i am not embarrassed to have an opinion, so don't worry about me. and you may have noticed that i am trying NOT to be rude and derogatory about your opinions, because that is what they are and you are entitled to them. the man does not appear to be terribly radical to me, though he is forward thinking and does have some ideas about how things could be done differently. or do you think we should just keep going on down the same old timeworn outmoded road to oblivion?? progress happens, jwhop, get over it!

There's nothing embarrassing about pointing out that Hitler was philosophically at odds with American Democrats, and always will be. What's embarrassing is trying to make the case that Obama is like Hitler, while denouncing him for the same reasons Hitler would. It illustrates a real misunderstanding of what Hitler was about.

quote:
I do care when people attempt to label O'Bomber as a democrat.

That statement is devoid of any logic whatsoever. He is a Democrat, running as a Democrat. Why would people feel the need to "attempt to label" him as such when he's already labeled as such?

quote:
There's nothing democratic about the demoscat party...as the theft..by hook and by crook..of the nomination from Hillary proved.

We've already discussed how horribly misinformed you are on this issue. Nothing was stolen from her, and she broke the rules she submitted to at the start of the primaries.

You lost and you lost the argument in the worst possible way...big time.

Hitler was a Socialist. Mussolini was a Socialist. Barack Hussein is a Socialist...a Socialist who is adopting symbols and programs straight out the Nazi Party..the indoctrination of children and the Nazi Brown Shirts...those would be from ...The National Socialist German Workers Party.

You may not be embarrassed. You may not even be capable of feeling embarrassment but, you sure as hell should be embarrassed...by your lack of knowledge, by your lack of being able to detail a single thing in THE ONE's past which would remotely qualify him to be President...other than that he meets the age requirement.

Something interesting.

O'Bomber has failed to respond to a Federal lawsuit challenging his US citizenship. He's in danger of a default judgment..which means he doesn't "legally" challenge the allegations he was not born in the United States, his birth certificate is a forgery and he's not Constitutionally qualified to run for President of the United States.

Now help me out here.

Isn't O'Bomber supposed to be one of the bright lites in legal beagle circles. Isn't O'Bomber the guy who taught Constitutional Law at University of Chicago? Yep to both.

So, how does such a towering legal mind not know he must respond to a federal suit within 20 days or be in danger of having a default judgment declared against him...which is an admission that the allegations in the compliant are true?

Gee, any first year law student knows you must specifically deny each and every allegation alleged in a compliant and within the time frame allowed..20 days...or you admit the allegations are true and are not challenging them. You must "Answer" the allegations. A motion to dismiss the lawsuit is not an "Answer".

I didn't lose. I can't lose an argument that you can't win. That's a logical impossibility.

How do you think the suit's going to go? Do you actually think it's going to do anything, and do you think the challenge to his citizenship is going to be found to have merit?

Any more conspiracy theories you want to throw out while you're here?

one thing i will agree with you on, jwhop, is that hillary WAS NOT ALLOWED TO HAPPEN this election. i heard that from a friend with friends in washington well over a year before the primaries.

but it was not the democrats who did not allow it to happen. the fear of hillary goes farther than her party's politics. there is a level at which politics have nothing to do with the parties and everything to do with big business and corporate government. hillary is not popular with these people and they were not prepared to have to face her down in office...

i did not say mccain was a hypnotic speaker. he does, however, use hypnotic triggers which circumvent the need for good speech-making - something the republicans have used for decades to make them appeal to the basic comfort instincts of the general populace, whom they judge to be not so interested in issues as the illusion of safety and fuzzy warm feelings; he uses reagan's name over and over, talks about his personal heartfelt conversations with soldiers' mom's and if it weren't too obvious and outdated would no doubt work apple pie into his addresses too!

to be frank, the democrats who have won in the last few elections have also employed the common-man, fuzzy-familiar feelgood technique to good advantage as well. who is more good old boy in public than bill clinton? and jimmy carter had that hayseed appeal as well. despite the fact that bill clinton may be the smartest man who ever sat in the oval office, it was his populist touch which got him the job...

