I have a friend with this one, and despite a pleasant Libra asc and cancer Sun, she has a need to control and dominate. But it's frustrating because it's invisible to many- took me years to see this part of her. IP: Logged |

I have Pluto square Ascendant and there was one particular time when I was at a Walmart when I use to shop there and I made the people there begin to fight with one another because of my curvaceous appearance. I was also younger and dressed very provocative. My sister was working there at the time and step over to me and told me to leave the store because I'm causing couples to fight and causing distractions with the workers. I don't know if this was due to my Pluto Virgo in 4th squaring Ascendant Gemini or just my appearance. Now that I'm older (ripened beauty) and body is even more proportioned and curvaceous, I look even better, if I must say so myself. One thing for sure people either like me or they don't. Now since Pluto is in Capricorn everyone seems to like me which is always a good thing. And yes, people can't seem to figure me out, I possess an air of mystery. I can confuse the way I come off to people and they'll think I'm upset with them and they would not have a clue why. I can also appear extremely aloof and unapproachable that is harshly intimidating and emits regality and people will not approach me, but constantly stare and watch my every move. Actually I get a kick out of it, because I'm usually in a good mood at the time, but I like the fact that I can control the people around me if I wanted to. This aspect also has its adverse effects too. People will plot your demise and try to harm you and turn others against you. If you're attractive it can work for you having Pluto sextile Venus and Jupiter in Scorpio and Capricorn Sun in 7th especially in your dealings with the opposite sex. I could say more on this. My Pluto also squares Mercury, Mars, sesquiquadrate Saturn, oppositions Chiron and semisquare Part of Fortune in Leo in 15 degrees. Ascendant trines Moon, oppositions Mercury, quincunx Jupiter trines North Node in Aquarius and squares Chiron in Aries. ------------------

Learning Astrology in particular this placement Pluto square Ascendant I find myself constantly digging deeper to find the meaning of things. I find answers a lot of the time too. Superficiality and spontaneity are out of the question. Oftentimes I expect the way I am for everyone else to be that way too. Unfortunately most people are not. So I run into problems with people. It is very true that I have landed in very uncomfortable situations.One blessing to having this aspect is if you're not getting angry at people and situations and watch very closely human behavior, you will be endowed with supreme knowledge, similar to occult knowledge about human beings. You will know exactly how humans really are. -------------

Astro.com says I have this aspect and I shake my head no. I'm not sure if this even fits for me.My Asc is at 19:56 Gemini and Natal Pluto is at 27:58 of Virgo. IP: Logged |

I have pluto SQ asc but the orb is wider, at 9 degrees. I am definitely not a loner. I get a long well with people and I prefer meaningful, loving relationships, where the bond is mutually deep, but I won't "shun" superficiality completely. I mean . . . I am a lighthearted Sag sun  (although we also like to have deep philosophical conversations, we also like to have FUN!) . . . On the other hand, I can be jealous and suspicious from time to time (I don't think a lot though, honestly I don't feel this aspect so intensely) but my Pluto being in Scorpio I will never let it on even to the people I'm super close to. I have been called intimidating before. I don't feel that way. It's again not something that comes up all the time but it has happened often enough to notice. Hope this helps! IP: Logged |

I have this. And I am quite a loner.
People tell me I have this misterious air around me. I don't see it thought. Also I don't talk too much but when I do. I can be very talkative.I do notice that guys i don't know why, don't invite me to go out. I think is because they see me so serious. I don't know.
Oh and another think I read about this is that people with this aspect tend to be like the stalker type. I do get obsess with my crushes A LOT! and I think that scares them so they never like me back. I'm used to that...so Yeah. I think the description fits me. IP: Logged |

I also have this aspect and at 0.5 degrees, approaching and I also have Pluto conjunct midheaven at 9.5 degrees. I can relate to what you have said about being seen as aloof and people plotting against me and making others turn against me. Even my family members do it! I have This aspect,along with Mars square pluto and pluto opposite Mc.And i can say that i can sometimes be a secret dictator,people see me as someone who isnt fond of jokes. probably my virgo ASIP: Logged |

I have Asc. square Pluto, Uranus, Upiter/ Pluto square Mars, though i'm very sociable, but have noticed, when i couldn't protect myself from powerfull enemies, smth happens with them (they could be retired, suddenly leave the city, be betrayed)/ Simetimes i thought i was a test for them. I have Pluto square ascendant. I don't think I'm intimidating at all. I do stick to my beliefs when I believe I am right about something that needs to be changed. I am a strong willed person. I'm not intense, violent, power crazed, or a loner. I'm always smiling and I laugh a lot (Leo rising). But I don't like superficiality and I like to get to the bottom of things. I also think this is because I have a Pisces sun, moon, and Mercury in my 8th house. I have Pluto square ascendent at 1'. IP: Logged |
