Hm...I'm guessing job already accomplished is referring to self-transformation and transmutation? In my case it, asc-ruler the moon (with only positive aspects, even to pluto) sits in my 8th. As for the focus on sexuality and so-called needs, I find this to be to be an underwhelming assessment unless Sublimation or Alchemy is the topic. Sex would be more important to me for pleasures sake if I had a sacred partner to consummate that with, otherwise, sex and moreso proactive sexuality do not matter to me as an apparent value-system anymore. From a budding sexual life (generic, early 20s yr old experiences) to a return to my most natural state, a-sexual or simply, tantric-potential and self-possessed. As a very young child and teen I was highly fascinated by these more generic and tokenized 8th house topics like “death and sex”, but as I've evolved I've begun to recognize that the terms used to describe this house are borrowed—that what really goes on here doesn't have words for it—largely unspoken for, or the invisible, subaltern side of life, is yet to be understood by science or people.
And that most people don't know or understand themselves at all, usually fed by rationalization or worse, based on a feedback loop off externalization. This, in others, beginning with myself, my ASC Ruler in the 8th house can see all too clearly. There are only two behavioral mechanisms in this life to contend with at every moments notice, faith or fear. Hope my rambling gave shed some light on what I quoted. IP: Logged |

I find this really interesting! My Venus chart ruler, as a Libra rising, is unafflicted in Taurus 8th house. My sexuality, or rather lack thereof as an asexual, has always been a completely uncomplicated part of who I am. I was naturally made this way and I've embraced it 100%. Rasing awareness of asexuality and aromanticism, and helping others accept themselves as asexual or the asexuality of a loved one, is a big part of my life.