The nomination wasn't stolen from Hillary by rich business people...from either the demoscat rich or the Republican rich.

The nomination was stolen from Hillary by team O'Bomber in collaboration with the elitists team at the Howard Dean DNC and elitist Super Delegates. The whole demoscat nominating process was instituted to produce the candidate the elitists wanted and what the people wanted be damned. Super Delegates make up almost 1/3 of the entire number of delegates and they don't get elected to the nominating convention by the primary voters.

The Democrat Party should change their name. There's nothing democratic within the upper echelons of that political party.

Was there an answer in there some place to my question..What has O'Bomber ever done which qualifies O'Bomber to be President of the United States? I ask lots of people that question, get blank stares...because there's not a single thing he has done...but then it comes out..O'Bomber is for change. Hahahahaha, they don't know what that even means but it's all they can think of when pressed.

More proof O'Bomber is exactly the leftist Socialist radical poser I said he is. Denial will get you nowhere. Denial is a sign of either a total lack of reasoning ability or intellectual dishonesty so thick it could be cut with a knife.

I would have more respect for those who acknowledged that O'Bomber is a radical Socialist leftist...who said.. I know that and "I'm going to vote for O'Bomber anyway". At least there's some honesty there.

I don't know what's going to happen with the lawsuit challenging O'Bomber's Constitutional qualifications to run for President. I do know this. The Secretary of State of each state is charged with the duty to ascertain whether or not candidates are qualified for the elected offices they seek...before putting their name on a general election ballot. That duty requires more than a casual glance at a birth certificate with the certificate number blacked out. O'Bomber could have ended this at any time. While the suit on it's face may seem wild, the courts have an obligation to uphold the "Federal Rules of Civil Procedure" in all proceedings before them. A federal suit requires an "Answer". A motion to dismiss is not an "Answer". A written "Denial of all the allegations" filed with the Court IS an "Answer" and that wasn't done.

you would probably get more answers if your arguments made any rational sense. repeating your accusations over and over doesn't make them true. you are a typical conservative who considers anyone left of center to be socialist, and i don't even consider obama to be left of anything except conservative. it is the so called republicans who have pushed this economy to the point where the only solution looks like government taking over the banking system! how very free market THAT is!!

obama has executive experience - way more than ms p from alaska - plus political experience...and BRAINS. face it, you just don't like him. that is okay. that is why most people vote. the issues are actually subordinate to the CHARACTER of the man in office, this has been played out plenty of times. the issues change and change back again. it is how you deal with life that matters...

Really? O'Bomber has more executive experience than Sarah Palin? The same Sarah Palin who was Mayor of a city...an executive position.."top executive". The same Sarah Palin who IS Governor of Alaska...another "top executive" position?

OK, I'll bite. Now name all the executive positions O'Bomber has ever held in his life. Hint..State Senator is not an executive position..it's a legislative position. Hint, US Senator is not an executive position...it's a legislative position.

Go for it...and I'll sit right by my monitor waiting for you to list all of O'Bomber's "executive experience" which exceeds Sarah Palin's "executive experience.

Hahaha, you think Republicans..and/or conservatives caused the meltdown in the financial markets? Are you getting your news out of Cracker Jacks boxes?

The mess in financial markets was caused by demoscats; in particular Bill Clinton..aka Kommander Korruption, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, ACORN, O'Bomber, Franklin Rains, Tim Johnson and Jamie Goerlick..the last 3 listed looted Fannie Mae of something in excess of 160 Million dollars. The others got campaign contributions from Freddie and Fannie and prevented Republicans from tightening financial controls on these two entities created by the Congress of the United States.

The Cracker Jacks News Channel doesn't cut the mustard.

The woman lied! grrrrrrrrrr

PITTSBURGH – A McCain campaign volunteer made up a story of being robbed, pinned to the ground and having the letter "B" scratched on her face in a politically inspired attack, police said Friday.

Ashley Todd, 20-year-old college student from College Station, Texas, admitted Friday that the story was false and was being charged with making a false report to police, said Maurita Bryant, the assistant chief of the police department's investigations division. Police doubted her story from the start, Bryant said.

