Tina Fey's SNLPalin CBS Interview: Bailout = healthcare reform The funny thing is that a lot of Tina's lines are direct quotes from the actual Palin interview. IP: Logged |

This morning someone on T.V asked a Conservative M.P (they are having a conference) why she should vote for their party again, what would they offer her in the economic sitation as a single 50 something struggling to make ends meet? After saying, well I'm in the same age group, but I'm better off I should imagine, he rambled about party policy and never answered her question. He looked confident whilst he did it, though. Meanwhile, the Monster Raving Loony Party have released their new manifesto, including: All Politicians Must Be Fitted With Lie Detectors.

I am an embarrassed American. I hope to God she does not become our VP, let alone our president. I am really questioning my fellow Americans. This should be a serious wake up call for everyone. IP: Logged |

O'Bomber....Iran is not a serious threat.Oh wait, Iran is a grave threat. Not ready for prime time. An illogical, irrational, unreasoning flip flopper who lacks judgement. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaG6s05MKeM&feature=related IP: Logged |

O'Bomber says McCain is RIGHT. On spending cuts: “Well, I think Senator McCain’s absolutely right that we need more responsibility, but we need it not just when there’s a crisis.” On spending cuts II: But John is right we have to make cuts. On earmarks: “Well, Senator McCain is absolutely right that the earmarks process has been abused.." On lobbyists: “He’s also right that oftentimes lobbyists and special interests are the ones that are introducing these kinds of requests, although that wasn’t the case with me.” ***..Yeah O'Bomber asked for almost a Billion dollars in earmarks in the few days he's been present in the Senate. On business taxes being too high: “Now, John mentioned the fact that business taxes on paper are high in this country, and he’s absolutely right.” On violence in Iraq going down: “Senator McCain is absolutely right that the violence has been reduced as a consequence of the extraordinary sacrifice of our troops and our military families.” On POTUS needing to use prudent language: (but added after the McCain bomb, bomb Iran gaffe) “And, John, I — you’re absolutely right that presidents have to be prudent in what they say.” On Iraq being “difficult”: “Now, Senator McCain is also right that it’s difficult. This is not an easy situation.” On not tolerating Iran having nukes: “Senator McCain is absolutely right, we cannot tolerate a nuclear Iran.” Sounds like O'Bomber supports McCain for President. Get with the program and support McCain/Palin; they're right. IP: Logged |

I was rolling when I watched that skit last night. Besides the end and the part about the financial bailout, I also loved the bit about spying on the Russians and telling them to "shoo" if they didn't have a good reason for being in Alaska. I'm so in love with Tina Fey. I've had a girl crush on her for years. And she's a Taurus! Every episode of 30 Rock that I've seen has made me lol, and most tv shows don't do that to me. IP: Logged |

Talk about funny and far better stuff than anything seen on SNL.Little known fact: You could fit 266 states the size of Delaware inside the borders of Alaska. Well known fact: You could fit the entire state of Delaware inside the mouth of Joe O'Biden. I believe science has solved the puzzle of what happens when O'Biden opens his mouth. Like the refrigerator door which when opened, turns on the interior light; O'Biden's hidden switch turns his brain off when he opens his mouth. O'Biden says Hillary may have been a better pick for VP than he is. Hmmm, questioning the very first important decision a presidential nominee, O'Bomber made is stunning. http://www.truveo.com/Unbelievable-Joe-Biden-says-Hillary-Clinton-is/id/2061307662 O'Biden tells a State Senator, a paraplegic, to stand up. Ouch!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2mzbuRgnI4 O'Biden, in an effort to pump O'Bomber up, compares O'Bomber to American President FDR; whom O'Biden says went on TV when the stock market crashed in 1929 to reassure the American people. Video since removed from the Internet to reassure American voters O'Biden is not an idiot. Problem, FDR was not elected President until 1932 and took office in January 1933. Further problem, television was not yet invented in 1929. The first televised appearance of a President occurred in 1939. O'Biden says America is not going to build coal fired electric generating plants, sticking a pin in the balloon of O'Bomber's Energy Plan for America http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rXyTRT-NZg O'Bomber says coal production and use is part of his energy plan for America. There are 18,000,000 Hillary voters who would agree with O'Biden that Hillary is a better candidate for VP than he is. There are 18,000,000 Hillary voters who would say that Hillary is a better candidate for president than O'Bomber is. I'm not a Hillary voter but I would agree with Hillary voters on both counts. taurean_scorpion

