Love - What a terrible heartache.
What does he have going on with his nodes and Karma asteroid natally? And what are all of your tight synastry aspects involving the nodes and Karma?
Also, is he experiencing his Saturn return? Or any rough transits from Saturn or Pluto right now?
Sorry for the million questions! I'm asking b/c I think there may be something other than his SN & your name asteroid involved in this (especially since it's a synastry aspect and not something he has natally).
Edit: If you'd like, you could answer these questions in the thread you started at the astro board about his solar return.

I wish I had my handy dandy astrology notebook with me right now. I took notes when darkdreamer had shared the speed of some planets/asteroids/angles. I can't remember its speed, but Karma wasn't slow.

I thought it was low because I remember it being in the same sign and one degree apart for two people who were born a year and a half apart. Perhaps I should check agaian.....

So I wouldn't overlook that aspect.
Venus conjuncts NN sounds like a lovely aspect in a romantic relationship. The only person whose Venus conjuncts my NN that I know about is my brother. We're not from West Virginia so it hasn't added any sparks to our relationship , but he is one of my favorite people.

LMAO, you're too funny! It is real lovely though. Affection that is hard for me to express with other, is not so hard with him.

If a couple has some SN contacts...doesn't that stunt the owner of the SN's growth because his SN is where he is coming from??? SN contacts sound lovely and feel fated however in time seems maybe it would be hard for one to get to to his life path. I never had an SN contacts in any of my relationships so I don't know how it feels. Just wondering.

Diandra and Dulce Luna - Yes, the AC and Moon are on speed, but Karma isn't a tortoise either.
I found darkdreamer's list. She wrote how long the following bodies take to move 2º...
AC - 10 minutes
Moon - 4 hours
Sun - 2 days
Mercury - 3 days
Venus - 3 days
Karma - 5 days
Osiris - 5 days
Eros - 5 days
Psyche - 7 days
Isis - 7 days
Amor 14 days
Juno - 14 days
Valentine - 30 days
N.Node - 40 days

So then it applies...eek. I always thought SN conjunctions were not that good. But maybe it simply means we have unfinisheed business. Atleast his moon is somewhat close to my NN....that's much more a personality than the asteroid jarma I think but who knows.

Dulce Luna & Ericka - In another recent post, I discussed my take on S.Node aspects. So I'm gonna be a lazy ass and paste what I said here:

I think the S.Node often gets a bad rap as being something that holds us back, seductive comforts that prevent soul growth. I don't think of them that way though. A poster here, Tim, once explained that the S.Node is an essential part of achieving our N.Node goals. He said that we can use the easily learned lessons of our S.Node to move towards our N.Node, that the power and strength of our N.Node has its source in our S.Node abilities. ... I have Eros conjunct my S.Node and Amor conjunct my N.Node. Keeping it basic, Eros is about the erotic--sex, but also creative arts--and Amor is about unconditional, spiritual love. I sure as hell hope that having Eros conjunct S.Node doesn't mean that's something I should be running away from in this life! I'm far from having my fill of that asteroid. Instead, the lessons I've easily learned involving Eros and expressing my Eros energy will help bring me to the goal of Amor...In synastry, your Ceres conjuncts his S.Node. Instead of running away from Ceres b/c it feels too easy and comforting, he could welcome in the nurturing and love he gets from you as a source of power that will help him achieve his N.Node goal. Ceres isn't the end goal (since it's not conjunct the N.Node), but it can be a tool to help him get there.

Thanks Jane, I'd love to chat now but I'm pressed for time and I won't be near a computer for a couple of days or so.

Bye!

Astrid thanks for this wonderful thread. I foun out that I must have very heavy karma with this guy of my dream then. We both have a stellium around each other nodes:

NN conjunct NN (his NN in the last degree of my 6th house - I don't know his AC)

Conjunctions around his NN: my NN, my Descendant, true BML, Cupid

Conjunctions around my NN: his Venus, Ceres, Juno

our SN conjunct each other AND conjunct our Saturns AND square our Plutos.

