Prenatal New MoonThere is a widespread belief among practitioners of esoteric astrology and karmic astrology that the last New Moon before an individual's actual birth reveals details about their karmic background and their present life-plan. It is also sometimes called the karmic New Moon. In esoteric astrology, the New Moon symbolises death, entrance into the solar paradise and rebirth. The astrologer Dane Rudhyar believes that the lunar phase at the time of birth reveals an individual's approach to life. The starting point for this lunar phase is the last New Moon before birth. The most important factor is the degree of the New Moon and its house and sign positions in the natal chart. This degree is thought to be a sensitive point in the chart. It is also possible to plot the position of any other planet of the New Moon horoscope in the natal chart (Synastry). Verena Bachmann and Claude Weiss have worked together to further develop this method: They erect a separate chart for the New Moon calculated for an individual's actual place of birth. This New Moon is then equally valid for all individuals born between this New Moon and the following one (around four weeks later). When a comparison is made between this horoscope and an individual's natal chart, it becomes apparent "which of themes and constellations in the New Moon we have chosen to energise in our individual lives". Interesting..... thanks v-s My PN New Moon chart shows Pisces Rising, and my nMoon is in Pisces. I have 5 planets in the 7th house and 3 planets in the 6th in my PNNM chart. My "sensitive degree" is 14 Libra, but nothing in my own chart aspects that point.....IP: Logged |

Azalaksh, I looked at my sensative point and found that it fell on my Ven/mars midpoint, So it may not always show as a natal planet. I would check your midpoints, just a thought. IP: Logged |

Lara ~I used this: http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/moonphases.html ..... And then made a chart for the date and time of the New Moon and my birth location (scroll down to set that). What do you mean is it always 0?? The New Moon will be at the same degree as the Sun, whatever that might be..... IP: Logged |

Vesta - Sister,my prenatal new moon falls also onto my Venus-Mars-midpoint (New Moon is 21°17 Sagittarius, Venus-Mars-mp is 20°39 Sagittarius). Interestingly the DSC of that New-moon-chart is exactly conjunct my Venus. IP: Logged |

Here is the chart from astro. My Prenatal New Moon is exactly trine my Natal Moon-Pluto conjunction. Also, the Prenatal New Moon's Asc is 2.5˚ conjunct my Natal Moon and less than 2˚ away from my natal Pluto. What does this mean? Does it mean that my Moon-Pluto conjunction play an important role in my lifetime? ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! GG,yes, I would think so. It looks like the ASC is a pointer to your Moon-Pluto-conjunction, and it`s telling you that it probably has karmic (past) roots. Hmm, thinking about that, so the prenatal DSC conjunct my Venus would probably bring Venus more in focus in my chart (and his Venus is square Pluto)

Hmm, DD, do you think the Prenatal New Moon Asc may connect to the Dracs? Maybe see what aspects the Draco chart makes to the PNNM and it's Asc? Maybe it may give more insight to the past? And also compare it to progression to tell what may be ahead?------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! Also DD, my PNNM Dsc is exactly conjunct my natal Amor. ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! IP: Logged |

GG,yes, I think it might be interesting. But for now I would focus on the tropical aspects; it might also be interesting to look for synastric ties from someone else`schart to your New Moon. IP: Logged |

I already did LOL, my first love, the Scorpio, her natal moon is trine my PNNM. And her PNNM and Valentine is trine my natal Sun-Mercury conjunction. Also, her PNNM Asc is conjunct my Natal Jupiter. Her PNNM NN is exact comjunc my Natal Asc (her natal NN is also exactly conjunct my Asc as well). My PNNM Sun, Moon, and Eros are all trine her Natal Moon-Pluto conjunction and opposite her Natal Venus-Neptune conjunction. ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! Hm, this is weird. My prenatal New Moon doesn't touch anything in the charts of those I feel a deep connection to :O (well, except for a celebrity that I've never met LOL) However THEIR prenatal New Moons strongly touch my chart. Me and my love/hubby-to-be: His prenatal New Moon conjunct my Mercury 0° His prenatal New Moon square my Vertex 1° His prenatal New Moon trine my Uranus 0° (8th lord) His prenatal New Moon trine my Neptune 2° My and my close Cancer guy-friend: His prenatal New Moon conjunct my Moon 2° (ASC lord) His prenatal New Moon conjunct my Mars 3° (MC/5th lord) Me and celeb soul connection: His prenatal New Moon conjunct my Sun 0° His prenatal New Moon opposite my Saturn 1° (DESC/8th lord) My prenatal New Moon opposite his Vertex 0° I don't get it?!!! Why doesn't my prenatal new moon touch the charts of the men that I have an actual relationship with in real life? It should!
