Its been a very long time since I last posted anything on here and I would have been under the name of Snappyyaps, when I last did. Im sure none of you would recognise me.

Getting to point however, while I know the very basics of astrology. I was hoping some of you could shed some light on what transits can suggest someone is coming into anothers life in an important manner. Im 30 now have gone through my Saturn return. I broke up from a long term relationship on my way into the S/R nearly three years ago. But Im a bit concerned that Im never going to meet anyone significant. Im feeling the fear a bit.....

Any way hope someone may be able to enlighten me.

Best thing I ever did!

I'm still single but I did fall truly, unselfishly and deeply in love for the first time ever and I wouldn't trade that for the world. I think that book is closed but something won't let me close it.....

I know at cafeastrology.com they have a big section on first meeting charts.

OzMeg, obviously that relationship wasnt meant for that time in your life. Its actually amazing how much you reflect and change when you come out of a serious relationship, do some serious growing up in the late twenties as well. If theres still hope and feeling between you too, who knows maybe........

Since you're an old school member at this site, you may have already seen this post, but I came along it not too long ago during a search.

It says that a significant relationship starts when progressed or natal planets are conjunct the progressed ascendant, or progressed planets are conjunct the natal ascendant. The planets that form the conjunctions supposedly describe the nature of the person you will meet. When progressed Moon is in your progressed 7th, that's also a sign of starting a significant relationship.

If you've already set up a free account at astro.com, when you go to "Extended Chart Selection", under "Please select the type of chart you want", you can just scroll down to "Progressed Chart". Voila!

if so, whats the most important 'activator',transiting or prog.planet?

when i met this man,north node in transit conjuncted his AC and progr. uranus was 1 degree away from my AC. [he s a taurus asc.aquarius]. mars on transit touched his progr. DC,and i am an aries.
also,the progr.moons ,both in my chart and his,were in 7th house.i also had chiron and saturn in my 7th besides the moon, and he had uranus and pluto, besides the moon.wasnt it supposed to last?
instead, after 4 months he disappeared and i think he s seeing someone else now.- he behaved just uranus-like.

so for him i wasnt important relationship but for me he was.-still love him.

how come since both progr. moons were in our 7ths?
maybe because i had the uranus bonus at my AC? so is why i got stuck still feeling for him?

and since he s still has the progr. moon in 7th while meeting this new girl,what are the chances that she s gonna last longer than i did?

sorcha - I'm happy I could help. I just want to add (in case you didn't notice) that on the Extended Chart Page, you can pick the date for your Progressed Chart. So you can look back & see if this pattern has worked with you in the past. about a Progressed Report..unfortunately, I don't know where we could get those. If you find out, let me know. I just look at the chart.

Alia - I don't think transits were a part of Bissie's theory, but they probably still serve an important function.

I would suggest checking transits, but as far as what Bissie discussed, I think she focused solely on Progressions.

I'd say you both had signifant placements in your progressed 7th house. I'm sorry you're hurting right now. It would be lovely if love relationships always lasted, but even if they don't, that doesn't mean that what you shared wasn't significant & meaningful.

the day we met in person my progressed sun conjunted my ac(0orb),P.Moon was conjuncting Vertex(1º),P.NN/P.Vesta conjuncted my NN(3) and my Natal Valentine/N.PF was conjuncting my P.NN(0º) and more - P.Valentine was also conjuncting my karma and my own Valentine -
My P.VX/Osiris/Juno were in my 7th house,and PF was also conj my DC!

He had T.Uranus/kiron transiting his 7th;and T.Valentine/Pluto transiting his 5th.
T.Mars/Saturn/karma were conj his N.AC- and T.Eros was conj his N.NN.His NIsis/Osiris were conj T.Moon and T.Amor was conj N.Valentine.
AS for me..T.NN was transiting my 7th,conjuncting my N.Vx.and DC.
T.Kiron/Uranus were transiting my 5th.
~T ERos conj my NN and N.Valentine conj my T.Karma/T Saturn.
