If you are interested, you can do your declinational equivalents here http://www.astrologyweekly.com/declination/index.php Just type your declination of a planet in (ex: 23°23 N - my Sun) and the convertor will calculate the longitudinal equivalent (26° Sagittarius). The second number is the solstice point of the first one (I only use the first though; because otherwise it gets confusing).
It`s really interesting. In the normal chart Moon is unaspected. In the LE (longitudinal equivalents) it`s conjunct Uranus and Juno and opposing Pluto, close to the declinational nodal axis (I think), and this Uranus-Pluto-colouring of my MOon definitely makes sense, since i have always been torn between the need to feel I belong somewhere, a need for passionate emotions and at the same time the urge for independency and detachment. Of course you can see that in the normal chart, too, since my Aquarius Moon is in the 2nd house, and the ruler of moon house is in Scorpio conjunct 11th cusp, and the old ruler (Saturn) is in Cancer in 8th house. "What I am seeing is that the l.e. chart will show where the native can handle squares and oppositions. It explains why some people do so well with miserable squares and manage to build and shine rather than give up in defeat , and why some people utilize trines so well , yet others just become lazy. I see ways "out" with the l.e.s."That is so cool...I'm going to have to check out my charts when I get home from work. Amazing! 8th

Actually, after reading a bit more, you have to use both positions that astroweekly gives you. They are equally important, since every declinational positions has two equivalents in the zodiac / longitudes.Doing that it seems that Moon, Uranus and Juno are all tightly conjunct falling onto the NN, opposing Pluto on the SN. And Sun trines / sextiles it and Neptune squares it. Also, in the longitudes I don`t have strong Saturnian influence, as it is retograde, in Cancer in 8th house, almost unaspected. But in the equivalent chart it moves into the 7th house conjunct ASC and Vertex and opposing Mars. Definitely resonates with me. IP: Logged |

I looked at the synastry of the declinational equivalent charts with two guys. (my planets first and orb is 3°)1st: Sun conjunct Sun Sun trine Pluto Sun conjunct Lilith Moon square Mars Moon square Neptune Moon conjunct juno] (0) Venus conjunct Mercury (0) Venus conjunct Jupiter Venus conjunct NN Venus trine Eros (0.00 ) Mars conjunct Venus (0) Mars opposite Saturn (0) - there had to be someone spoiling the fun *sighs* Mars conjunct AC (4) Mars trine IC Mars conjunct Antivertex (0) Saturn opposite Venus SAturn conjunct SN Saturn conjunct DC (0) Saturn opposite Destinn Uranus square Mars Uranus conjunct Juno (0) Neptune conjunct Mars Neptune opposite Saturn Npetune square Juno Pluto square Mars Pluto opposite Juno Pluto trine Lilith Pluto conjunct Psyche (3,5) NN conjunct Juno AC conjunct Venus DC conjunct Saturn AC conjunct AC DC conjunct Vertex AC conjunct Destinn Antivertex conjunct Mars Vertex conjunct DC (0) Antivertex conjunct Destinn Karma square Destinn Karma conjunct Eros (0) Destinn trine Venus Destinn opposite Mars Destinn square Pluto Juno square Saturn Juno conjunct Juno Psyche opposite Pluto Psyche conjunct Psyche Eros opposite Moon Eros opposite Karma (0.00 ) Eros trine Eros Lilith trine Moon (0) Lilith conjunct Uranus Lilith square AC Lilith trine Karma Lilith square Destinn Lilith opposite Eros EDIT:
There are some double whammies: Mars / Vertex Saturn / DC Pluto / Psyche Vertex / DC Karma / Eros IP: Logged |

Oh well, while I was looking through some synastries (declinational equivalents), I also came across the one with musicman again. I thought there would have to be something to explain the strong and lasting impact, he had on me.I found some very interesting connections: My Sun trine his Moon (0) my Sun trine his Venus my Sun trine his Juno My Moon opposite his Moon my Moon opposite his Venus my Moon conjunct his Jupiter (0) my Venus trine his Sun (0.00) my Venus square his Mars (0) my Venus trine his NN (0) my Mars opposite his Pluto my Saturn conjunct his Destinn my Uranus opposite his Venus my pluto conjunct his MOon my Pluto conjunct his Venus this indeed explains why I was so insanely drawn to him my NN conjunct his Jupiter my SN conjunct his Juno my DC conjunct his Pluto my Karma conjunct his Eros my Karma conjunct his Sun my Eros trine his Sun my Eros conjunct his NN (0) my juno opposite his Juno my Lilith opposite his Sun my Lilith opposite his Eros Double whammies: Sun / Venus Jupiter / Juno Uranus / Psyche Neptune / Psyche Eros / Lilith But the other interesting part is that his Karma seems to challenge almost everything in my chart:
square my Moon square my Uranus opposite my Neptune square my Pluto square my NN And his Pluto:
opposes my Mars opposes my Neptune squares my NN conjuncts my DC squares my Juno On top of that squares his Eros my Saturn and DSC. It surely explains some thing. IP: Logged |

Darkdreamer,Can I just ask you to confirm the phraseology of working with solstice points. Say: Person A's Sun conjuncts Person B's Venus solstice point, what ways would that be phrased to indicate which person was doing what. ie. in the above case, which is correct.. A's Sun antiscion B's Venus? or A's Sun conjunct B's Venus antiscion?

Probably the correct terminology w ould be: A`s Sun is conjunct the antiscion of B`s Venus. But you could also say A`s Sun is antiscion B`s Venus. I actually prefer the terminology PErson a`s Sun is solstice conjunct Person B`s Venus. But it`s all a matter of preference I guess. IP: Logged |

His natal Sun/Mercury/Venus contrascion my solstice Venus. (on the Libra/Aries axis)and My natal Venus contrascion his solstice Venus, solstice Sun and solstice Mercury. (on the Virgo/Pisces axis) My natal Moon contrascion his solstice Mars. (on the Libra/Aries axis)
and His natal Mars contrascion my solstice Moon. (on the Virgo/Pisces axis) If these two sets of solstice aspects weren't in different spots, you'd think they were the same aspects. They aren't the same aspects counted twice are they? Am I losing my mind? IP: Logged |

.' * '.bump.' * '.Even though Leo and I don't seem to have NN conj anything in each other's natal charts.. the Solstice/Antiscia point shows the growth we both felt that didn't show up in our regular synastry. So you thought about doing an entire synastry with the solstice equivalents, Ceri. How would this be, the connections there? like a subtle underlying "shadow" merging? more like duads?Tell me more, please BTW, it would be nice to have this thread moved to Astrology 2.0 IP: Logged |
