You're not going crazy! Most people have a confusing time with attraction at least once in their life!! I just thought I would throw the above idea in, to give you something else to ponder.... However, I think synastry in astrology is an amazing science. It is full of infinite possibilities!!! Try comparing your chart with other ex's, and you may see how your attractions may be based on different energies.

I personally think that dwads has something to with physical attraction myself. Still working on the theory but it doesn't matter the rising or decanate of the rising but the dwad of it. My rising is in the libra dwad and have noticed that I find gem, aqu and aries dwad people really attractive so far. Also works with the planets too. A theory I'm still developing....

I've often heard Lara say loving yourself is loving others. Maybe it is true with the physical side. Either you regress to love someone who looks like a parent/relative/sibling/nanny etc (ie a part of you) or yourself. That's what the above theory is saying.

I've just been looking at dwads - is very interesting. In fact, my dwads look more like me than my natal..!!!
