I don't try to pin my hopes too much on the time frames because they usually don't come to pass for me. But here's my thing too, if the contact timeframe doesn't come to pass do I continue to hold out hope that contact could come? I don't know. The one thing both Astrid and Lisa can agree on is that this particular relationship is almost at the end but not yet. Still some unfinished business left to attend to and they both agree the communication line is still open, not closed yet. Guess just have to wait it out and see. Realistically it's been 3 months since we've talked and things were fine when we last talked. I've tried to reach out with no answer so maybe I should just forget it and move on its just hard to do. Last I tried was last week to wish him a happy bday and got no answer, not that I expected one. IP: Logged |

Yeah that is tricky. But I think your approach is good - not focusing too much on the time frame of the prediction. If contact doesn't happen during that time, I wouldn't lose hope of contact eventually, but I would take it as an opportunity to be without the timeframe element on your mind. For a while I was involved with someone who would come into and out of my life. When I made a mental decision to stop wondering about whether they'd come back, or when (because I truly didn't want to deal with the drama or the heartache anymore)..and began living my life without having that always in the back of my mind - I heard from him! It was so weird. But I had already made the decision to leave that connection behind and look forward... so nothing came of it. I've had readers who have nailed my current situation - to the point where I was amazed they could pick up the things that they did... but then NOTHING they saw for the future came true. Hello ladies & gents,I haven't posted on this board in a few weeks regarding this specific question but I have a question for all of you: once you get a reading, do you wait for the timing of the prediction to pass or do you continue to get readings on the same issue? I just don't want to get a reading on the same question when the original time frame hasn't passed so I'm just curious if anyone else has. Empress since you read for a living: Does having another reading regarding the same question without the prior reading's time frame passing have any effect on the outcome? My last reading was in September 2013 and I'm curious to get another reading regarding the same issue but the timing hasn't passed on my last reading so I've decided to wait though it's hard. In all reality if I had never started getting so many readings I would have just figured it was over and moved on. I guess because I still continue to get readings and get my hope renewed is the main reason I keep holding on. If they had told me (Lisa and Astrid) that I would never hear from him again then at least I could convince myself to give it up. But because they said its almost done but more contact to come I guess I still believe something will happen. I just need to stop with the readings and live my life and whatever happens happens. Fairy your story is exactly what mine was a year ago. We had didn't have any kind of conflict he just blew hot-cold. I went to reading after reading being told that the guy was going to contact me again...even after I hadn't heard from him at all in 4 months, they kept me hanging on. I loved him and I didn't want to let him go. I kept thinking "well this psychic says 3 more weeks...thats not too bad". If a guy can't be bothered to contact you at all in 1/2/3 weeks/months, he's not worth your valuable energy and its time to move on. It makes me sad that I would have been willing to take him back back then even after being treated like that. For the record, its been over a year since I've heard from him. He never did come back, but if I had kept asking there would probably still be a part of me that was waiting. Sometimes I'll ask about him just to test a connection, they STILL say he will contact....I know in my being now that he is gone for good. You're right to start just living your own life and letting the predictions go. I can relate to your situation, I know it's very painful and difficult to go through. I wish you the best. IP: Logged |

I agree with what happy said. I was in a very similar situation as well. It wasn't until I asked myself "what could he possibly say after all this time that would allow me to feel good about letting him back into my life?" that I was finally able to move forward. Because the answer was- nothing, really. Short of him losing his phone AND having amnesia... there wasn't any point in continuing things. However, if you feel there's something he could say that would be ok with you.. then that's different. IP: Logged |

Hey DF, It depends who read for you the first time. If you feel it didn't resonate with you, then you can get another reading if you want to - it's up to you. When did they say it would happen? Because they could have been off with the time frame, or just in general (I don't know). But usually if I read for someone and they are a regular of mine, I make sure that what I predicted for them the last time did come to pass because this way I am sure that we do have a "connection". Thanks Happy and Lilac, you are both right. I guess for me it's just this need to have closure. Like what happened? It was all going in the right direction then poof, gone. I honestly believe it's all him and not me. But you're right Happy, if I keep getting readings and they keep saying 3 weeks, a month, I'll still be waiting, while all this time he's off living his life and may even be with someone else by now for all I know. It just hurts but I guess I just have to go one day at a time and see what life brings me. You can do your own closure - whether it's throwing anything that he gave you or reminds you of him or just close your eyes and see him and some strings attached from him to you and then cut those strings.
Or write him a letter (without sending) everything you wish to tell him and then burn /throw away. If he couldn't even reply to your bday sms then he's really not worth your time

Hey Dreamy Fish! Long time no see, how have you been? Wow no readings since Sep, that's awesome! As for your question - not that I'm a reader but I think you can ask the same question but be ready to get a different timeline and a completely different answers... and if you do decide to go to a reader go to one that you trust, don't try anyone new at this stage, will just confuse you more. Hi Empress, Thanks for the response. I was told "later next year" which by my account, later this year, hence my waiting. I get that there are some things that I need to clear up myself first so I could see why later in the year. Sorry, must be my patience wearing a little thin but I'm trying to stay strong & positive! I was going to get a reading for my bday this month but I decided to hold off - something inside of me is just telling me to wait. Thanks for answering! DF

