It's an alien world. I just don't know any women like this ~ but then that would be my locale. This is the Midlands ~ we have biker tatts, drink beer in pint glasses and call each other mate. Think Ozzy in a dress. Sometimes it can get a bit fluffy on here when the twinflame obsession strays into Disneyland, but to each their own. It doesn't bother me, and in any case I post my fair amount on the pink and fluffy beast that is Godzala, so I'm in no position to be critical. Men do silly as well. IP: Logged |

A lot of women can't stand what society deems as "girly" mainly because most of it is crap.I won't say whether I'm "girly" or a "tomboy" because honestly, I like a lot of girly things, but I don't buy into the appeal of the "wife and mother" role. That said, I love my female friends. It may be easier for me to make male friends, but that's because I've mastered charming men. I've never really not had a guy in my life, so I don't know. I like having a male perspective around. I have loads of male friends, I consider them my brothers. IP: Logged |

LMAO!! We are pink and fluffy, aren't we? Whatever. You know you want to have a nice candlelit dinner and a long walk on the beach with Sean Bean! I can sense it! IP: Logged |

Well in my case...hmmm...at times I can, at times I don't need them. I have venus sextile mars. I'm tomboyish but sometimes very girly. My girlfriends are more important to me-and those I can't live without. They're the ones that support me.IP: Logged |

Men are OK, they don't play nasty games like girls. You'll know if they like you or don't like you. No man has ever infuriated me to the point of another woman. At most, I get disappointed in them. However, I don't think you can share secrets or be close to a man like PA said unless they're gay. If you do get close to a male, it is on their terms as well, you are one of the boys are you are privy to their pervings on women, thoughts on women and blokish things all round. As PA said, you shut up and don't say anything. Been there. However, when it comes to matters of sex or drive aimed at you, then watch out, that's when they can be deceptive. I say this opinion of men because I have Mars trine Pluto, Mars opp Neptune. IP: Logged |

Ugh! I tried to express my dislike of this behaviour when I said disliked SATC and freakin' fashion tragics. That effing fantasy wedding despite divorce rates going through the roof! IP: Logged |

I used to watch SATC because of Samantha and I loved when she let go of Smith in the movie so she could be independent again. IP: Logged |

Interesting Question Well, with my venus conjunct mars, I definaetly can't live without men....is as if i force myself to admire some men. With my 8th house stellium (venus, mars and jupiter) I get very jelouse when I see someone I have an eye even TALKING to another women With my moon trine pluto, women find me as being threatening, and it's funny because there were alot of cases I've exprierenced where it looked the women didn't want me around when they're with their guy.I mean not sound concieted, but men sort of gravitate towards me and make the first move. Interesting topic. I've continuously been in a serious relationship for 9 years now, so I've almost forgotten what it's like to be without a man. But at the same time, I know I can live without a relationship - I did it before, I'd easily do it again. So, I could live without a MAIN MAN... but I would be bored without male friends. Females are ok but I don't tend to form lasting female friendships - for some reason it's just *not there* for me and a lot of female "friendships" just come off as superficial to me. It really takes a very special person for me to form a close bond with. I'm a bit suspicious and keep to myself by nature (Scorpio moon), so the bonds aren't formed very easily. quote: Men are OK, they don't play nasty games like girls. I like my freedom but I also like a man in my life. By choice, I've been celibate/single for over eight years until I met the guy I'm with now, and he does not understand my need for space.IP: Logged |

Been taking a bit of an astrology break, and getting over the flu - I need to find the Orange/Wahlberg thread again. deuxantares - in my fantasy/ideal world where there are no hurt feelings, I would have various boyfriends who met my personality's different needs. That is of course my Venus in Gemini wanting fun and stimulation from a variety of sources. There would be no jealousy and it would be all about meeeeee!

Thanks! Hope you have a good break yourself. I was just watching a video of Placebo performing with this guy Justin Warfield - never heard of him before but he struck me as having something Wahlbergian (I coined a new term!) about him. Will post in the Orange/Wahlberg thread when I find it... IP: Logged |

Do you mean romantically? I feel like a hypocrite saying this since I'm in an LTR, but yes, I can live happily w/o a relationship. I have my 5th house ruler cnj my Sun, and maybe that's why I don't need a love relationship in my life to feel those "in love" feelings. The sky was just as gloriously blue when I was single; the day offered just as much adventure and glimpses of the divine. So I've never been the type to seek out a guy to fall for so that I could feel that high that comes with wanting someone. I've fallen for particular men, not because I'm in love with love, but because I've been in love with them as individuals. Even though I can live w/o the romance of a love affair, I don't think I'd want to live w/o sex. (Sco Asc, Sun in the 2nd, Mars cnj Jupiter.) It's impossible for me to lie to myself about how I feel about someone. (Venus in Cap.) So if I was single and there was no man on the scene who I felt lovey-dovey feelings for, I think I'd have a sex buddy. I'm not sure how I'd like that though. I've always had strong feelings for my sex partners. But if you just meant men in general, then no I can't live w/o men because some of my closest friends are men. Friendship is something I couldn't live happily without. IP: Logged |

i certainly can live without men, but if i were to choose, i'd say living with someone you deeply care for / love, but have your private space as well.I like relationships - scorpio sun and venus here - but i also like my space - aqua moon :PIP: Logged |