Todd, who is white, told police she was attacked by a 6-foot-4 black man Wednesday night. She now can't explain why she invented the story, Bryant said.

Todd also told police she believes she cut the backward "B" onto her own cheek, but she didn't explain how or why, Bryant said.

Todd initially told investigators she was attempting to use a bank branch ATM when the man approached her from behind, put a knife with a 4- to 5-inch blade to her throat and demanded money. She told police she handed the assailant $60 and walked away.

Todd told investigators that she suspected the man then noticed a John McCain sticker on her car, became angry and punched her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground and telling her "you are going to be a Barack supporter," police said.

She said he continued to punch and kick her while threatening "to teach her a lesson for being a McCain supporter," police said. She said he then sat on her chest, pinned her hands down with his knees and scratched a backward letter "B" into her face with a dull knife.

Todd told police she didn't seek medical attention, but instead went to a friend's apartment nearby and called police about 45 minutes later.

The Associated Press could not immediately locate Todd's family.

Bryant said somebody charged with making a false report would typically be cited and sent a summons. But because police have concerns about Todd's mental health, they are consulting with the Allegheny County District Attorney. She remained in custody and was awaiting arraignment.

Todd worked in New York for the College Republican National Committee before moving two weeks ago to Pennsylvania, where her duties included recruiting college students, the committee's executive director, Ethan Eilon, has said.

Eilon declined to comment on the investigation Friday or to help The Associated Press contact Todd.

Earlier Friday, police said they had found inconsistencies in Todd's story. They gave her a lie-detector test, but wouldn't release the polygraph results. Investigators also said bank surveillance photos did not back up the woman's initial story of being attacked at an ATM.

Police interviewed Todd after she contacted police Wednesday night and again on Thursday, Bryant said. They asked her to come back Friday, ostensibly to help police put together a sketch of the man. Instead, detectives began interviewing her.

"They just started talking to her and she just opened up and said she wanted to tell the truth," Bryant said.

Bryant said it doesn't appear that anyone else put the woman up to the false report.

Police suspected all along that Todd might not be telling the truth, starting with the fact that the "B" was backward, Bryant said.

"We have robbers here in Pittsburgh, but they don't generally mutilate someone's face like that," Bryant said. "They just take the money and run."

so my guess is whoever wins, we are going to have some ugly racist incidents around the fact that a man of mixed blood is running for president. people like jwhop who jump to the conclusion that such incidents (even if they were REAL) prove that obama is sending goons out to "persuade" the other side are plentiful i am sure.

even if this was a real incident, and even if the man was an obama supporter, that does not mean his actions were condoned or inspired by obama. there are going to be black people voting for obama because of his colour, just as there are whites voting the other side for the same reason. and people will behave badly in whatever way mirrors their character (or lack of!)

perhaps this is just the opportunity we need to show us all who we are and how much healing we are in need of. as i mentioned before, the astrology is in place for a repeat of the thirties, in fact we have been doing a pretty good updated version of the 20's for the past decade or so. (actually it was during reagan's administration that the lenders started offering outrageous incentives for borrowing - i remember applying for a loan which had an entry into a draw for a rolls royce as a carrot attached to it...in 1988 when most of this board was still in grade school)

what are we going to do with the energies?? create more hatred and world war III? very possible. you decide.

jwhop i am fully aware that the senate is not an executive position. obama is pushing 48 and has had other jobs!!

i am also fully aware that when you or your friends realize the government owns your house, you will probably blame obama's "leftism" even though it is bush's government who has put that into position. i know people who were in the SDS back in the 60's. they were children then...idealists who thought we could do better. and they are still hoping for change, but they live the same normal life as most people, they pay their taxes and seek change by more peaceful means. this country is supposed to allow people to agree to disagree. things do need to change. the free market allows movement up and down the ladder but it IS somewhat rigged. as is every system of government ever devised.

