Usually, the Saturn person finds it hard to let go at first, but as time passes by, the other planet person misses the Saturn person more.

all of that in your 12th house there... I can see why this person is stuck in your head... they are embedded into your subconscious. and their Venus and Moon right on your Mercury... it's like they KNOW you. Unfortunately, the person is a Sag Sun and has already galloped away to new adventures. Your fiery Aries moon loved that fiery Sag Sun though... and your Eros are conjunct with his Chiron healing your sexuality and your Jupiter increasing that Chiron power. I can understand how this relationship would affect you so powerfully. I would meditate/pray on it A LOT.

Ugh, i feel bad asking this but...Are you sure he's really sick? It sounds ultra convenient that you broke up with someone for him and now he's dead in 2 months. All of a sudden.

All those planets in your 12th house..He may have always thought he'd never actually get you and he liked that but he may not have realized this until it happened. 12th house is notorious for relationships that never materialize, and one or both just like the idea of the other and take off it becomes a real possibility.

Before you get sooo depressed, Check it out. I hope for his sake that he is making it up. And yes, I've known people who have done this to someone before which is why I bring it up.
