The legend says that he first saw his beloved in a dream and went in search of her not knowing who or where she was but he found her bound in chains to beautiful swans so he turned himself into a swan to rescue her and they were uninted in love forever.

He acts like cupid somewhat, playing a magical golden harp that allows soulmates to hear the music and draws them together.

I thought that was a beautiful story and had to share.