I believe that Saturn-Uranus opposition during the Election Day is the old vs. new
the old way of doing things vs. the new way of doing things

it can be constricting change.
but it can also be changing rigidity

it can be about shaking up the establishment
but also it be about the establishment controlling the ability to change

lets face it....if mixed black/white man becomes elected president, that would be a major change because every president before that was a white man. Many whites aren't use to anybody other than white males as leader of their nation. Some might even fear that blacks could have too much power just like many blacks believe that whites have to much power.

If McCain gets elected, there can be a lot of grumbling about things are too rigid and conservative here and that too many people are set in their ways as well as letting fears get the better of them that they resist change. Having a white male president will appear the safe choice. Saturn has to do with fears, reservations.

Saturn oppose Uranus can also be conservatism vs. liberalism

look at the polarization of the McCain campaign ......the us vs. them bit
"the Pro-America areas of the country" was something that Sarah Palin said.

Saturn oppose Uranus can be about steadiness vs. erraticness

another thing to keep in mind is that Saturn is the traditional ruler of Aquarius which is a fixed sign. There is a rigidity about Aquarius that it can relate to Saturn. Saturn and Uranus are viewed as co-rulers of Aquarius.

The United States' moon is in Aquarius.

The USA has Sun square Saturn which indicates the conservative, rigidity that the country has

The election could end up with McCain elected because the American people are too conservative to want change.

but it can be hard to argue who is more risky and who is more safe...some could say Barack is risky and McCain is safe and others would say McCain is risky and McCain is safe.

it all comes down to perceptions which vary in us humans.

I was wondering about the Saturn/Uranus midpoint and its Sabian Symbol degree

I checked
November 4, 2008
Washington,DC
noon

Saturn/Uranus midpoint in 18'57 Sagittarius

I checked out Sabian Symbol

19 Sagittarius
Pelicans Disturbed By The Garbage Of People Move Their Young To A New

Keywords: Concerns with survival. The endeavor to achieve mental, physical,or emotional wellbeing or peace. Noise and other irritants that make life difficult. Looking out for the safety and security of one's children, home, or creative ventures. Feeling unsafe. Conditions being insecure and unpredictable. Having nowhere to rest.

Caution: Mess and rubbish left around. Not being prepared to compromise or cohabit. People not being able to live together. Fouling of one's nest. Theings are being done "for your own good." regardless of what you want. Noise driving people out. Leases running out.

Now it appears he's in default in a Federal lawsuit. While the suit on it's face may seem wild, the courts have an obligation to uphold the "Federal Rules of Civil Procedure" in all proceedings before them. A federal suit requires an "Answer". A motion to dismiss is not an "Answer". A written "Denial of all the allegations" filed with the Court IS an "Answer" and that wasn't done."

A federal judge in Philadelphia last night threw out a complaint by a Montgomery County lawyer who claimed that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was not qualified to be president and that his name should be removed from the Nov. 4 ballot.
Philip J. Berg alleged in a complaint filed in federal district court on Aug. 21 against Obama, the Democratic National Committee and the Federal Election Commission, that Obama was born in Mombasa, Kenya.

Obama and the Democratic National Committee had asked Surrick to dismiss Berg's complaint in a court filing on Sept. 24.

They said that Berg's claims were "ridiculous" and "patently false," that Berg had "no standing" to challenge the qualifications of a candidate for president because he had not shown the requisite harm to himself.

Surrick agreed.

In a 34-page memorandum and opinion, the judge said Berg's allegations of harm were "too vague and too attenuated" to confer standing on him or any other voters.

Surrick ruled that Berg's attempts to use certain laws to gain standing to pursue his claim that Obama was not a natural-born citizen were "frivolous and not worthy of discussion."

The judge also said the harm Berg alleged did "not constitute an injury in fact" and Berg's arguments to the contrary "ventured into the unreasonable."

Thank God. What really ****** me off is this was a fellow democrat that did this. This wasn't a Republican. all because he wanted Hillary Clinton to be president.

Why doesn't he just change parties? He seems to belong with the Republicans. The same old GOP tactics.

grrrrrrrrr
