LOL!! Well, I'm not Gemini Rising, but my mercury is heavily aspected/afflicted. My Sun/Mercury/Venus are Gemini though.Btw, your new pic looks much more Cancerian (and your Aqua sun shows up more). IP: Logged |

Guessing the ascendant can be tricky, especially if you're of non-Caucasian descent. Classic indicators of what each sign looks like, to a large extent, no longer apply because of fundamental differences in Caucasian features and Asian features. However, I believe that how a person dresses/wears her hair can be quite telling. The overall "vibe" of a person can be felt too. I do not have a fire ascendant, however, there are aspects in my chart that may lend to firey characteristics. I'd like to see what 23 has to say first before I reveal my ascendant! IP: Logged |

Yah, I have been spending a lot of my time with Asians lately, all Chinese, so I was hoping to do better.I agree with what you have to say however. Than again, actually being in China, there are some Chinese who challenge your (western) perception of what a Chinese SHOULD look like. Heck, I was mistaken for a Chinese once!! But I hear of many westerners being pretty surprised by the diversity of looks once here, it is more than they think. What specific country Fiona? IP: Logged |

In china, the further north you go, the more likely you'll come across someone with caucasian features (ie. higher nose bridge/sharper nose, lighter hair/skin, sometimes blue eyes). Because of its proximity to Russia, sometimes you'll also see a chinese person who look 100% caucasian! That's probably why you were mistaken for one.I was born in Singapore (Chinese descent) and lived in the US between 2000-2008. Now I'm back in Singapore again. Are you a Sag or Libra sun, btw? Not a sag sun but I have sag features that are creeping into my life more and more. Amd I am in Northern China. But, southern China can be like what you described in some cases too. Or I guess it is Western and towards the middle. The parts of China that boarder India and Pakistan have Chinese that challenge your perception of the typical Chinese person if you are a westerner. I have seen a few people who I swear were Indian, who were indeed Chinese. Very dark skin, more Indian features. I have even seen Chinese who looked almost Turkish/middle eastern, but again, probably lived on the boarder near Pakistan. I always confuse Malaysia and Singapore. Malaysia is decently sized and south of Thailand? And Singapore is a small country, almost one big city, below Malaysia? I like to pride myself in knowing geography, lets see how that plays out in your response.. I almost went to Malaysia (had a ticket to go) and will hopefully go in the future, by the way.

Yes, you are correct. Singapore is the tiny island/city-state just below Malaysia. There's nothing much here really except for a somewhat decent nightlife. More often than not, Singapore is merely used as a hub to travel to other more "exotic" parts of Southeast Asia  IP: Logged |

I read an article about a hidden gem of Singapore, actually. Not many people know it, but there is still a very small tropical community. Or, still a place in Singapore to go for a taste of nature and village life. But it is in danger of just becoming another part of the mega city.I think I would go for a week. But I usually only go to places where I know folks. Like Thailand or Vietnam. IP: Logged |

Um....don't think so. I don't have the bushy eyebrows, the hawk-like nose, or the brooding personality of a Scorpio Rising. I think I might have been confused with a Libra Rising. The only Scorpio Rising features I have is a curvy body and voluptuousness. IP: Logged |
