Lara, http://www.librarising.com/astrology/risingsigns/aquariusrising2.html This is really interesting. You have a similar facial expression to Tori and Terri on the page and the last photo and you hold your mouth like theirs. I can see Belinda Carlisle in you as well as well as Alicia. If you were to show me the last photo of yourself only, I'd say Aqu rising and maybe you are Aqu rising. IP: Logged |

quote: It says that Aqu risers tend to consider their favourite colours as turquoise, purple and violet and they have fly-away hair. I'm the Sun and I have fly-away hair, it's a humidity radar! Do you identify with this?
In a word: NO! I hate turquoise and only have purple and violet if l must. In fact my wardrobe is blue, black, white, 1 red item and no colour whatsoever. I'm colour phobic. I have thick, really thick yet very fine hair that l am unable to style... it just does what it wants to. IP: Logged |

Roma Downey also has similar facial expression to yours as well. The truncated face could very well be as you say, Aries - Tau underneath. Would you have your Uranus in Virgo? That would point to a longer face but I don't really know how much the ruling planet's sign would influence appearance. I have my Mars in Gemini and I've got a slightly smaller mouth which is caused by this and that's it! I don't think I really look Gemini myself so it could be said the same re Ura in Virgo. Ascendant astrology is very tough. I really don't feel I do have the knack of it most of the time! IP: Logged |

It'd be impossible to do that from here Usually people look like a mixture of signs and it is very hard to split off ascendants from the rest of the chart. There are a few clear cut examples. Well the chart you put up is plausible. Aries on the 3rd, you do communicate and you can be assertive when doing so and you said home decorating is a past job, Tau Sun on IC. IP: Logged |

You've got the Aries coming out in the eyes in some photos but you don't have the v-shaped quality of the eyebrows even though they can be quite arched in some photos. The bottom half of your face is more Aquarius, less like Aries. IP: Logged |

Well let's just say that Aqu Rising is back on the agenda and very plausible! It is common to attract people of the same sign as your AC-DC axis, if you were Aries rising, then 5th house would be Leo and Aqu would be 11th - love wanted and received. I'm Aries rising and have attracted Leos and Aqu a lot too. IP: Logged |

true! I only attract aries, libra, aqua and leo sun signs. I guess it's an individual thing whether one prefers a planet on one's 7th or 1st. IP: Logged |

You've got Jane Leeves' eyes, that long thin inner eye bit, where the tear duct is before the iris/pupil. You're teaching me a lot Lara. I've often associated that eyeshape with Cap. Nick Rhodes has that eyeshape as does Mr 23. I still think the other two are Cap rising (jawlines) but that shows the effects of Saturn in Aqu I guess. Michael Hutchence has it too, Cap Rising, Aqu Sun. IP: Logged |

Yes, l did notice something in Jane that struck me. Hey, l am glad that l am not just abusing your kindness. I worry about that sometimes... l don't want you to have the burden of "what is Lara's ASCENDANT!!!!"I just read gemini AC for Mr Lara and omg it sounds like me (just shows how tough it is to work out AC) short torso long limbs average height left-handed loves to drive great at self expression self of humour fidgeting counting window panes and floor slabs interrupting others as they speak look younger than your age thin skin with veins showing hig pitched voice jack of all trades wiry and lives off your nerves dear me. Maybe i'm gemini decan? IP: Logged |

Re 1st-7th - I think that it really depends on what planet it is and what you have on the 1st, 7th. For example to use me, I'm Aries rising, 15 deg. Planets like the Moon and Mars in my 12th can or will upset me (Aries/Pisces). If someone places their planets on my AC-DC line, then they will have to contend with my Pluto/Moon and Jupiter which fall on that axis. My Saturn falls at 29 deg Cap so any late placements in Aries will have to deal with that. Any early Tau placements in my first will have to compete with my Aqu Sun/Merc, both 2 deg Aqu. So, for me, something in my first can upset me depending on what planet it is and then the rest of the chart. For example, we deal with each other well despite your Sun/Merc squaring my Sun/Merc (both your planets are in the first) but then we have Venus-Jupiter DW which means there is a lot of goodwill between us because of that IP: Logged |

WOW this is really odd because only yesterday l was looking at friend's mercurys on mine AND the friends l get on with the best ALL had mercury squaring my mercury lol How weird is that! We never argue online and we do kinda 'get' each other and help each other. I am respectful of your communicating space too so maybe it's cos my mercury is in the zone of my sun? Aqua rising puts my sun's ruler on 7th and... oh l don't know! At times like this my limited knowledge of astrology frustrates me! I know one thing... scorpio AC grates me in my chart and so does Leo moon. IP: Logged |

Decanates are tricky. I thought maybe you could glean something off the decanates in looks but now I don't know. I have to go through my Aries AC research and see if I can see a pattern. You could be Gemini decanate but you don't strike me as Gemini in particular if we were to follow appearances on that. IP: Logged |

Squares can be very helpful provided you suitable aspects elsewhere, which we do. My mum and I have squaring Suns and Mercuries and we fight like cat and dog but then the rest of the chart is pretty hard (as you've seen). I guess with us and fixed mercuries, there would be maybe similar thought process, a slow and steady, deliberate thought pattern maybe. Also my Merc opp my Saturn (but squ Uranus) which would make it more practical and earthy. If you are an Aqu rising, would you say that my Sun would fall in your 12th or on your 1st? Would you say I'm someone that you have a visceral connection and could talk to me about anything or would you say that I am someone that energises and inspires you. I have two Aries friends, the first one is 12th house Sun and affects me viscerally, the second one is a 1st house Sun and inspires me. My Sun and Merc are 2 deg Aqu. Well grating ASC of Sco could make you Aqu rising. I can't think of anyone on the basis of ASC that annoys me. Mr 23 is Cap and I'm Aries and it doesn't bother me, but I do have Sun opp Saturn. Still, BM has said many times that Le Bon annoys the hell out of her and she is Sco rising and can't stand him and I'm 150% sure he is Leo ASC and I put him down at 11 deg, which was before I knew BM's ASC of 13 deg Sco. Very plausible! IP: Logged |

I'd say your sun/mercury are in my 12th or on my AC hmmm have to think about that one. Let me see, my ex sex buddy who l was obsessed with has moon @ 3' aqua and mars @18. sun @ 12 leo and venus @7' leo. I'm totally tonto about him! was so hard to walk away but he was bad for me. Mr Lara is Aqua sun 26', Aqua NN @23' Aqua mercury @11' Interesting about BM and Le Bon. He looks leo AC def!

Lara, my net seems to be dropping out. Hope this gets through. Mars in 1st --> ka ching, Venus in 7th if you are Aqu rising. I find Mars in 1st so deadly for me. I'm always attracted to the ones who stick their Mars in my first (particuarly Aries), even if it isn't smooth sailing. Well if you are Aqu rising, then you are greater than 2 deg! You should do a test on the other Aqus here and evaluate your feelings towards them like what we did. As well as the ones in your real life. IP: Logged |
