I like Ron and Eileen Everest. http://english.sina.com/culture/p/2013/0620/601306.html I had the honor to meet a few couples. I will share my opinion tomorrow. I need to think about it and find the words.

Ahhh, the FIRE couple! You know I vote the same, Vajra. I posted this some time ago - http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum10/HTML/004691.html 2 Sagittarians this time, born the same day, who behaved like TWINS. Not a happy ending, but wow, were they amazing together! I would like to cultivate quality relationships in the future, focus less on the ultimate outcome here on earth, but rather on the immense growth experience that we can share. My dream is to have that with another Fire person, one who understands me and accepts me through all my reckless and impulsive behavior. Growing up with a Taurus and an Aquarius as parents, I quickly found out that expressing my fire was unwelcome and that left a hole in me until I recently gained my fieriness back. I can accommodate almost any sign, if I must, I have enough mutability to be able to - but what point would that make, with a partner? I believe my ideal partner should and would respect and appreciate my individuality, first and foremost. I will return to edit this and add some more things, I took a tiny dinner break from studying and my fingers were itching to respond in this thread. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |

My personal opinion for soul-unions connected by their heart:
- Each person is and was a gorgeous personality on his/hers own. I always loved to talk to my neighbors. Both were incredible personalities.
- The partners wanted to be together and cleared a hurdle. Family-system, social-system, belief-system, the system of law. The family-system is a common hurdle, but I hope that it is gone by now.
- They could accept change. You cannot be with somebody for such a long time without any change.
- They know each other. They meet at an early stage of their live and talk every day about their point of few or the future or …...
- They do not have obstacles in their relationship. Obstacles come from the outside. Personally I always like the sentences that start with “Did you know….?” At a certain point in my own relationship my partner informed me that we are already divorced, because of our tremendous issues. We did not know that, but it was fun to solve the unknown issue.
- Each love is separated either by life or death. Those, who are separated by life, seem to go a different way at a certain point in one’s life. Those, who are separated by death, seem to follow each other.
- All had one thing in common:
If loyalty is great fun, it is love.(Gustave Flaubert)
I found those unions with homosexual partners as well, but it seems that it is not common to include those unions.

I do like the triangular theory of love by psychologist Robert Sternberg as well. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangular_theory_of_love

Cap sun, taurus mars. aries moon, cap venus. My ideal partnership is like a really really good friendship. Warm, caring. Lots of communication, verbal n non-verbal. Long conversations. Trust. Similar values n principles. Feeling "in sync". I am wary of routine. Routine can cover up a lot. When there's a shock to the system, the little busted lines come out and the whole thing crash. I don't want to be too "settled" and lose track of the other person's changes and development. I like a relationship that evolves as we evolve. I have my whims. I like people who go along with me and who have their own whims. I want someone who's not easily shaken, responsible, independent, realistically optimistic and generous. S.o who knows how to look after himself. I have the partnership that I want. Can't hold back a grin whenever I think of him. When I see him I light up like a christmas tree. I love talking to him, the conversations can go for hours.

@Vajra You can copy the title and find another upload if you care enough. Nothing can replace music.
quote: I want to be very close. As close as you can get. Merged even. I'm not sure about equality, I don't really care, but I would be all I can for him and he'd do the same. I don't care for crafted planned romance, I want those moments to be real and raw and from the heart. I don't really want roses and a candlelit dinner. I want someone to be able to look deep into my eyes during sex and bare his entire soul. With that level of trust and closeness, no matter how much we fight, or can't get along in other areas, it will be worth it for me

I feel a need to share myself with someone, and to completely open myself up and have them know me inside out. I have cancer moon, cap Venus, Aqua sun, Taurus Mars.
Which ones of those aspect Pluto? That level of intimacy was something I had searched for myself in the past. I still want it, but I guess I also want more mundane things this time. How people change.. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |

It's not exactly the same as the ideal you described, but perhaps a little similar...
I am a big DM fan! If my ex did something right (well, in all fairness, he did a few) was to remind me just how much I did like their work! Martin's song writing is so touching, deep and uncomfortable at the same time! I will add Only when I lose myself and A question of lust to my description of the perfect relationship. Thank you for reminding me of them, it's been a while since I've listened to either of them - especially the last one is a bit painful because I sent it to my ex when the break-up was imminent, but.. it didn't have the proper effect. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |
