Well, I hate to say, I plead guilty.

My teenage step-daughter is Saggittarius Rising. She has an executive style of dress, lots of pastel shades and tailoring. Lots of make-up.

For myself, I have Aries ASC with Jupiter in the 1st and Venus in Sagittarius. I'm terribly casual when it comes to dressing. I tend to wear bright colours and I wear a lot of red, which is the Aries ASC. I like leather shoes and bags so I try to stick to that. Prefer black shoes as I have big feet but my shoe collection has rather electric colours. Oddly don't have black clothes apart from one top and a pair of slacks, anyway I don't like the balls of fluff that black collects, hard to maintain. I'm usually found in denim. I am very anal about colour coordination and I would say that is my Libran Moon. I am also very fond of jewellery and normally wear at least one piece of jewellery even to the shops. Earrings are very important and feminise so I try to wear earrings and necklaces. I think ears are ruled by Saturn?? I try to stick to natural materials, probably caused by my first house partly being in Taurus (as well as necklace) as well as spritz of perfume (I'm trying to get through 125mL bottle of it at the moment so that's more to do with pragmatism but again Tau). This is all not withstanding that I am normally wearing some cheap polycotton top.

I never wear make-up. When I work, I am quite careful and am very different in my clothes and do wear make-up. I am very formal and used to wear suits in previous jobs. Suits suit me because I am Aries rising and have broad shoulders and narrow hips (notwithstanding the generosity in other parts of my body).

BM - look to your step-daughter's Venus placement for more information. Sag rising would indicate a casual laidback approach to dressing. Power dressing and suits might be a Cap thing. Make-up maybe feminine signs or mutable (changing appearance).

EDIT - I have a lot of "ethnic" tops, symptomatic of Sag influence. Two of my favourite tops are Vietnamese style that I bought in Saigon last year. They are bright red with yellow flowers and bright pink with blue flowers. Both silk. I try to stay away from synthetic materials because of skin problems but also I prefer natural materials anyway. Again probably the Tau in the first.

Interesting about the black. This may seem strange, but I don't wear black. As a curvacious type - I should to hide the soft spots - but it just doesn't suit me. I think black looks good on everyone on the planet except me - I just can't wear it.

I can wear red very well - very Aries.

I think my style is from a combination of factors.

Over the past year, I've jazzed up a bit, but I was working with someone who's Venus Leo was engaging my AC Libra. I became interested in make up again, etc...which for me had been years since I've dabbled.

Unique is a big thing for me. I usually make my own jewelry or buy from someone else who finds interesting pieces and they build from that. I love the idea that I have the only one and, like others have mentioned, labels and cloned items are kind of a turn off. (I have Uranus opposite Sun.)

But COZY can play a big factor in clothing too. In truth, my favorite clothing item is a soft comfy pair of sweats. (Pisces sun?)

But my style goes in phases and I am influenced by the relationships going on in my life, as well as transits and progressions, I'm sure.

23 has a point. I dress more like a Venus in 11th and Mars in 1st. I look different according to where I am and who I'm with. My personal style doesn't change but it does blend with my surroundings. I also dress like a person on the move with outfits that can change by dressing it up or down according to where I get taken. Lol. Generally, I dress in a way that won't leave me sticking out anywhere I go. It makes me look more sophisticated than casual.

at home it's a disaster. I'm usually in a t-shirt and boxers. Shameful. I know. Lol. I couldn't care less at home.

I can say that as AC Libra I like nice dressing: half sporty and half elegant. I like 2 or 3 colours. No more.

I guess i dress like a Cappy rising....
artsy....or jeans and a nice shirt. My wardrobe consits of mostly earth tones and greys. i've way too many pairs of shoes. I've been told many times that I look 'classy'...which always amuses me.

I like clothes that are form fitting and enhance my curves but aren't trashy or tacky. I don't wear jewelry but I love makeup, and I like to keep my hair down, and long..either straight or wavy..and I dye it dark (naturally blond).