Hey St@r! I've been online shopping versus buying readings but I don't know what's worse! Hope you're doing better then me! I'm just trying to hold off until "later in the year" to see what unfolds. I think I'm a bit hesitant as I don't want to jinx myself! I think you're right about different answers, different timelines; I don't need anymore confusion right now. I had my reading with Astrid though I've been reading that a few have had bad predictions in terms of love. Her predictions weren't bad in terms of love, they were actually quite positive so that's what I'm hoping for. I'm going to have a few craptastic months in the beginning of 2014 & then finally bliss! So yes, I can't wait for bliss! On a completely different note & I swear I won't sidetrack again but I bought a pendulum a few weeks back & man is it scary accurate, thus far at least. Once I feel much more comfortable with it & I feel ready to go 'public' persay with this little gem, I'll definitely ask for volunteers! I'm glad that people are continuing to write out their experiences on this topic; hopefully it'll help us curb to a minimum our readings or at least guide us to the few that have had some good things develop. I promise to contribute much more, work has been kicking my behind lately. What's interesting is I'm giving much better readings nowadays. Details and answers come faster. I think it's time to quit for a while. My aura is speaking Sanskrit right now

@Fairy - Personally I think that if a guy is really interested in a girl. He would keep a conversation with that girl at least within 2 weeks. A month would be stretching it. If you say that he doesnt have contact with you for 3 months already. I would personally just let him go. He is either not that interested or has something else in mind that you are just not his priority as of the moment. Just let it go/flow, maybe meet someone else but don't let him bother you. If he is indeed interested, he would make a move. As a psychic (Sophea Robb) once had said to me in bitwine. "dont allow others to rent space in your head for free" . I like that quote lol... sucks though cause I don't think she's going to be accurate although timeframe has yet to pass. It's because she suddenly flip her opinion about a girl I ask when I gave more information and she ended up giving me a prediction that I'll meet someone new instead. Just want to say to you guys that I've tried bennetandhutson (thepsychiccircle) on bitwine. I know that they are in oranum as well. I think they are nice people but its really more of advice, like they told me to look at selfhelp books and stuff. No wow moment, they ask me questions that I just can't relate too. It felt more of a cold read to be honest. >_>

I hope she comes on soon. I loaded keen with funds just to talk to her. I never go there. As much as I love psychics, I find keen WAY too overwhelming. So many psychics. I never use it or live person. I try to stay away from oranum, but I'm a bit addicted. I think it's just because I am lonely to be honest. Whenever I am happy and around family & friends I don't do this junk. Whenever I am going through a stressful event or hung up on a jerk, I do...constantly. Thank God I am hopefully moving back home soon & I will be fulfilled & stop getting so many readings. Still, that being said I am always up for a reading when I find a bonafide amazing psychic. Like a Theresa Caputo that isn't a superstar yet. Anyway, Sandie has pretty much always been right for me on everything. I think of her more as almost like a link to my spirit guides. Today she told me the name of my dead aunt & best friend & my boss. We just have a great connection. If her big predictions come true I will be sure to post. Astrid picked up some wildly accurate stuff. Time will tell as it was a tea leaf reading. Everything Jonah told me back in the very beginning of January is happening. Everything. I'm sure he'll be back around. I think he just takes breaks. God knows I need one from work. Everyone gets a little overwhelmed time to time.

I'd like to talk to Jonah again too. He had told me in January that he felt this would work out and gave a few contact dates that sadly didnt pass. So I'd love to know what he sees now. Anyway. Hummingbird you are correct. If a guy wants to talk to you and have you in his life he will. It's just hard when they come and go because you don't what the hell they want lol. My cards say things will pick up shortly in a few days and then a break-up with him trying to remain friends. But I see he's not going to put in effort to make change much later, things will change around him that will change his mind and make him step up, which by then I'm sure I'll be over it.
This doesn't sound like him, so I don't know. I know you didn't necessarily mean I should give myself a reading, but I do wonder. No readings are coming out right on any subject. Hopefully I'll find the strength to give up on spending on them the rest of the year.

@LP: Sometimes the cards make more sense AFTER the showdown lol. Your own intuition is always your best friend. I remember when my ex and I first started dating the 9 of cups kept showing itself, usually in the outcome position. A lot of readers say oh yes, great! But when I saw it for whatever reason I just went "ew." I did not care for it at all even though I knew I could have drawn a lot worse. In hindsight the cards and I were both right, that entire relationship was all about my ex getting his fill. He was extremely selfish and I just kept giving and giving. Another time, my ex and I had just had our first fight and I was worried, cards indicated that things would be patched up rather quickly (they were) but for the outcome I got 10 of Pents, 8 of Cups, Knight of Swords. There could be so many interpretations for this but my first thought was "he's going to end things and then try to come back" (and he did) the only thing that threw me was the 10. Couldn't figure out its purpose there. About a week before Christmas, I was getting wined and dined, meeting all the friends and family I hadn't met before, receiving love notes, everything I had been hoping and waiting for the entire relationship.....and then he dumped me the night before Christmas (but not before sleeping with me, I can pick em) and everything fell in to place.
