BUY YOURSELF FLOWERSYou deserve it! And fresh cut flowers are perfect for soaking up negative energy (like plants taking and using carbon dioxide and giving off oxygen) and giving off good energy. This is why men in trouble give their wives flowers. Feed your soul. IP: Logged |

Or visit a public garden, where the air is often full of the fragrance of flowers. Then you dont have to kill them. IP: Logged |

I've always noticed that music has the ability to totally alter my moods, in all ways. I can be perfectly happy, then listen to some tunes that remind me of difficult times, and wham! I'm depressed. I can be lacking energy, and play some loud rock music, and there comes the energy. Then theres the music that makes you happy. Play that, and play it loud! Screw the neighbors, they'll just have to deal. My friend always played "Love Shack" when he was down. Personally, that would run me outta the room, but everybody has a happy song, right????IP: Logged |

I was thinking about this last night. You know when your so broken hearted you can barely breath or swallow, or eat, or sleep. And suddenly it occured to me "Hey!!!!!. I felt this way once or twice before, I remember the intesity of this feeling, the love I had for this person, the wondering if every car that drove by was his, staring at my phone, willing it to ring...etc..." AND I lived through that. So I will live through this. Doesnt have to be any harder than that. It will go away. It will! One of those people I was married to! Not just some fling, and the other person, I was very, very close to. And Now, when I think of either of them, I feel............NOTHING. So, its probably not helping anyone out there. Because the root of what I am saying is TIME. And nobody likes to hear that. But it is the truth. IP: Logged |

Drink lots of Baileys. Or Benedictine. That seriously blurs the edges of everything. Or you can listen to samples from Barrie Konicov's site Potentials Unlimited (eminent hypnotist whose voice is seriously soporific). But that may only be effective for a while, and need to be substituted for Baileys or Benedictine LOL... Also, get rid of everyone in your life who is frustrating you. Why should you let them? Take my parents - they were horrendous to me but I comfort myself with the fact they're only going to be around for the next 10, 15 years or so. Wahey! So take heart. Nothing is forever and things do change. Just have a bit of patience and make sure you have fun in the meantime. Don't bother with counselling as that exacerbates problems and is way too cathartic. Other people have had worse problems before you. If they could cope so can you. So what if your bf's being a b*st*ard. In the grand scheme of things it ultimately will not matter a scrap. Become a survivor. Let go of the need to be a victim. If you become a victim, offending people will win in the end. I should think that's the last thing you'll want! Have your goals and work steadily towards them. Play life by your own rules and not others'. Go out when you FEEL like going out. Don't go out when you don't feel like going out. Remember to take time out and relax for yourself (with plenty of Baileys ) Be selfish, but nice. Avoid negative psychic energies that knock you for six (again, recover with Baileys). Cut these people out of your life as Jesus suggested cutting the eye that does not please you, out. Or, at least, maintain only minimal communication with them. And when your life is really falling apart, there's only one word: BAILEYS!! Okay, I better shut up now, some people might think I'm taking the p*ss LOL...Hope it amused some people though. Lurrve, Lyra
