Ohhhhh I'm just going to copy/paste a paragraph from my birthday thread I just responded to regarding the Mr. Perfect situation: ****** I haven't been online for a couple months... working from 3:30pm to 3:00am and just exhausted most of the time. "Mr. Perfect" turned out to be "Mr. Venus in Aries who plays the part of Mr. Perfect perfectly for a while.... and then just behaves badly and throws little grumpy fits daily over nothing while being insanely jealous because he assumes everyone else has the same low standards of integrity that are his own." ****** I will add to this sad little paragraph that I have been thinking of so many things I want to share with all of you regarding insights into Venus/Pluto aspects and insights into the combinations of his energies and how they play out and struggle against each other etc... but when it was going on I didn't feel right divulging, and once I asked him to leave I needed a break from thinking of him constantly. It was seriously a full time job, on top of my 55 hour a week current job, and my goodness it was just so good to get back to MYSELF for a while after. So... if I don't forget ALLL of the lessons the Universe gave to me during that time, I will share what coalesces in my mind when the mood is right. ♥ Also, stay tuned for "Mr. Married" and "Mr. Has A Girlfriend" who started out as my best-est friends (I love three of my guys at work and they love me back) and now that I'm single both flirt mercilessly with me at work. They would be "just friends" to me even if they were single (though I do find them to be incredible, talented, excellent, warm, wonderful, and very handsome men) but the psychological dynamics are just so interesting to think about. We lift each other up and talk about our lives and relationships almost like girlfriends and yet there is always the man/woman thing. It doesn't help that one has mars trine my venus and one has mars square my venus... so interesting how these energies play out and pull even in "friendships". Energy is so fluid. We get so angry that our significant other would feel any attraction to anyone else but the reality all students of astrology understand is that you have different connections and aspects with everyone you meet. Ideally you have many more and stronger and more personal aspects with your significant others but you still will always run across others with whom you have those Mars/Venus and Venus/Pluto contacts. Especially me, a Libra with Venus in Libra, who connects with an entire generation of Pluto in Libra people (including men!) by Sun and Venus conjunction to Pluto... and trine my Aqua Mars and Gemini Saturn. Hmmm..... IP: Logged |

Sorry it didn't work out for you. It seems all the "relationships" that started in September crashed and burned. It also seems they were very intense and fantastical. I remember there being a thread around that time about the venus opposite pluto aspect going on in the sky and posting how it was probably a bad time to start a relationship. It seems I may have been right. All of these relationships seemed to have that intense venus/pluto nature, both in the beginning and unfortunately in the end as well. IP: Logged |

The thing is, it didn't even make me that sad. I tried to say goodbye with love and he kept telling me he didn't want to say goodbye because he wanted to stay with me (though he is now living with his ex-girlfriend so don't feel sorry for him ) And I KNEW about Mars in Aries and should have stepped outside the little fantasy but hey... it was SO good while it lasted (the fantasy, not the relationship) and it was just what I needed to appreciate what I do have in my life and help me get back on track with work and school and my daughter etc. "God works in mysterious ways" is not just "a saying", it is the Truth. I had to be torn down to rock bottom to work in the place I was working when I met him because I would have never done it otherwise. And without my experience with him, I would still be at rock bottom. It all happened for a reason and gave me a deeper understanding on MANY insights into my own and the psychology of people close to me. It made my faith stronger. I was also reading Carl Jung's biography/autobiography at the time and was able to steer Mr. Perfect closer to God in a way he could accept. He is a soul friend and we were meant to meet. He isn't the first soul friend I've met who was a butt-head, and I doubt he'll be the last. But... God sends you nothing but angels.

I feel the same way!!! So funny. I had a really good time. It was fun having that fantasy, even though it didn't work out I still think it was so much fun. IP: Logged |

I smiled reading these new posts from you Mel because I can tell you learned something and are in a place where you can appreciate the experience and where it brought you instead of being sad or angry over it. That is really beautiful. Isn't maturity amazing? It's so nice to look back at instances in our lives and go "oh, that happened so this would happen, and it's okay." Glad you seem to be in a better place than before. I hope you and the little lady are doing well!! Ghani IP: Logged |

Oh my gosh. I just clicked a random page at the bottom because I felt in the Thread Resurrection Mood. Then I see two of my own threads about men who made brief appearances in my past. I had to read them, of course. I kind of hate to bump this one because the last post by katatonic just summed it up perfectly and eloquently but hey, not all Soul Unions are forever and most are messy. But still "perfect"? Do you have a Mr. Perfect story?? IP: Logged |