His NN trine my Mas / Amor / Chiron/ Moon / Venus, sextile my Vertex and Psyche
My NN trine his Mas / Amor / Chiron, sextile Mercury

Looks like we have a hell lot of work to do. I also heard AC conjuncts Saturn is a karma that makes the relationship cannot take off the groupnd at all. More over we have Pluto conjunction, Saturn conjunction, and our Sun sextile each other's Pluto, in the composite chart we have Sun conjunct Pluto and both square Saturn, plus Moon square Neptune. I have not been able to touch my feet on the ground in this relationship for the last couple of months. And that's we haven't gone seriously yet... Wonder if it will ever do.

Your questions:

quote:
Question to those who have aspects to NN:
Do you feel lighter, like you are being lifted in this relationship towards your purpose? More free, less restricted?

As i said, I'm "head in the cloud, feet off the ground", but yes, it's the only thing I want with all my person at the moment. Almost an obsession.

quote:
Question to those who have aspects to SN:
Do you feel more restricted, even punished or in bondage on some level, and slow growth (though, we all grow, don't we? even the most restricting experiences have their purpose to help us grow, right?), like you are repeating something from the past, or repaying an old debt?

I'm not inside the relationship yet to know how difficult it could be. I somehow know that he's not an easy person to leave with (which is confirmed by his Sun square Moon, Saturn opp. Venus), and I'm just out of a painful relationship. But i can't help feeling being pulled in (not pulled down though, not yet). A feeling of fatedness that scares the hell out of me.

Jane I heard the true BML ( in astro you request by h13) is more accurate in both snastry and natal chart than the mean BML (1388 or so). I always use the h13 - true BM

Hey this thread has been very insightful! Thanks, enjoyed reading.
I do have a question about chiron-NN/SN aspects!!! Okay I have Chiron squared my SO's NN. What does this mean?? I think its funny yet painful how my SO's ex g.f. have better synastry aspects than me :-( Lol. Her chiron conjucts his SN and Mhis Sun conjuncts her SN and I don't know if her Moon is in late Taurus or Gemini! I am a little jealous now.

WHy on cafeastrology he NN on the partners Saturn considered a separative aspect?!? Lots of couples long-lasting couples have this aspect...I thought an aspect like this holds people together. I have this with my SO, and I do admit sometimes he sees me as a litle immature, too silly and he is conservative and an intellectual. BUt we learn from each other. I show him a good time he teaches me stuff ;-)

Many married couples have South Node conjunction sun or moon, while many lovers have south node conjunction venus or mars. It must be less than 1 degree orb.

Many break-ups and divorced couple have North Node conjunction personal planets, not necessary less than 1 degree orb.

my exhusband's NN on my venus (exact) falls into the latter category...though we remained amicable and co-parented for decades...some of our other aspects more than account for our not being able to live together!

SN CONJ Partner's Pluto:
"Pluto could be an enemy from a past life. There was a power struggle between you two that was never resolved. This connection sometimes represents intense sexual attraction, but also jealousy. The Pluto person may have harmed or even murdered the SN person in a previous life. Undoubtedly control issues have been brought over."

I have this with someone. I am the pluto person. We are friends, but are afraid to be more.

We also have the moon/sn, with me being sn.

Moon conjunct SN: previous familial or marital karmic ties who have been difficult on an emotional or daily basis. The Moon has a karmic duty towards the SN and he/she can pay it according to the house it rules.

whoa. i have this with my sister . i am the pluto person. her sun is on my chiron(which puts it in my t-sq bet saturn/merc/moon and chiron)! she frequently seems to feel the need to undermine me...and still brings up the fact that she felt compelled to obey me when we were children because i was the big sister...there was ONE incident when we were kids where i tried to blame her for something to deflect disapproval from myself. i caught hell for THAT but otherwise i don't think i was seriously horrid to her!

most of our lives we have gotten along really well...however the last few years have been a tad difficult.

meanwhile my daughter's mars is squat on my NN. this has given me energy for my journey....my mom's south node conjuncted my daughter's north; they never really understood each other.

New here. My current bf, who is also my former bf from almost 20 years ago, has his nodal AND vertice axes on my AC/DC axis. His SN and Vertex hitting my ascendant & his NN and anti-Vertex on my descendant.

There is plenty of Saturn, Chiron, and Pluto contacts between us.

Things didn't play out well with us all those years ago because I believe we both lacked maturity.

It just blows my mind that we are together again after sooooo many years.

If anyone can help me interpret this weirdness, I would greatly appreciate it.
