Coral, you seem pretty cool, I'm willing to put my Cappy Moon prejudices aside ...we can make peace over spaghetti and I'll cook us a big pot of marinara sauce

Aries moon here...I'm a cancer with leo asc, so for me I've found Sag sun is perfect. Leo is too domineering, or I'm bad with competition, and Aries men tend to do the whole disappear and appear act bit a lot.As for moon, i would love to have an earth or water moon because my sun is in water. Currently, I'm dealing with a fellow Cancerian with a Sag moon- and he just doesn't seem to understand the sensitivity that comes along with four placements in water, a moon in the 8th and a very strong Neptune. So look at your whole chart, and I would say the most prevalent element- that moon in the other person with a compatible sun to your Aries would be a good bet. My first love was aqua moon- a bit too popular and insensitive for me. IP: Logged |

Sonah, that makes sense. I have a big influence of Jupiter in my chart, so the Sag moon makes sense. However, my moon is in the 12th, and I have Scorpio Venus and 7th house, along with Neptune in the 7/8th house, so while I get along great with fire signs (except for Aries men), I never felt anything for them in an excessively romantic way...hmmm.IP: Logged |

There are different ways for planets to stand out. Your chart ruler, the planet that rules the sign your ascendant is in, has a big influence. Sometimes well-aspected planets are highlighted. Sometimes least aspected planets are big influences. Singletons are often significant in charts. Sometimes a chart points to a planet.IP: Logged |

Hey AG, my Sun has NO aspects, and my moon has nothing but a crazy opposition by Uranus. Does that make them significant? I thought it was Jupiter since it has so many aspects in my chart, but my chart ruler is actually Venus...I'm confused!! IP: Logged |

My parents have been married for over 40 years, he has Aqua Moon, she has Aries Moon. She isn't the only person with this sign in my family. The other person also was married for over 30 years, widowed now. Not sure of her partner's Moon sign. If I get time later on after work I will check it out for enquiring astro-minds. Lara said avoid Libra. I agree. Yes, please, avoid us! Aries Moon really annoys me with it's 'what about me, I'm so hurt' moments. Of course I am mainly going on the two people I am close to with this placement, unfortunately I am scarred for life. I end up calming things down thinking how childish they are being with their petty squabbles and temper rages. Yes, I know this is just my deranged family, and is not necessarily representative of the sign (in the same way one or two ex-boyfriends aren't a necessarily a true representative of the entirety of their Moon signs either). Some fun responses so far Blue moon, I'm sorry you had to observe how aries moon can be so selfish But I'm afraid you're right. Libra moon people are beautiful indeed it's probably just that Mars and Venus deal with emotions so differently their reactions differ immensely as well. IP: Logged |

sigh, i want to be with a libra!i know a libra moon girl and a capricorn moon girl, i havent had any problems, although the capricorn moon girl annoys me with her obsession with wanting to become rich. the libra moon girl is a leo sun, shes okay, can be annoying, but not because of her libra moon. Blue Moon...I am so sorry about your painful experiences. I think family history does add to the pot, so I am sorry.I do try to be careful with Libra Moons, to keep it at a certain distance...only because a couple of really close friends and I really butted heads. Oddly enough, my Cappy moon/Aries moon experience was the opposite of me me me (on the Aries ME and) ... mostly I was the one sitting there watching the fireworks and saying nothing for a very long time...and then just walking away. I always found it weird. IP: Logged |

MVM, you're cool yourself I find the whole Aries/Cap difference strange. I partially understand both and I can relate to both.Maybe if you met a fire sun sign person with the Cap moon sign, it wouldn't bother you. It makes for an earthy/fiery mix, like your own Sun/Moon. IP: Logged |

MyVirgoMask-It all depends on what you feel is most significant. I think your experiences have a lot to do with that in addition to the number of aspects or one significant aspect. Had I a very tight fire aspect to my moon, my feeling about the moon of a significant other would be different. But, as you can see, the fact that I talk so much about feelings pretty much screams water :P. IP: Logged |

It doesn't help that I have (Libra) Moon CNJ Pluto. For the Aries Moon person who is expressive of their feelings this is a frustrating placement. They don't get why I don't tell them how I feel, I don't get why it matters and why they need to know. It's not been great in family relationships, I wouldn't care to try it in a romantic one. But I wouldn't rule it out. Christian Bale has Aries Moon, and I wouldn't throw him into the bathroom on a cold night, I can assure you! The Aries Moon person in my family whose marriage lasted until she lost her partner was a Cancer. He was either Libra or Scorpio Moon. Scorpio is far more like his emotional nature. It would make sense, as although Aries Moon and Scorpio Moon seem an odd mix, Aries was his Sun Sign. So we have her Sun Cancer, his Moon possibly Scorpio. His Sun Aries, her Moon Aries. Maybe even possibly a Trine and a Conjunction. I don't have their birth-times so I don't know. But it would make sense so that an unlikely Moon combination works just right. I think they understood each others deeply emotional natures. IP: Logged |

I'm an Aries Moon... I get along best with other Aries Moons or Gemini Moons. I have a 5th house Moon and I also get along well with other 5th house Moons or 11th house Moons, so you may want to think about looking at house placement as well. Because I'm an earth sun/fire moon, I find that I get along best with earth sun/air moon and water sun/fire moon. As for feeling calmer inside... I feel pretty calm inside much of the time. It's only when my Virgo Sun nature (wanting to be careful and methodical) and Aries Moon nature (wanting to be fun, spontaneous, and impulsive) are in conflict that I feel agitated and not calm when I'm around other people. ------------------ Virgo Sun/Aries Moon/Scorpio Rising IP: Logged |

Gemini Sun/Aries moon,I'm quick at most things and of course quick to temper sometimes. I find Aquas or Leos help a lot. I find that Aquas can make sense of anything, the best person that kept me calm was an Aqua sun, Leo Moon. IP: Logged |

my aries moon is there, but its burried under a big mess of signs/squares/oppositions.it finds it hard to express its self through the mess, and when it does, its through a virgo mercury in house III conjunction with venus in libra in house III lol. it takes a given situation for me to get temperamental. i think of my aries moon as a gun with a silencer lol. For you to want to feel "calmer" suggests that another fiery person will not do.Scorpio Moon can get as intense. I don't know if that is what you would like? Aries Moon seems to have no preferences ime as they are brave enough to go after anyone. Most don't have that internal sensitive self-awareness and live life more from spontaneity or ad-hoc point of view. For you to be so self aware has me wonder what aspects your Moon makes or house it is in? In truth choosing which Moon is best is choosing your battle. Because none are perfect. For fiery Moon signs, the detached nature of Air is best in the overall sense. But since you feel them too "slow", earth is the next best thing. Nobody will fully " understand " you better than you understand yourself. Rather look for someone who will let you be and will not try to change the way you are or express yourself. As a moody Cancer Moon myself, finding a partner aint a walk in the park. But I have come to find that few people are appreciative of me as another Cancer,Virgo or Pisces moon can be. These folks in my experience just let me be. And that is why I am continually drawn to them. I like Aries Moon too but the square nature has us either fighting or in bed. Or sometimes fighting in bed.Rarely is there a neutral place. So I would not recommend Cancer Moon for you. But then again, I do have Moon/Mars square,Mars conj 7th and Aries Asc. So there is both tension and attraction most times balled up into one thing. Look at everything in your chart and draw conclusions from there