writesomething, since when is the truth "propaganda". Not a rhetorical question there writesomething...or:Perhaps you believe O'Bomber/O'Biden didn't say what I said they said. If that's the case, then your way is clear to refute...with clear and convincing proof to the contrary. Have at it, though my personal opinion is that you cannot refute it and your intent is to protect O'Bomber/O'Biden, with misdirection, from the consequences of their own hype and baloney.

I'm sooo happy washed up Hollywood types and empty headed twit...so called news types are on the side of O'Bomber/O'Biden. We wouldn't permit them to join the ranks of normal Americans under any circumstances..the ranks of those who actually have values. Here's one. Warning, excessive profanity in this brain dead rant against Governor Sarah Palin...something to make leftists feel so proud to be leftists. http://michellemalkin.com/2008/09/19/miserable-provocateur-rails-against-con servative-women-again/ IP: Logged |

Little known fact: The entire population of Alaska is smaller than the city of San Francisco. _________________ While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75-year-old Texas rancher whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Sarah Palin and her bid to be a heartbeat away from being President. The old rancher said, "Well, ya know, Palin is a post turtle." Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a post turtle was. The old rancher said, "When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a post turtle." The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain. "You know she didn't get up there by herself, she doesn't belong up there, she doesn't know what to do while she is up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put her up there to begin with."

Nice try acoustic but no cigar...not for truthfullness or humor.Governor Palin is where she is and was where she was..Mayor and Governor on her own ability and efforts. To get to the Governors office she had to fight her own party and the demoscat party too. To accomplish what she accomplished, she fought the oil companies...and won..on her own. She fought the pipeline companies and state legislature to build a natural gas pipeline..one of the biggest and most expensive projects in the US and she won..on her own, with the force of her personality and the strength of her arguments. Now, if there is a true "fence turtle" in this election, it's Barack Hussein O'Bomber, King of Kool-Aid. The guy with no resume, no experience and a lot of hot air...plus the support of every radical socialist group in the United States. That's not getting there..on his own. IP: Logged |

I didn't watch the Couric gala acoustic. As I told you, I don't like fairy tales posing as news.As for Couric herself, it is a joke on CBS News that they're paying her 15 million dollars to drive their news ratings even further into the toilet. One would have thought that after Dan Blather's phony documents story blew up in CBS News faces they would have straightened up and started reporting the news..straight. Here's some context on Perky Katie Couric and her interview with Governor Sarah Palin. September 26, 2008 Unprecedented Disrespect of Governor Palin by Media Rick Moran File this one under "Things the liberal media does that makes them look petty and stupid." You are not going to believe this, but Katie Couric and the entire CBS news division are refusing to refer to Sarah Palin with the honorific "Governor." Couric herself pleaded with CBS management for permission not to include Palin's legitimate title when addressing her or when publishing the transcript on the CBS website........... http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2008/09/unprecedented_disrespect_of_go.html And so called "News" morons wonder why they are despised by normal people in the United States. Go figure, there must be a school especially for airheads somewhere in the US. Oh yeah, I forgot...Columbia School of Journalism.

Columbia School of Journalism? Who are you referring to? Couric went to the University of Virginia, and didn't major in journalism (she majored in English and History). The only trained journalist at that interview was Palin, who was also the least prepared.IP: Logged |

Why is this thread even here? Last time I checked, this forum was called "Astrology". Usually astrology posts are found here. Palin's chart has been discussed, why does there need to be multiple out of control threads dedicated to her and others in the election?? IP: Logged |
