The ex whose Saturn was conjunct my sun (we dated when Saturn was on my DC)...well, it took me years to get over him, even longer to stop being mad at him. To some degree, he's still a model of what I'd like in a relationship (his Aquarian sun was conjunct my Juno). Much to my surprise, the one time I ran into him he said he thought about me too. Surprising considering that he dumped me wholeheartedly (and when an Aquarian ex no longer wants to be friends, that's BAD...I was godawful at age 21). I was so tempted to jump into some kind of relationship with him again, even though I knew better. Luckily for me he knew better that I'm a psycho and didn't contact me afterwards. But there's some binding for ya. Can't forget that one no matter how hard you try.

My ex-fiance, who I was with for longer, but has NO Saturn aspects with me? Well, I got over him dumping me in about an hour.

His Sun conjust my Saturn
His Venus conjuct my Saturn
His Saturn sextile my Moon
His Saturn conjuct my Neptune

His saturn in is my first house also.

I hope I heal from this quickly because feeling crushed is the worst feeling ever.

Wow, Saturn is that intense, huh? My new boyfriend and I have several Saturn aspects...

My Saturn opposition his Moon / his Saturn square my Moon
My Saturn trine his Mercury / his Saturn square my Mercury
My Saturn square his Mars / his Saturn trine my Mars
My Saturn trine his Jupiter (which I hear is awesome)
Double whammys: Saturn square Venus, Saturn square Saturn. Saturn square Venus is really bad I hear, but we both have it in the natal -- so is it really felt?

Its that Saturn is so much about karma. You don't want Saturn aspects, you "need" them, though they are not always so pleasant. Saturn trine Venus, a Saturn Bond, will tie you together until you both work through it. There will be responsibility, and less joy than you would have together without the saturn linkage.

I have the craziest Saturn aspects with someone.
I am SO attratced, not in a physical sense, but like, the attraction is psychic, something deep, some unfinished business.. "Karmic".

His Saturn :
- opposite my Moon (0°)
- square my Mars (0°)
- square my ASC, and my NN/SN (2°)
- trine my Venus and Jupiter (0°)
(halellujah for this one!)

My Saturn :
- opposite his Moon (yep, DW) (2°)
- widely square his Venus (6°)
- widely opposite his Mars (6°)

I just CAN'T get this person out of.. myself.
It's been a year and a half, we've never been together, but I know it is mutual.

Unfortunately Saturn needs a LOT of work to get things started. But I guess once you're in, it's very difficult to break the tie indeed.

They say that Saturn is the one who is the more insecure. Saturn fears the planet person will leave.

But I guess the planet person feels it too, maybe to another extent though? I don't really know, I don't have much experience with Saturn yet.

Well it is the first time I am conciously experiencing it as in, I know the charts.

But I don't really have the impression from the behaviour that the other person would even bother to think twice when I stop showing up.

ME TOO.
OMG. It's like they don't give a damn.

BUT what if it's just a poker face?
What if they just don't want to show their weaknesses and admit that they'd be broken if we left?

Hmm..*thinking*

Ugh, maybe it is the saturn getting to me.

Let me just say, she D@MN well better miss me as much as I miss her otherwise it is unfair.

Moon opposition my Saturn
Venus opposition my Saturn
Mars sextile my Saturn
Saturn conjunction my Jupiter
Saturn conjunction my Neptune
Saturn sextile my Pluto
North node trine my saturn
Saturn square my Juno
Saturn square my Vesta
Pluto conjunct my saturn

Sun, Mercury, Mars and Neptune ruled by saturn in composite.

Composite Mercury Trine Saturn, Venus Square Saturn, Composite Jupiter Tri-Decile Saturn and Composite Saturn Semi-Sextile Neptune

Also, according to Walter Pullen on astro.com, Saturn is my strongest planet and #2 for her.

This might be too big of an orb to count, but I do.

