My natal Venus/Pluto conjunct 0°29s and Uranus/Pluto conjunct 1°41a (creating a stellium in Virgo 5th House)It has been difficult to live with. The pure erotic passion that has burned through me over my younger years, could burn a hole through steel. Being in the 5th house, I've had to almost 'meditate' the passion into submission. There is an element of needing to control it, to avoid turning my life into a mess. I have payed the price for such passion: quote: If you are a Venus-Pluto child, your early erotic feelings will have probably been more intense and obvious than those of many children, and there is a great likelihood that they wre not welcome.
quote: And because Venus-Pluto reflects a peculiarly intense and fixed kind of love, there is great pride involved, and the wound is never forgotten. It is then not suprising that Venus-Pluto people, when grown up, may play some rather awful power games in order to avoid ever being humiliated in this way again.
I wouldn't say 'power games' for myself - just more like avoiding the passion, as many people (esp women) are threatened by it. I've drawn on the Virgoan side, where Venus/Pluto reside, to lend a virginal hand in my control of this power. I come across as being very patient and relaxed, but if only others knew what depths were swirling inside of me! I am certain it is partially responsible for my emotional burn-out I had years ago, over a relationship break-up. Oh, the ecstacy and agony! The bittersweetness of Love! The suffering, the desires, the eroticism!! Venus/Pluto can sure make you know you're alive!!!! Thanks HappyDragon for this invaluable insight! IP: Logged |

What about when Venus and Pluto are in mutual reception and they are co-rulers of the chart? Does this generate the same sort of vibe as a Venus-Pluto aspect?IP: Logged |
