Anyway we do have some good aspects, moon conjunct moon (feel like we just KNOW each other, even now after so many years), his Venus in my 1st conjunct my ASC, his Eros conjunct my moon, my Psyche conjunct his Sun, etc. Of course there are negative aspects too though..

We've only hung out a few times but he's already said idk if we should be doing this if it's just for fun because I already know what I want with you and that's a relationship but I guess we'll just see how things play out..

So part of me feels like why go back to the past when so much has changed since then, but on the other hand I've been single for a long time and am kind of hurting right now tbh and it's made me realize how rare it is to find someone you feel close to and who also genuinely cares about you.. So idk just thought I would share lol

I know my gemini's (as a mutuable sign myself) I think they make awesome friends! Normally I would not commit to one, but that's just me (as a water sign). However, he sounds like a good guy! And that accounts for so much more than an astrological perspective. Obviously he has forgiven or let go of the past...I think its time for you to let go of those mistakes too..and whatever hardships you've been felt lately.

One things for sure, these connections are rare! And sometimes were better off taking risks, than we are playing it safe and wondering what could've been (didnt you both struggle with that enough?)

If I was in your shoes (and taking into consideration where your coming from) I would somehow make clear what your intentions are (he deserves that). If you decide this is what you want, I would perhaps say you want to give it a try, and take things one day at a time. Ease you into it, a gemini should get that (and I think he'll wait it out with you as long as there's a light at the end.

You're right he is a good person, and I'm glad we've been able to re-connect..

tSaturn is in my 5th house and squaring my natal Venus opposite Jupiter, and it's just been a lot of... disillusionment lol. So as much as that's made me appreciate how rare it is to find a good person who I can actually connect with like that, part of me feels like maybe it's just not supposed to be in the cards for me right now

Weird how life works, and I don't want it to be a situation where history repeats itself, because I'll be done with school soon and that will be a turning point.. I know I don't want to spend the rest of my life in MN and I've already left twice but always end up coming back.. Maybe before I would have been willing to make a relationship a priority or at least a significant factor when making plans, but the silver lining to being hurt recently is it kind of woke me up and made me realize if I don't want to look back on things with regret now is the time, while I'm young and have no major commitments, to make changes and take control of my own life.. because it will be much more difficult to do further down the line

Sooo, I've explained all of that to him, and he's also expressed that it's a weird time in life for him too, and at this point we're just taking things slow. I've explained that I think he's great and I really do have feelings for him and don't want to throw the connection we have away, I just can't jump head first into anything right now, which as you said he's understanding and willing to wait it out to see where things go

Usually I'm attracted to Cancers or Scorpios, but I definitely appreciate that about his air sun, feel like we can actually be rational about the whole thing lol

I totally get what your saying though about gemini's/air's ability to be rational, and I love their directness! Something that you don't always get from water signs. I'm actually seeing a libra Scorpio cusp. For me, its like the best of both worlds, ha. The only elements I ever tend to fall for. We have a bit of disillusionment in our aspects as well, so I can relate!

I guess if it were me I'd think that maybe you were able to reconnect because it is the right time. However; you have to listen to your instincts!!! And if they're telling you to take things slow, you should! And with all these upcoming changes its sounds like the right logical more. Perhaps you reconnected to help each other through what ever ongoing you each have (a karma connection, if you will).

And yeah for whatever reason I always fall for water signs. Maybe because I only have one water planet (Pluto), I'm definitely drawn to that, but I think I'm probably just not emotionally evolved enough to play in the same league quite yet lol

Libra/Scorpio cusp does sound like a really good combination though!

Anyway I also agree there is probably a reason we're re-connecting at this time. And there is a certain healing element to it because we understand each other so well even when it feels like a lot of other things are flipped upside down right now lol

Have you looked at your node aspects? Or natal progressions? I'm only starting to delve deeper into astroids and points, orbs etc but there may be something there to interest you or explain so of this.

As for the guy, we're still seeing each other, and it's been an interesting experience, but I'm glad we've stuck it out so far

His Saturn conjuncts my Venus, and transit Saturn in Scorpio has been squaring those planets, so that probably says something about the timing of this and the weird/challenging circumstances that brought us together, but it's also had staying power, and I think we have helped each other as you were saying earlier.. As a Cap I'm always worried about planning things out in advance, but Gemini lives much more in the moment, so that's been refreshing and exactly what I've needed

But I think I've also helped him see the value of planning a little bit more lol. His NN conjuncts my Sun (less than 2 degrees), his Mars and widely Venus conjunct my SN, and my ASC conjuncts his SN. Here's a link to our synastry

Sooo, clearly we have a lot of oppositions lol, but also a lot of conjunctions and some good flowing aspects.. I think the oppositions do make for tension, and could've been part of the reason things didn't work out in the past.. But I think we're both at a point now where we've faced enough obstacles to really be ready to look inward and examine what's been working and what hasn't. And finding someone who mirrors back a lot of your own qualities, but also has the strengths you lack on the opposite end of the spectrum has been enlightening
