have always been an "eclectic" dresser (euphemism?) a little out of step with my surroundings, especially at work!that said, opposing signs share a surprising number of traits, and leo regality can come across as aloof to the proles, while aquas' propensity for organizing everything for the good of all can seem quite "bossy" to the "all"! Yes, well Leo AC is plausible as well, if you are born 29 deg leo, then you'd be in Aries decanate, which is the reverse of what I originally proposed. Problem is we have no video tape to see how you carry yourself Lara . You should read the Aries and Leo AC descriptions as see how you feel about them. Read the decanates as well:

However, there are so many things that can change appearance such as what is in the 1st house, aspects to these planets, to the asc and chart ruler. As someone said, virgo in the 1st might lead to a lean body (as you have). Otherwise, traditional astrology does it differently - it determines appearance by asc, altumen, occupiers of the 1st and planetary hour ruler. You might want to have a look at this and see what you think. I'm still trying to get my head around this theory and still testing it out. It's quite complicated and calculating altumens is messy.

23 - that was interesting. My Asc is Aries which Mars is the Lord, which is found in 21 Libra, which makes me dark - and guess what, I am dark!! Well hair and eyes are - not my skin - it's pretty fair.Phew - hope it all helps you Lara!

koiflower - Yeah its hardcore stuff isn't it? I'm still trying to get my head around it and it works for my chart but that is because it brings up the same planets as the modern astrological interpretation of appearance (ie asc, its ruler and aspects, sun and its aspects, moon and its aspects, venus and its aspects etc), so I can't really test it on myself as such. Maybe if Lara can suggest a few degrees to try in Aries and 29 deg Leo, we can test it out. I might be able to get help with the altumen issue from another website.... IP: Logged |

re Asc possibilities ..
i'm thinking down the possible placement of ..
Virgo Ascendant .. with Pluto and Uranus in the vicinity thereof ..
i.e. maybe aspecting by conjunction ..given the position of mars and saturn transiting ..
they might be currently going thru 12th house .. .. bf's scorp. (pluto) ascendant ..
and today ( 3rd july ) t.Merc is squaring your natal Pluto