My Saturn scorp 18°31'12
vs
Her IC scorp 25°51'44

However

Her Moon Taurus 14°33'37
Her Venus Taurus 16°18'32
My IC Taurus 15°17'26
and opposite my Scorp MC, which is conjunct her Pluto by under 3

What would these synastry aspects of Saturn tell me:

His Saturn opposition my Moon
His Saturn conjunct my Mars
His Saturn trine my Mercury
His Saturn sesqui-quadrate my Sun
His Saturn square my Venus

My Saturn squares his Mercury
My Saturn sextile his Pluto.

My Saturn is in his H10, his Saturn is in my H4.

Would love an opinion on the above, with regard to during and after a friendship or relationship...

Thanks
Rachel

Please read this, it's long but VERY informative : http://alcuin9.wordpress.com/2009/10/13/synastry-studies-the-mcic-part-two-aspects-and-inter-aspects/

Rachel, you may want to read the article in the link above, as the 10th/4th houses are concerned.

From these aspects alone, I would think he cares A LOT about you. Him being the Saturn, he fears losing you, but can't express his feelings to you. He may appear cold or indifferent, but there is definitely a tie there.
You should be patient, no matter what, and if you want him to open up to you, you mustn't push him, but wait patiently and prove that you are worth it, that you are reliable and secure.

Hope this helps.

Doux Reve - Oh my actual God! - You could not have been more accurate if you lived in my house with me! That is exactly the situation, exactly.

I won't go in to long and boring details, but I am going to show your post to my best friend who, from a real life observation point of view, has said almost exactly the same thing. I'd been pushing and it wasn't working - I've learned not to and things are going swimmingly. Also, when I wasn't getting reactions I wanted I was playing games like making him doubt me, not speaking to him for a while etc - me thinking it would make him come running, of course all it did was silence him even more. Since I've been 'real' and honest, reliable, consistent and secure, his reactions are completely wonderful. I am totally gobsmacked at how wrong I had been getting it - I'm not used to having to learn from anyone, I usually just 'know'.

*Thank you* - genuinely.

Rachel
P.S. Will read article now with a nice cup of tea!

We have crazy Saturn (lots of DW) - check this out:

His Saturn

Opposite my Sun
Square my Moon
Sextile my Jupiter
Opposite my Saturn
Conjunct my Uranus
Sectile my Neptune
Opposite my Chiron
Sextile my Karma
Conjunct my Pluto
Sextile my Ascendant

My Saturn
Trine his Sun
Opposite his Moon
Opposite his Saturn
Trine his Uranus
Square his Neptune
Semi-Square his Chiron
Opposite his Karma
Quincunx his Juno
Sextile his Psyche
Trine his MC

I've been trying to forget him. We left it on good terms but with unfinished business (it's complicated). He has amazing self control and doesn't respond when I get weak and reach out. Luckily those moments are getting fewer and farther between, but he's still on my mind 24/7.

I often wonder if he feels the pull as much as I do... such a waste.

I feel the same way, can't seem to forget the guy and just wonder if he feels the same.

I always found, no matter the bond, that anything tided to Saturn is like trying to break titanium steal with hands: Can't be done!

It only works if the two people NEVER stay in contact or see each. It'll prevent them from re-hashing anything.

I do have a best friend that has her Sun in Sagittarius conjuncts in general orbs to my Saturn in Sagittarius. We've been best friends for about 16 years...

I've also had some on/off attraction to men with strong Gemini aspects. One of my close guy friends has a Gemini Sun... and he has a Scorpio Saturn that has a general conjunct to my Scorpio Moon/Pluto. It's always been a pull-tug friendship.

Then there is another guy, that no matter what, I think I'll always be attracted to because his moon in Gemini against my Sagittarius Saturn/Uranus and my Gemini Mars. (Both born the same year, so we both have the same Saturn/Uranus Signs in Sagittarius).

JoJo, Doux Reve - I know just what you mean, and its a horrible situation to be in. It can tear you apart from inside. The person involved in my Saturn-conflict (see previous post in this thread from me) realised how I was feeling (eventually) and sent me this song, with the disclaimer "this is how you must have felt until we sorted it out...". Very insightful, and it gave me great comfort somehow.
