I saw your post earlier this morning while I was waking up and I was listening to it on my mobile phone later in the car. I couldn't help but singing even if I have been having a harsh voice the last few days, due to much talking. I'm sure that you are going to sing it a whole lot better than me. You have a great voice.

Thanks, did do a very good job of it last night. It wasn't the most well known song for a lot of people there though (people tend to like what is familiar to them more). Can't say that I'm a big fan of Duran Duran in a general sense, but that is one sexy song indeed.

Thank you for the compliment Eternal. I should be receiving my new mic today. Actually, not so much new in the sense of different, but a replacement for my former good mic that has been having issues of late. Perhaps I'll surprise you later and serenade you and the forum..lol.

Here's the song--karaoke style. The mic got overwhelmed by the volume towards the end, hence all the distortion. I'm still learning how best to work the levels as well as Audacity functions. I don't have the time and energy to do a bunch of different takes.

So on my off time today, I've been playing around with learning how to adjust and fine tune different things with the audio. I FINALLY also got my mic to work directly on Audacity. Previously, I was using an online program that wasn't very good and required internet connection to work, and then putting it in Audacity later. Using Audacity directly is MUCH better.

Anyways, wanted to share one last song with you (sorry, no music, just voice). My dad wrote this a little while before I was born. I happen to think that I probably influenced him from the nonphysical to write it. It's called Ballad of Starman. It's somewhat inspired by the Biblical teachings about the Sons of God looking upon the daughters of man and finding them fair and falling somewhat in the process.

Anyways, the song means a lot to me on many different and deep levels. When I was age 4 to 5, I would have a repeating dream where I was on a spaceship traveling from someplace very far away to earth with a definite sense/feeling of purpose.
