I just looked in the mirror with natural pose and yah maybe I do have a LIttle tiny bit of what you'd call downturn mouth. Because of a downturn upper lip really.

Cuz while we don't know the 'exact' time (unfortunately they didn't record them in our birth certificates like I'm told Westerners do), we do know the approximate time and it was around noon. According to my mom, a bit before noon.

I mean gemini dwad. The rising is divided up in 12 parts, each part is called a dwad. A dwad rules 2.5 degree intervals. Aries is first (0-2.5 deg), Tau is next (2.5-5 deg) and so forth until Pisces ruling 27.5-30 deg of Aries. So with each dwad, you can determine the facial expression and features. I say you have gemini facial expression (gemini dwad), possibly aries dwad or libra. Now you face shape is more likely to be from the 10-20 degree range of aries rising not the 0-10 deg (which rules out gemini, aries). Mars will highly modify your facial shape and your facial shape is much more like a sco rising, you said you were sco rising. Also a bit of cap influence there taking your jaw up higher.

yes, its very hard to tell. A photo has to be front on and close up. I often get requests of "can you tell me what ascendant" this person has and it's usually a blurry photo which is 1cm x 1cm in size. At least you gave me a couple, but its hard still to discern what you are.

In fact, I first checked it out before even stumbling upon this one.
I think the work you've done there is fantastic. Extensive and impressive research which shows true focus and dedication!

For me though, personally, that stuff and even the last few posts of yours is just too complicated. You guys are out of my league. I'm a baboon compared to you guys when it comes to this stuff. So yah I had misunderstood you and thought you were suggesting I'm a Gemini Rising.

I had no idea about this 'dwad' stuff and am still perplexed but thanks for the explanation.

And now, I'm not sure if you mean I "said" I was a Scorpio rising? Cuz I didn't and I don't think I can be one. Or if I'm misunderstanding you again?

So, at this point I am probably useless to ask, unless I can find a few hours on the weekend to re-read the thread on Rising Sign Research and take a look. However, 23 has done some incredible research on that thread and I would say is the leader in this area.

Hang around though, and keep perusing the threads, as there are a lot of tid-bits that you can use to piece together questions. But this comes with a warning!!!! You may find your initial question leads to others, and before you know it, you'll be an avid visitor to this forum in search of many truths!!

Those are what I have right now, 23. Whatever you can make out from them (I know they're crap and nothing can be said with any real certainty), great. If not, don't worry about it.

In the meantime, I may start a new thread and see what people can tell me about my 'chart' now that I've posted it but don't seem to be getting much interpretations (probably because others are even busier ).

It's kind of funny, because they say Aries is the "baby" of the signs, and Aqua is kind of the "sage", so I guess my child like wonder and interest in absolutely everything, and almost naive attitude towards everything is still learning... I know we all are on the path to becoming more like our sun signs, so hopefully I will curb it a little when I'm older...

Like I said, I really already appreciate what you have done. So you owe me nothing more and I don't 'expect' anything further. The dillema isn't a big deal. I'm quite sure I'm an Aries anyhow because I was born around noon (while we don't know exact time, we do know this) and it seems to be the missing puzzle which makes me very different from your typical Capricorn anyway and the descriptions I've read sound almost spot-on.

So the only real question is perhaps what dwads or decans or that expertish stuff you guys know which is of less importance to me right now in my newbie stage of astrology.

I'll go ahead and delete those pics now. Thanks for the signal.
